Its Tuesday On The Stolen Land Of Turtle Island

In addition to closing down committees, Dear Leader has other ways to avoid questions.  Former ambassador to Afghanistan sent to South America.

If only we had journalists to ask these questions here. Where is Mel Gibson when you need him?

I  guess Biden doesn’t remember that he has a staff. Famly friend explains meat prices to Old Joe.

CBC has a solution for America. A Cheney/Booker presidential ticket could save the U.S.

And another opinion on the former staffer who accuses the CBC of having a radical agenda.

  1. Popping my head up from under my warm covers…
    Is it spring yet?
    Tic…tic…tic…
    Is it spring yet?
    Tic…tic..tic..
    Is it spring yet?
Oh shit, just remembered how the mayor’s were freaking and adding new restrictions and regulations wherever you parked your vehicle…
    I think I’m SCREWED!

  2. Read the CBC piece labelled as analysis. Usual mix of lies, fear mongering and manipulations. Glad to cut myself off CBC some time ago.

    1. While the CBC rant is worth reading, I would note that she seems oblivious to the fact that she is describing how she was quite comfortable when the lean to the left was that of “people like herself”. Her angst is that she and her ilk, having created and nurtured this lean, now find that it has metastasized and wrested control of the narrative out of the “right” hands. Her complaint is that the control that she once took for granted has passed on to others.

I too cut myself off from this some time ago. But some long distance driving over Christmas and the omnipresent place of CBC on the radio dial exposed me to just how bad it has become. On that point, Ms Henley is exactly correct in what she reports.

    2. that Alexander Panetta, is a rip-roaring riot, isn’t he?

I barely glanced at his “journalism” sample, and immediately found a handful of mangled facts and exaggerations.

I’m not sure, but I think I was reading an editorial, but Panetta’s profile says he’s a correspondant.

      I’m so confused.

    3. I just read that CBC article and threw up a little in my mouth. They actually quoted some nobody who described every Trump supporter in the nation as “dead wood” … as “dry kindling” that could start another lightening strike fire that would “burn down” American Democracy. Gawwd … they call this “journalism”? I puke in the general direction of your CBC. Mouthpiece of your PM

    4. Does the CBC allow comments? I couldn’t find any sign of them but maybe I missed it. I wanted to ridicule that “near-death” of democracy on January 6 nonsense. I’m paying for this drivel and I should be able to reply to it.

  3. How can one find the viewership of the Communist Broadcasting Corporation.
Not guesses, not what one thinks, actual numbers.

    1. Numbers are hard to come by; for some reason.

“We” paid someone almost CA$123,639.45 for this not-entirely objective analysis; you might find it interesting to read between its lines. They had to carefully spin some things that they could not disguise completely:

      https://publications.gc.ca/site/archivee-archived.html?url=https://publications.gc.ca/collections/collection_2021/crtc/BC92-112-2021-1-eng.pdf

“We” also paid an unknown fortune for this report in 2019; which lists CBC radio’s overall market share at 18%; with AM radio only having 3.7% and Radio Canada at 14.3%. Exactly what these percentages represent (those who listen; or all of us?) is not revealed. Nor could I find anything that would suggest what it was.

      https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/publications/reports/policymonitoring/2019/cmr5.htm#a5

In addition to paying 100% for this reporting, the Taxpayer funded 97% of everything the CBC does: all the executives and its traditional role as an employment bureau for out-of-work NDP and Green pols. But note that the reports cannot hide that 80% of all radio listening is as background activity while driving, so draw your own conclusions as to how popular any of this is…

  4. I’ll see his Cheney/Booker and raise a DeSantis/Grenell.
This is somewhat dependent on how Casey DeSantis’ cancer treatment works out.

  5. Trump/de Santis
    Trump/Tulsi Gabbard
    de Santis/Gabbard

I put Gabbard in there because she has distanced herself from the Dementocrats and apart from some socialist ideas, does think congruently to Trump, would back his America First industrial and trade policies, is a patriot and populist. And they both understand Dementocrat cheating.

Remember Trump isn’t an ideological conservative but is the Main Street as opposed to Wall Street candidate.

    1. I’d like to see Gabbard throw her hat in the ring for the dem nomination once it becomes obvious Brandon can’t run in 2024.

  6. Booker/Cheney. Nice acid trip from the Corpseman.

Sure, America needs Spartacus and a traitor, with many strings attached.

The Ceeb article might as well have been written by MadCow, several hundred words written by someone with the vapours.

    1. Surely this was written by randomized cyber program, disregarding the realities of life.

Read somewhere that if you let a program run, eventually, in years, it will write a book.

  7. Levitsky is right about one thing. 2024 could be another stolen election and the end of American democracy. That, of course, is only if the Democrats get their way. If they do I think there’s a good chance the whole thing blows up.

  8. CBC: American democracy had a near-death experience one year ago this week.

Near-death experience. Right. If the “insurrectionists” had just seized the Capitol with their pepper spray and flagpoles and held it for a few days, that would have been the death of democracy in America. The over 2 million US military personnel would then have had no choice but to lay down all their lethal weapons, along with a million or so armed law enforcement officers. Even so democracy was in grave danger that day.

But luckily only the police had guns so the one person shot and killed was an unarmed woman. If only the “insurrectionists” had remembered to bring a couple of firearms with them they might have overthrown the government and Q Shaman would be ruling today, but that somehow slipped their minds.

    That was some fine journalism.
