        1. If you like the current regime in the Ukraine, you’re a Soros fan.
If you don’t like it, what do you care, ahole?

          1. I don’t care about any regime in Ukraine, they can figure it out, or they can’t. I cate about russians going back to Siberia and staying there where they belong. russia is cancer. Ahole.

    1. @Colonista

we need Russia as they shall side with US vs the Chicom’s when push comes to shove.

      1. No we do need russia. That is just amateurish nonsense without any understanding of what russia is.

No they will not side with US. US has problems siding with US and you expect russia to do it? Why? They will play both sides as they have done in the past.

  1. Sadly, the libs will claim this is further proof of Trump’s collusion – Putin stayed back because it was his part of his deal.
They’re already tapping it out as part of the myth.

    1. The “Libs” loved the murderous Soviet Union, they still wave the flag at social events, not so much once it became a an independent free market democracy. Coincidence?

  2. Much as I loathe Rachel Maddow, the question of why Putin is no longer hesitating to re-unite Greater and Lesser Russia is actually a fair one.

Among other things, under President Trump, the US lost some of its taste for needlessly provoking Russia or using “Ukraine” as a parking lot for NATO tanks.

In general, President Trump was not particularly interested in starting wars with people who had no quarrel with the people of the United States.

On the contrary—the US and Russia have common enemies in Red China and global finance. President Trump was popular in Russia because he, like Putin, understood who his country’s real enemies were.

  3. The sooner Putin frees the Ukraine from the Soros installed and backed regime currently running the place, the better it will be for the Ukrainians.

  4. Putin is no hero. He’s the Godfather of the organized crime ring that rules Russia. Ukraine is corrupt in many ways, but it doesn’t deserve Putin. When I was stationed in Europe, I met many who suffered under Russia. Their stories will always live with me.

    1. Well said. Many here seem to be convinced that if democrats don’t like Pootin he must be a good guy (either that or they are infatuated with his manliness).

Pootin is a brutal tyrant running a country of whipped dogs. This has never changed since Mongols created norms that govern russia to this day (russians know two norms of interaction: step on someone’s neck or lick their boot).

To what extent Pootin’s adventures are US/Canadian business is a separate story. Russia has never ending ambitions, will always meddle in the affairs of her betters (which includes all of her neighbors) and anyone affected by russia will always suffer. Russia is like King Midas of shit. There is a reason those who share her borders nearly universally hate her.

    2. OJ has found the real killer!

Tell us all of this magical place that isn’t run by an organized crime ring, while you’re at it.

      1. I am just curious: is there any topic on which you are capable of seeing three or more shades?

  5. Nothing to see here. Just the usual slimy neo-cons in Washington drumming up business for the military-industrial complex which owns them.

We North Americans have no damn business in Eastern Europe, and I don’t care what Fuehrerin Freeland says.

    1. We North Americans have no damn business in Eastern Europe,-correct.

But at this point Joe Xiden needs a war to boost his popularity, using the Clinton crime family playbook.

  6. Obviously Putin and Trump colluded and conspired; and they decided – together – to not invade Ukraine just to make Rachel Madow ( and the left in general ) look bad.

( need I say this is sarcasm )

  7. Dima Vorobiev, former Propaganda Executive at Russia

“I try not to throw up every time I see the man´s silicon-enhanced face and hear his feeble high-pitched voice on TV. He´s vindictive, vulgar and sexist. He´s a creep. But when it comes to business, he´s on top of it.

The truth is, President Putin is the best leader Russia has ever had.

He´s the first since Stalin who knows how to run the country. And in comparison with Stalin, he does the job with immensely less blood and suffering, and to much better result. At last, we have a competent leader who doesn’t kill and torment people at industrial scale.
He´s not a sadist, or power maniac, or a simple thief, or conqueror. With the power he has amassed, he could be Ivan the Terrible, or Caligula, or Lenin, – and he chooses not to. What a welcome, wonderful change.
He has little time for liberal niceties like rule of law, or civil rights, or human dignity. But he is very legalistic. “To my friends, everything; to my enemies, the law.” He wants to win elections, not abolish them, tweak and change the law, not ignore it. That´s very fresh, very new, very empowering.
He has a sense of fairness, and he values loyalty. His enemies die or disappear, often in a horrible way, but not before they had declared themselves to be his enemies. He doesn’t betray. As long as he thinks you honestly hold your end of bargain, he does´t lie or cheat. Totally out of character for someone who spent formative years in the twilight world of Soviet secret services.
He´s not tormented by inner demons that he lets act out onto other people, like many in his entourage do. He´s pragmatic, calculating, rational. “Why kill when you can make a deal? Why steal when you can buy? Why make a scene when you can sit down and have a talk?” He´s a rock of reason in the neurotic sea of post-Soviet politics.
He realizes his power mandate comes from people, not from brute force, or God, or ideological sophistry. He´s obsessed by polls figures and popular acclaim. He says what people like to hear, and he knows how to cater to his power base. He shares. He and his friends stole billions from the oil-fueled bonanza, but down here, we got many fat morsels, too. We’ve never been that well off. That´s so new. We´re amazed. Simply amazed.

Russia is a declining power. For many different reasons, it is impossible to reverse. But I believe Putin is the best to make it a rather smooth, long, uneventful decline.”

      1. While we a it:
What do russians think of Stalin?:

        https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2019-05-09/stalin-is-more-popular-than-ever-in-russia-survey-shows

        They worship him of course.

Like all their tyrants, Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, Catherine the Whore and the list goes on.

As long as they get to subjugate their betters the russian mongrel will accept any punishment, any humiliation. Just let them off leash occasionally to rape and pillage and they will eagerly lick your boot. Mongols never change. Nor do western idiots who romanticize them.

        1. No romanticizing here, simply putting out the other side of the demonetization.

“Russia, Russia, Russia” – the demonize’ees need to appreciate who they are in bed with over this nothing-burger until it is forced into something that everyone will regret.

The biggest threat to western hegemony is Communist China, hands down globally, but the “China lovers” are the same people pushing the Russia agenda.

          1. “LIKE A BOSS….”

Nah, no romanticizing here, the way people fall him is nothing short of homoerotic fascination.

        2. Yes of course China is a bigger threat than russia. Does not make russia an ally. And yes, you romanticize Pootin, your initial post does it. Russian entire identity is built on rejection of western civilization and on demands to subjugate those around her. That’s why everyone who shares a border with russia hates russia.

The best biography of Pootin I cam across is “Wowa, Wołodia, Władimir” by Krystyna Kurczab-Redlich the book has been originally written in Polish then translated into russian. It s illegal to sell or buy this book in russia because tsar Pootin said niet. Don’t think it ever was translated into English, if it was look it up.

          1. I posted a written analysis of Putin by Dima Vorobiev (above) obviously because I respect his unique and well formed perspective of Putin, if you think that is a romantic view, well not a lot more to say here.

There are plenty of borders that share hatred with their neighbours, generally democracy’s get along while totalitarian regimes do not. Russia has been well Sanctioned by the west, China not so much, but as the “Ukrainian/ Russian Spring” rhetoric ratchets up we should expect a far worse outcome than the last Democrat run “Arab Spring” in 2011.

Here again it’s the Nobel Prize Democrats and their Progressive European Union partners driving these particular “save them from themselves” endeavours (a little oil & gas involved as well of course). They who can’t run their own economies or domestic affairs deciding for other nations how they will run theirs.

If people actually cared about the Ukraine, they would leave it alone to work out regionally with Russia. That’s all I’m saying.

          2. “If people actually cared about the Ukraine, they would leave it alone to work out regionally with Russia. That’s all I’m saying.”

How does this make any sense? How is feeding Ukraine to Pootin carrying about Ukraine? I don’t care for Ukraine and yet I cringe at the thought of how the Siberian horde will rape and plunder her. How the most valuable among Ukrainians will be targeted. How the nation with possibly most tortured history in the last century in Europe will be subjugated and stepped on by the muddied boots of the Siberian junta. Again. This is a tragedy by any objective measure. Stop telling me you care. You care that Xiden and EUnuchs are humiliated and are perfectly willing to let one of the most sworn enemies of civilization to do it to them. That’s all you care about.

I stand by my words: not nuking russia in late 40s was a crime against humanity.

P.S. Dima Vorobiev is a communist propaganda executive of the highest caliber. He hasn’t said a word in the last few decades that did not have a hidden intention.

          3. I am old enough to remember what cancer Soviets meddling in my country of birth was.

As for the idiotic lecture you linked it legitimizes Pootinista ambitions. All ethnic russians should be expelled from former soviet republics at bayonet point. They’re nothing else but remnants of occupation. Fuck russia and everything russian. Russia does not get to demand their sphere of influence because their influence is cancer. Coincidently, the shiny happy russia with no homeless or drugs story you have spewed above is 100% bullshit.

The only two things russians do well is drink themselves to death and mutilate their litters. They are already world leaders in those disciplines. More please.

          4. “the shiny happy russia with no homeless or drugs story you have spewed above is 100% bullshit.”

Yea, please point me to that quote I supposedly made, otherwise you just made it up.

Obviously we will leave it at that, give us a double thumbs for CBC when they film you rushing those Russian bunkers with Ka-bar in hand and a grenade in the other when the time comes. Cheers.

          5. “Yea, please point me to that quote I supposedly made, otherwise you just made it up.”

Right there below, in this thread:
            https://www.smalldeadanimals.com/2022/01/19/build-back-bolshevik/#comment-1566424
How long is your attention span? You’re contrasting (like a good soviet propagandist I might add) the weak girly west and their homeless with the robust manly man russia. The drug bit was just a part of standard soviet propaganda package. I was sure you have just forgotten to add it.

“Obviously we will leave it at that,”

Leave what? Your inability to construct a coherent argument? Sure.

“give us a double thumbs for CBC when they film you rushing those Russian bunkers with Ka-bar in hand and a grenade in the other when the time comes.”

I am the one who clearly stated that I don’t care for Ukraine (there goes your attention span again). Also, just so you keep up: feeling sorry that another county is being brutalized by Siberian sub humans and doing nothing does not amount to carrying. I don’t care enough to do anything about it. It does not mean that I will cheer.

You on the other hand exhibit the wide ranging perspective of a retarded lemming who insists that if Xiden does not like someone they are automatically eligible for free fellatio.

          6. @Colonista – “Right there below, in this thread:”….”How long is your attention span?”……Your inability to construct a coherent argument? Sure.”

That statement you posted as mine is attributed to a commentator called “YeahWell…” – So who has the short attention span, and inability to construct a coherent argument???

I’ll repeat so that you are clear – I DID NOT MAKE THOSE COMMENTS, which make you something other than a genuine.

Going forward do not engage me again for debate on further topics as I will give you nothing more than shit spew rather than debate as you have done with me here!

          7. “That statement you posted as mine is attributed to a commentator called “YeahWell…” – ”

I linked directly to your post, not his. Hint: click don’t scroll.

“So who has the short attention span, and inability to construct a coherent argument???”

            Clearly you have.
Again I linked to a post by Paul time stamp: January 19, 2022 at 5:55 pm

“Going forward do not engage me again for debate on further topics as I will give you nothing more than shit spew rather than debate as you have done with me here!”

That would probably be an improvement given the quality of your arguments so far.

          8. LOL – I’ll quote myself from the link you listed. the only possible place you could have gathered your brilliant Intel –

“With Open Borders, Homelessness, out of control Deficits, Woke Politics et al – the west has no business getting involved.” – Paul January 19, 2022 at 5:55 pm

Was that it? Yea, commenting about the Liberal mess in the west and having no moral authority is the same thing as saying Russia is some bright shiny utopia with no issues, right.

But comments from “Yeawell” below said something more in line with your accusations, and you know it – because you are twisting someones words instead of admitting your wrong.

Your so called “arguments” consist of crazy bigoted spew that devolves into accusing the target of your BS of making comments they did not make, which ultimately devolves further into nothing but pathetic gross sexual slurs and otherwise kindergarten name calling. Great quality man.

          9. “Yea, commenting about the Liberal mess in the west and having no moral authority is the same thing as saying Russia is some bright shiny utopia with no issues, right.”

Absolutely it is. You’re saying “we are no better” of course we are. You are implying that russia is better than we are in this respect. Of course they aren’t.

“But comments from “Yeawell” below said something more in line with your accusations, ”

Possibly, and who cares? I don’t as I haven’t read it. I barely ever bother with reading his idiocy, especially if he goes on his patented Soros/globalist rant.

P.S. Fellatio isn’t gross. You should try it, … but this time be a pitcher not a catcher.

P.P.S. I am done with you here. Your entertainment value isn’t high enough to bookmark this thread or to keep coming back to it.

  8. More like Biden will Build Back BROKER than ever… 🙂

    1. Dementia Joe’s rambling narrative about RUSSIA and Putin was … in a word … bizarre. America has never been quite as close to an Armageddon-esque thermonuclear war than we are at this moment … with Joe and his sophomoric handlers holding the football.

And PS … where are the questions about the American economy and the usurious TAX of soaring inflation and supply chain disruption on the middle class?

To paraphrase the Goldenstate Warriors owner … Nobody in America gives a shit about Ukraine or Putin or Russia. What is the pre-selected Press’s obsession with Russia and Putin.

      1. Sorry Ukraine but your borders will be re-drawn after today.
Go to 11 minutes for Jack Posobiecs analysis. Ukrainian officials in shock after hearing Bidens comments from today.
        https://warroom.org/2022/01/19/episode-1575-bannon-jack-posobiec-biden-on-blast/

        The CNN report Posobiec references—
Biden predicts Russia ‘will move in’ to Ukraine, but says ‘minor incursion’ may prompt discussion over consequences
        https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/19/politics/russia-ukraine-joe-biden-news-conference/index.html

    1. Or, at least equally likely, ‘Kamala the Ugandan nightmare’… He and Xi know she’ll manifestly stuff up when they invade the Ukraine and Taiwan respectively. Mind you, they should do both now, as Biden will just cave.

Would YOU go to war for Joe Biden?

  9. Except for maybe some Newfoundlander, Nova Scotian and New Brunswick outliers, why should we give a rat’s ass about anyone east of Bank St.?

  10. It’s amazing that there are people who think the Soviet Bolsheviks still run Russia.
    Canadians are indeed stupid.

    1. Not just Canadians,

Whether they (Western Progressives) like Russia or not, the Russians like Putin. It is their democracy and we don’t get a vote regardless of what we think. That’s a “cultural difference” borne of their experiences over several hundred years.

The truth is about the Globalist EU wanting the Ukraine as another economic engine on their books, along with a new NATO ally to bolster a military presence on Russia’s border. The western Ukrainians would like this as well, and the far Eastern Ukrainians would rather be under the Russian Federation economic engine.

Putin on the other hand wants to preserve an independent Russian economic bubble for Russia and a military buffer zone between his nation and the EU NATO allied countries. That “buffer zone” is the Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

If Western Nations the US, UK, EU and NATO had any moral authority left they may have had a justification to pursue Western Ukrainian ambitions. With Open Borders, Homelessness, out of control Deficits, Woke Politics et al – the west has no business getting involved. Guess what, there are other peoples on planet earth who want no part of Western Progressive shit, they’re not even trying to immigrate to the west unlike 90% of the Third World.

      1. Most of the west, progressive or not, are brainwashed fools, IMHO.
They accuse Russia of depriving energy to Europe, meanwhile Russia has been increasing sales year after year, which the wonderful European energy companies mark up 7-fold before selling to their people to heat their homes, meanwhile, the US has been reducing the amount of energy sold to the EU since Bidet took over.
Also, look at Russian cities, they are beautiful and well maintained, except for some collapsing ones in the north, remnants of the old Soviet economy, but even those aren’t full of homeless people and drug addicts like many cities in North America.
IMHO Putin took all the oil/energy out of the hands of globalists who were funneling wealth out of the country, and he deserves a nice slice of the pie for that, and they trickle-down was more than the Russian people would have got out of the old oligarchs.
Whenever one points this out to them, they whine “muh Georgia, muh Crimea…he’s a thug, wah!”
Now they’re whining “Muh Ukraine” as well, because they believe the western propaganda, which is essentially all about propping up and supporting a globalist agenda a la Klause Schwab.
To the average westerner, prog or conservative, not letting globalist entities funnel wealth out of your country=fascism, a nice lie that they have swallowed hook line and sinker. They are happily slicing off their own noses to spite their faces, thus the current state of the west.
        Soros-bots, the lot of ’em.

    2. “It’s amazing that there are people who think the Soviet Bolsheviks still run Russia.”

Soviet Union was russian empire under new management. Same cancer, different banner, only useful idiots romanticize either.

And yes, for the record, a Soviet KGB thug is running russia.

  11. I think everyone sees this Putin business as “Theatre”.

That said, does anyone want to see a remake of a late 60’s movie about a “GoGo” dancer? I see there is one where Raquel Welch is a GoGo dancer who is being chased by a psycho killer. As Hollywood re-makes suck, I’m thinking they should go in the GoGo girl direction.

    Any thoughts?
