    I am sure that this will be ignored as simply another English parent’s rantings about the negative impact of Covid on children, but do you even know what you are doing to our babies and children under the guise of “public health and safety”? Children are less likely to be hospitalized by covid than they are to be killed in a car crash, but we mask around them, deny them chances to see family and make friends, learn language, learn faces, explore their environments and just be kids. You are slowly killing our children, hindering their development, preventing them from learning, stunting their growth and destroying the natural brain development that happens during the formative years of their lives. They know boredom instead of exploration, they know to fear all strangers instead of make friends, they know loneliness instead of grandpa and grandma, and sadness instead of joy. And it’s thanks to you politicians.
    Now I hear talk of mandating n95 masks for daycare workers? Do you want to further hinder language development? Create a world of children who can’t talk to one another, are afraid to speak up, afraid to ask questions? I think yes. You want people to simply accept that you control us, and it breaks my heart to know that you hate our children so much that you want them to die slow deaths by psychological destruction.

    1. Thanks for your piece. It is absolutely horrible what these governments have needlessly foisted upon its citizenry. The poor children do not deserve the treatment that they’ve been dealt. For them, it’s their new normal, this is, in and of itself, not normal. Children have perfect immune systems. They are the last ones who should be wearing masks, let alone getting poison injections that are not genuine vaccines.

      Tonight I watched your Premier, Francois Legault, on CTV Montreal News. He looked relaxed, and was casually broadcasting from a clinic somewhere in Quebec. He emphasized that people, “MUST get da turd vaccine”.

      These politicians, all of them, who are enforcing this and covid passports are a disappointment to humanity.

      Maybe it’s time to home school your kids and ignore these greedy money grabbing sell-outs. They’ll keep with the enforcements as long as you let them. Enough is enough.

      1. I am puzzled by what is driving these draconian policies, when a few places ( Sweden, some US states) have done nothing like this and are doing just fine. Their kids do not wear masks. Vaccine passports to circulate in society are not mandatory. Canadians and most of their politicians have totally lost perspective.

      I gave up on Scott quite awhile ago, and watching him desperately trying to defend the indefensible is just depressing . As she suggests at more than one point, it almost makes more sense that he is trying to “punk” us, instead of offering a serious argument.

      I can’t believe that he actually believes what he claims to believe. I used to respect his opinions, but something has definitely changed the man these past couple of years.

      1. I used to like Scott Adams. He seemed to have an intelligent take on things. He (kinda) predicted Trump in 2016 and that gave him a lot of cred.
        I read his book Win Bigly about Persuasion technique. I realized during the reading that he wasn’t necessarily offering insight into persuasion, but that he was using persuasion technique to convince the reader that his book about persuasion technique was insightful. It felt…slimely making this realization.

        There’s something off about the guy. I’ve tried watching his videos, but there is something calculated and weird about the dude. He has some interesting takes, but everything feels manipulative.

    The article isn’t that great but it notes that the top two car companies in the world are refusing to sign up to 100% EVs by 2040.
