Staff at Ontario colleges have voted to go on strike. One of their many complaints is that there are not enough Indians teaching, and those that are teaching are being subjected to racism.

They need to be shut down completely until we can figure out what is going on!

I would suggest if those Indians were teaching useful STEM courses they wouldn’t be subjected to “racism”. However, if you’re peddling the grievance industry couched as pedagogy/intellectual course of study–why are they so surprised that that racists are found underneath every desk? Because, I can see bright young minds asking questions of the “professor” to clarify things that he/she cannot explain using logic or history.

I believe that if a respected champion of the working class speaks up, we should listen. I had no idea of the width and depth of the problem of raycissism at our revered learning institutions. I was shocked. I spilt my breakfast tea on my keyboard, which scared my cat. Surely, a few extra dollars can be found in the bloated defence budget to fund this absolute need? Does Canada really need all those aircraft carriers, railway artillery, and state of the art trebuchets? This one time only funding will solve the problem of raycissism for ever. Results matter, and without some good intention funding for paving the way forward, then Lake Winnipeg will boil away this February because of Global Warming.
If Doug Ford was a real conservative, he would loudly and public denounce this horseshit. He won’t.
Ford is a REAL politician, like all the others, with no philosophy other than winning the next election.

Ontario should split each college into two new ones. One of the two would be the “Applied” (e.g., trades, computer programming, etc.). The other would be the “Arts” (e.g., woman’s studies, indigenous studies, etc.). Generously fund the Applied. Let the Arts continue down the social justice path, and reject their demands in negotiations. The Arts colleges will then go on strike. Let them, but lock them out and forget about them until they come to their senses. If they never do, keep them closed. No loss to the economy or society.
In the 60’s you picked Arts and Science or Tech.

How positively Orwellian for we know that the exact opposite is the objective. And how anti-Orwell because the great man penned a seminal essay entitled Politics and the English Language which, if you haven’t, you are urged to read.
