Alaska student’s research upends understanding of upper atmospheric wind;
“All of the computer models say that this wind spills out quite some distance toward the equator and then eventually slows and blends into the background flow, just like traffic merging onto a highway,” Conde said. “There should be quite a strong flow extending far equatorward, but we find that it basically just hits a wall over Alaska on some occasions. It really should continue and spill out just like the models say.”
The finding has implications for spacecraft orbits, space debris avoidance, ionospheric storm modeling and our understanding about the transport of air in the thermosphere.
The thermosphere is far less dense, almost to a vacuum, compared to air at the Earth’s surface. And that means the occasional stalling of the cross-polar jet won’t be noticed on the surface or affect life here.
But what causes this stalling? That hasn’t been resolved yet. Itani’s paper does offer a correlation, however: A review of seven years of data shows a “strong influence” from solar activity. Thermospheric wind stalling is most likely to occur during solar minimum, the period of low disturbance on the sun’s surface.

My research in understanding our planet: Our planets natural inertia is to slow down and stop. The Sun’s orbital exhaust compression of our atmosphere rotating it as friction keeps it into an orb configuration. At least my models work on all planets in our Solar system. Distance changes the TIME as we measure this with the Distance of light reaching our planet and a day of rotating. Each planet is different and slower away from our planet as the Distance from the Sun is greater.

That’s not how models work, science boy. If reality doesn’t match your model, then your model is garbage.
This is the biggest problem with scientists who work in non-empirical fields: they get a little too enamoured of their elegant models and forget that Nature tends to be messy, chaotic, and unpredictable. It’s Kepler’s Platonic model of the Solar System all over again.

I don’t know if this is the same thing, but some years back, when I first heard the term ‘polar vortex’ in relation to an unexpectedly strong blast of Arctic air, I was doing some research on the term and I came across an interview with Mr. Mann. The interviewer asked him about a suggestion by a junior researcher that global warming might cause an instability in the polar winds that might actually lead to them wandering further south and causing colder temperatures across northern North America and Europe. Mann immediately shut that down by pointing out that “the models” showed that global warming would cause stronger tropical flows that would effectively pin the polar air in place and we would have decreased polar vortexes rather than increased.
The reason I remember this interview so well is due to what the interviewer then said, that this made sense since warm air rises, the warmer tropical air would naturally rise up to the Arctic and hem in the colder air that was trying to fall to the equator. I think I had a stroke yelling at the computer screen that that’s not how ‘up’ and ‘down’ work in space. Warm air does not ‘rise up’ to the North Pole because the North Pole is not ‘up’, you moron.
What these SATANIC scientists fail to add in their equations is the currents that run in the oceans.
The Greenland current causes major temperature swings all throughout the Atlantic.
It’s the cause of Britain’s fog.
This is just one variable not plugged into their ” models “.
Point is, so many things control our weather, from the heat in Earth’s Core, volcanic eruptions, ocean temps, meteor/asteroid strikes , etc and number uno that giant ball of fire in the sky.
These idiots couldn’t even fathom the intricate nature of all that is involved in creating ” weather ” patterns.
They can’t even predict local weather 7 days out accurately.
They are weather guessers at best.
