Recently heard some CBC radio, a senior called in and expressed that his biggest concern was Trump and Jan 6… I shit you not… on Canadian state radio. Then, the host asked the “caller” to hold because he just happened to have a live correspondent in DC covering this topic that is so vital to everyday Canadians. What a farce, it was an obvious staged call to easily segue into some previously scheduled right-bashing. These people are thoroughly corrupted.
The CBC’s ensuing blatant anti-Republican bias on the topic would have made even CNN or MSNBC blush.
We are losing the propaganda war in Canada, losing so badly that it has already cost us our major federal Conservative Party.
CBC is the voice of the Liberal government of Justin of Socks. It’s not surprising, given the mess he’s making of everything he touches, they are shifting their focus South to divert attention from it.
Hopefully there are enough smarter people in this country to realize we cannot do anything about US politics and see through this ploy.

Good point but realize as long as they keep lining up for the booster the numbers will gradually improve. I noted we were in Saskatoon over the weekend. Finished the friend’s move, pizza was on its way, I need a beer! Hit one of Chairman Moe’s gov’t liquor stores, mask on. Accosted by this young lady upon entry. Wanted name and proof of “vaxx”. I LOL’d. “You’re kidding, right?” No, she wasn’t. I told her I was from Alberta & we didn’t need that shit for a beer. I told her in precise, no uncertain terms what she could do with her list of names and her “vaxx” passport, turned around, walked out.
Gave an old family friend a phone call, drove to the other side of the city & 30 minutes later I was washing down pizza with untaxed, home-made whiskey. Next time out I’ll bring my own beer along or just call him again. Moral of the story: Judging by what the family friend said, there’s a ton of liquor tax money not being collected by the gov’t. I ain’t the only one who’s telling Chairman Moe’s flunkies to get stuffed.
This Quebec thing is purely Francois Legault being a vindictive swine, like Justin. He too needs an appointment with Madame Defarge, and considering Quebeckers, he’s more likely to get it. In the meantime, home delivery of booze will see a massive spike. So much for punishing sane people who refuse to partake in the garbage injection cult.
The thing is, each one of these tiny protests, these acts of civil disobedience, these “up yours” don’t mean much in & of themselves. Whether it’s avoiding the GST by paying cash or trading services, not getting “vaxxed”, not paying the tax on a bottle of home made liquor, topping up the tank before crossing into BC or writing off the cost of a dozen donuts in exchange for a non-deductable haircut. None of these is very revolutionary. However, these all start adding up when more people, thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions join in, doing the same thing. It’s a great, big, fat, very satisfying, deplorable fukc you to the establishment and the more elite asses it chaps, the more I savor it. Keep it on the low down but many small town gas stations have liquor sales that are not subject to the magic papers. You have to drive some distance from Saskatoon but at least you can get your hooch.
