Negations are breaking down, Mounties are talking about moving in today.

update: Looks like a lot of them are staying put.

  1. I wonder when there will be some unexpected loss of cell service and a crashing of the internet. This is why governments want to disarm their peoples. Look at China, North Korea, Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand.

    Mid island mike

    1. Would be interesting if a couple hundred or thousand Western Canadian firearm owners showed up to see what all the fuss was about with the Royal horse riders.

  2. Did Kenney want to be a Mountie when he was a boy? He didn’t fail to use them last year while laying siege to that church last year and, now, there’s the threat of using them against the truckers.

Thanks for giving us another 4 years of Rotten Rachel, you closet commie clot.

  3. So will the police be ending the Indian occupation and blockade in Caledonia Ontario? Will they swiftly end future Indian and BLM demonstrations?

    1. No, they’d rather not do that.

Much easier for politicians to take and take and take from that giant credit card they refer to as The Middle Class.

    2. It’s why the police in Canada have no integrity or any respect. They are too selective in their enforcement. Proving the are just hired government thugs.

    3. The answer is, obviously, No. Two years ago they watched as ‘Protesters’ tried to derail a train in Northern BC.
We live in a two-tiered society.

  4. Can’t they find some Indians who drive truck? Just put ’em in the middle with a couple of warrior flags and a “This is our land!” banner, the RCMP will pack up and go home.

    1. Funny you should say that. I had the same thought. Surely a couple of Mohawks could make their way to Ottawa and set up shop. The cops/politicians would be absolutely flummoxed.

  5. Supporting and watching.
Tractor is filled with diesel and ready for a slow roll down an Ontario highway.
Great to see tractors at Coutts and in Ottawa.

  6. I guess Kenney was right, needs to get a new base. Kenney is going to be forced to resign if he doesn’t drop mandates asap.

  7. The Queen’s Cowboys take their orders from Dear Leader in Ottawa, and Dear Leader finds working class Canadians offensive beyond belief.

  8. I wonder if the organizers have thought this through as a campaign. The opening being the blockades as long as possible but not counting on results. Next middle phase being the shut down of delivery to cities. That will lead to the real negotiations in the final phase but now the only option given to the government is to resign due to the blatant display of force used to commit crimes against humanity.

  9. It appears that the RCMP have moved in to the truck blockade at Coutts Alberta. Sounds like the police have the support of Kenney. Probably push to re-open the crossing over the next couple of days. The justification will be that they have to get the crossing open to, among other details, get the supply chain rolling. This will take some time to get that many trucks turned around, fuelled, etc. It would be sad if a significant number of truckers, that would use that crossing to support the supply chain from both sides of the border, were to return home and discover that they had the sniffles from being out in the cold so much. Truly unfortunate if they had to self isolate for ten or fourteen days just in an abundance of Omicron caution. It would have a bad effect on the supply chain. We can only hope that that doesn’t happen

  10. [ nods sagely at Colonialista ]

They were never your friends, people, even when they were arresting people you don’t like.

    1. “They were never your friends, people, even when they were arresting people you don’t like.”

      THIS ^^^

    2. Exactly. although they increasingly look like East German border guards in early November 89.

  11. It’s been looking pretty peaceful to me! Should be just fine until the Assholes from the Ottawa Police Farce show up!!
Kenney before you go why not start an Alberta Pol..i.. . . , ah, screw it you won’t be there long enough.

  12. It won’t end here, Trudeau and government ratchet it up. What’s the the end means of politics ? VIOLENCE

Just keep jumping on that nerve as Pierre said in Ottawa

  13. So, arrested drivers, and a bunch of empty trucks still blockading the crossing? What’s the horsemen’s plan here exactly?

    1. Hide the keys in a safe spot. Then … the Trudeau Govt. will impound the vehicles … and when nothing gets transported in Canada … perhaps the Canadian PEOPLE will rise up and DEMAND an end to this fascist extension of a non-pandemic? Fascist POWER grab in the name of … your neighbors health. You must do what you’re told … because your neighbor might catch a cold.

  14. so how many days did they allow the protest to go on in comparison to the indian and blm protests?

  15. Any opportunity to peacefully blockade the RCMP and tow trucks in?
There are only so many heavy tow trucks.

  16. Customer ordered mayhem.
    Package was delivered.
Customer refused to accept delivery for medical reasons.

  17. There are 13 border crossings into Montana from BC, Alberta and Sask. Del Bonita is 45 minutes west of Coutts.
My guess is that anyone who needs to get into Alberta or Montana has already bypassed Coutts.
The narrative by Kenny and The rcmp that supply routes are being cut off is bullshit.
If the FN people want to show support, they should blockade at Del Bonita( on the reserve).
What would Kenny and the rcmp do then???

    1. “…Del Bonita( on the reserve).

??? No reserve at Del Bonita. You mean south of Carway?

    2. Alberta trucker Sam Chahal was stuck in Sweetgrass, Montana — the community on the other side of the U.S. border from Coutts — on Tuesday. He said truckers are being told to travel to other ports of entry, but that nearby crossings don’t allow for commercial vehicles, making a detour a time-consuming and costly endeavour.

  18. I have spent hours writing to MP’s and MLA’s in support of the truckers. I hope my expression of support makes a difference for the guys who are truly on the front lines. I held off writing the blunt truth to elected officials because I’ve been harassed for being a “sh*t-disturber” before, and I also have concern about being on a “list.” (It’s a hard thing when even your own Bank blacklists you.)
But you know, trouble is here, and I’m probly already on a list. If we get the reset-world they’re planning, I’m not going to survive anyway. So I’ve written many letters, and I’m going to write more. I write to officials who have done some good things, and I write to those who deeply offend me, like Trudeau and O’Toole. I politely and bluntly tell the truth as I see it. Perhaps it won’t make any difference – but if others are writing – and I hope they are – the more, the better!

  19. Horseshit. Ain’t no negotiation without decision makers on both sides of the table. Tell the cops to eff off…they have no use here.

  20. From what I gathered, the Truckers weren’t blocking the flow to the USA, they only slowed it down some. Big deal! Cops took video. Big deal! Then ran away when MORE trucks showed up. Ha! The best part was that, miraculously, all the tow trucks in Southern Alberta were unavailable for the RCMP to rent.
