    1. As an older white person, I’m not afraid of Islam, I just don’t like it, its prophet, its history, its methods or its goals. Individual practitioners I take individually.

      1. Having spent some time in Muslim countries I’ve encountered numerous adherents that I liked – but, push comes to shove, I’d never trust them if religion was a factor in the situation.

Totally brainwashed – just one example is the timing of prayers – they’re never a moment away from thinking about them, going to them, talking about them……..Indoctrination R Us.

  1. CBC’s ‘Lying To Canadians About Canadians’ guest column is a regular feature.
There is a backlog of corrections to be worked through. This all takes time.

Ask the CBC cult members what their understanding of the concept of honesty is.

  2. I lived in Singapore and saw their port facilities first hand. Was and am very impressed by the efficiency of their port operations. Among the best in the world, if not the best. Impressed that at least one part of the political class in Canada made one decision that makes complete sense.

    1. I have never visited Singapore, but am aware of their efficiencies. It’s probably best for all of the Atlantic provinces to have their core industries overseen by a nation with some expertise, as opposed to how the Atlantic provinces have run their governments since 1867.

  3. I don’t think I have ever been able to make a comment on a CBC website, without my comment being removed.

    1. I have no idea how many times I’ve been banned there.
      Dozens at least.

I used to go and flag every comment.
Might as well get some work out of those CBC moderators.

  4. Both disturbing articles. The censorship one is the most egregious – the feds trial-ballooning/telegraphing what it’s going to do and ‘manufacturing consent’, to borrow a phrase from that asshole Chomsky, to go ahead. Note the name of the circus seal clapping his approval: Hashim. As in, Hashemite? Golly, colour me surprised.

    1. That pretty much sums up the present state of democracy in Canada. Get elected with free stuff and nothing substantive then get pollsters to come up with support for the real agenda. There is certainly no more questions about how the Nazis got away with achieving power as we are essentially following their lead. Hitler had Joseph Goebbels and the Spawn has his NDP pets and his needlessly bought-off media.

      1. Amen. Actually just watching a fascinating docuseries on Prime about H’s rise to power (“The Hitler Chronicles”). It’s all previously-unseen film clips with correspondence from various witnesses/contemporaries. The parallels are truly frightening. Yes, I know Trudolf doesn’t espouse Nazism (although his Dad sure loved fascism/corporatism), but the dynamics and tactics are the same or very similar. Instead, we’ve got something more like a Franco-Corporatist-Green fascism with a smiley-face emoji!

  5. A phobia is an irrational fear of something. I have a couple myself. However, my intense dislike of the islamic faith and principles is not irrational. As someone said above, I try to take individuals as they present themselves. Such as, if you got a chip on your shoulder, then I ain’t spending or wasting my time with you. If you come across as decent, honest, and intelligent, then I would be delighted to spend some time with you. I do tend to avoid loudly obsessive people of any religion. That would go double or triple for people of strong islamic beliefs, as what I’ve observed, is those that would stay with such a religion, even with all the horrors that fundamentalists of their religion carry out, then they are at least complicit, and accepting of that horrific fundamentalism. Such people are lacking ethics, morals, and decency for other humans who do not agree or accept that faith. I have no desire to even interact with such disgusting people. If I must, and it’s becoming harder and harder to avoid them in daily life, then it’s for the smallest amount of time I can possibly muster. When we do reach the time that they try to force their religion and way of life on me and mine, then the phobic part ain’t gonna matter much anyway! Cuz I’m not going out on my knees!
