It seems in the U.S. even the doctors are protected from law suits under COVID measures, (link provided) so I imagine public health officials are cocooned in COVID protections. It’s likely the same everywhere.

I checked out that site: looks like it was started by Artur Pawlowski, taking inspiration from the original Solidarity movement in Poland. Artur knows what it is like living in a communist state and understandably is resisting that here.
I have a number of Polish friends here and they are all angry and upset by the creeping communism. I also know some Romanians who feel the same way.

However Californians have the benefit of a slightly watered down version of the castle doctrine which is a whole bunch better than what is here in Canada where homeowners are expected to take their lumps even if it means losing his or her life while waiting for the police who may or may not show up.
