EU President, Ursula von der Leyen, aka as the lady with the nice hair, has launched a test bubble to see if the governments of the 27 member states are down for mandatory Covid jabs across the continent:
Speaking to reporters in Brussels, Von der Leyen, who practised as a doctor before her political career, said: “If you’re asking me what my personal position is, two or three years ago, I would never have thought to witness what we see right now, that we have this horrible pandemic. We have the vaccines, the life-saving vaccines, but they are not being used adequately everywhere. And this costs … This is an enormous health cost coming along.
“If you look at the numbers, we have now 77% of the adults in the European Union vaccinated or if you take the whole population, it’s 66%. And this means one-third of the European population is not vaccinated. These are 150 million people. This is a lot, and not each and every one can be vaccinated – children, for example, or people with special medical conditions – but the vast majority could and therefore, I think it is understandable and appropriate to lead this discussion now.
Unfortunately, I see most, if not all the member nations going along with this.

A year ago … the science … indicated that 70% vaccination (or natural immunity) = herd immunity. So this woman should be celebrating!? But that’s not what Totalitarians do. Is it?

Just speculating, but I am thinking that some people — even as high up as Ursula von der Leyen — may have been deceived. She may sctually believe that if everyone’s vaxed, the pandemic will end. Some leaders have been easily mislead by bought off public health people (Tedros?), and influencers like Bill Gates. Many of these may not be following all the information regarding the dangers of the vaccines.
Still, if they have any authority at all, they should be using it responsibly. I doubt Trudesu among the hopelessly deluded.
An insider in the Manitoba government said the same thing about our new premier Heather Stefanson. She is surrounded by a cabal of sycophants who restrict her knowledge to that provided only from “reliable” news sources. Thus she is completely unaware of any of the down side o the vaccination campaign. She actually believes the vaccine is “safe and effective”.
I don’t believe it. No one could be that stupid and be in her position. If it is true then its still no excuse.

See how she moves the goalposts? “one-third of the European population is not vaccinated” has to include children, which under EU rules can’t be vaccinated anyway.
It’s not that these people lie with statistics that’s galling. It’s that they can’t even be arsed to do it convincingly.

Excellent to see such open criticism of government vaccination policy and failures in general. The media has been largely silent as we move ever deeper into the quagmire of damaging, reckless health policies, violation of our citizen’s rights, and economic suicide. The Trudeau government is destroying the country, and it is time Canadians started noticing. Other media sources shoukd also be asking questions and raising concerns.
This was probably never about health, it was about politics, and a wedge issue that could be designed to criminalize independence of thought. Globalists don’t want that. They want all their policies adopted without question or dissent. They have convinced themselves that they are smarter than anyone else and that the future depends on them being in absolute control.
Where have we seen this impulse before? Communism, fascism, Islamism. The three different ways to subjugation and total control by megalomaniacs. Going back further in history, we’ve seen it in our own religious traditions too. The notion that only one sect is right, only one group favoured by God, and this gives the right to destroy anyone or anything that is different.
The libertarian impulse is of course the opposite of this, that my freedom depends on your freedom, that my being different is just a mirror image of you being different. What makes it difficult is that not every “different” is tolerable, hence a code of laws is required. If your “different” is that you wish to lure in strangers, confine them to a dungeon, and torture them, then that’s not a “different” that is equivalent to perhaps some eccentricity or some personal passion like climbing mountains or collecting butterflies.
It’s not rocket science to have freedom, it has happened in different times and places, and those have been times of growth and creativity. This lockdown mentality of the new communist-fascist hybrid that is globalism will turn society into an ant colony. Nobody will wish to draw even the slightest attention to themselves, in case the watchers disapprove.
How does a person cross that boundary and determine that they are worthy to be a watcher? It probably starts from overly indulgent liberal parenting. My child is wonderful, perfect, cannot do wrong. The child picks up this attitude, takes it to school where a teacher just like mom and dad reflect it back to them. Your parents are right, you are wonderful, perfect, incapable of error. And we’ll have a curriculum without nasty surprises like things you don’t know or can’t do. You’ll never catch on that you are a muppet. A useful idiot. An NPC. And my future oppressor.

If that was a doctor then the world will soon be in it’s death throes.
Unfortunately, it will take a very long time before the EU collapses, as their monetary and economic systems are too intertwined, and the powers in Brussels and IMF will delay the process as long as possible. As well, smaller counties do benefit, and the larger countries also enjoy exports to Eastern Europe.
The EU currency is beneficial to most countries too, competing with other world currencies.
With few exceptions the countries that were once under communism have been rejecting the entire mandate thing. It’s going to be a hard sell. If this continues expect rioting and burning.
