Further to yesterday’s Political Earthquake in America

Alex Berenson:

Memo to the forever lockdowners, to those who would force mRNA vaccines on children, to the masked Karens

Can you hear us now?

It’s over.

O-V-E-R.

You want to stay inside for the next 20 years? You want to stick your healthy kids with a biotechnology that barely existed 18 months ago for a disease that won’t touch them? You want to wear face diapers in 100 degree heat?

Have at it.

But you aren’t telling us what to do anymore.

Not even in New Jersey.

Leave us alone.

  1. Had they followed the science, let people decide their healthcare issues for themselves, like they always preach about abortion, they would have been better off, instead the followed their worst instincts of complete control.

    1. And they didn’t even HIDE their USE of the pandemic to fuck with our lives!! 6uild 6ack 6etter!? Really? You tore it all down … just so you could usher in a Reich of FEAR and illegal CONTROL?

Alex Berenson is right… but sadly … only by the slimmest of mathematical margins.

  2. Electing people who identify as “republican” or “conservative” on Monday isn’t enough.
We need representatives who understand free markets, and the idea that government is inherently bad at some (most) things. And the people must hold em accountable, not just blindly vote for a lawn sign color.
This is the heart of the problem, akin to Kate’s headline “not showing up to riot is a failed conservative policy”.

Let’s see what happens in Virginia… so far, very good.

    1. Eagle, you are exactly correct.
Unfortunately our system does not allow the electorate to hold elected officials accountable without giving elections to our enemies.
Our form of democracy has matured beyond its ability to accomplish what we need. It needs to evolve.
The only solution I can muster is to improve the candidate selection process is to demand a complete primary election to determine who the candidates are. Weakening the hold of the political parties is paramount in any change. Term limits need to be established.

      1. That would help.

My solution involves a version of proportional representation, with the caveat that if 30% of the electorate doesnt vote, then 30% of the seats are left blank. If 51% of the electorate doesnt vote, then no bills get passed. You would still need a majority of seats to pass a bill, irrespective of how many seats are blank. I figure that would slow down the activist class, as apathy would indeed be weaponized. When something major occurs, presumably the people would be motivated enough to elect someone.

… would also cut down on overall MP expenses, as a side benefit.

    2. Agreed. Electing a “go along to get along” conservative who just wants to manage the bureaucratic state more effectively than the liberal is no real victory. It’s a holding action. It’s what RINOs and CINOs do best. We are well past holding actions. We need firebreathers, axe wielders, demolition men, who will go in & start slashing & burning the permanent bureaucracy and do so without delay, without apology, without remorse.

I do not know if the new Virginia executives are firebreathers or milquetoasts. Given Virginia’s proximity to DC I would suspect the latter but we shall see.

Best description of the CPC I have ever read. And most Republicans.

        1. Eagle…

Ditto. That is exactly what we currently and have had for at least 60 years in Canada with the CINO’s…mainly cause they all fucking well bend the knee to the “Eastern Townships”… Nothing but bought n paid for SCUM feeding at the trough of Canadian Taxpayer monies. That pretty much sums up the Every Parliament we’ve had since Pearson..with maybe 1-2 exceptions.

    3. I deeply agree with you. The days of voting Republican and assuming the candidate will do anything close to what they promised without close & constant monitoring by the public, are now long over. Let’s just hope the public doesn’t fall back asleep.

  3. I’m happy to be proven wrong about the Virginia election. It’s a breakout case of sanity.

And nice to see The Braves win the world series after Georgia was treated in such a disgraceful manner by MLB at the behest of the woke mafia earlier this year.

  4. it is only a shift in the wind. the enemy is still there and more angry then ever. it is just the beginning of the end for dictatorial democracy.

  5. The democrat seems like a pretty evil POS. Hope after his loss is official, he gets run over by a tractor trailer.

    1. He’s joined at the hip to the Clintons. If it comes to that he’ll be shot twice in the back and then the tractor trailer will arrive to run him over.

      1. RN, That’s not quite correct. He’ll have a large knife sticking out of his back, and a two shot self inflicted suicide by firearm, to the back of the head, and the tractor trailer will be used to remove the body of evidence, as well as the body, after it has run him over twice, forward and backward. Then when they pay tribute to him at his funeral, they’ll say what a wonderful caring politician he was, and that he will be greatly missed.

  6. Feel good story of the day. The democrat president of the NJ Senate was defeated by a truck driver who spent literally hundreds of dollars on his campaign.

    1. Fantastic.
Now let’s hope the truck driver don’t get bought off or his family threatened with Arkincide.

  7. It’s disturbing that the margin was relatively slim. It should have been a total landslide. Maybe another three years of an open southern border will not only close that margin, but erase it forever in favour of the Democrats.

    1. Dems miscalculated on the the mailins.
      Not enough suitcases.
Well they got till Friday to close the gap and nudge over the finish line.
All 113 % of registered voters will have been counted by then.

” Bring out your dead “.

      1. What they discounted is no different from what the liberals found out about that “beer and popcorn” statement.

The new reality is now that a question about CRT is to liberals what a question on abortion is to a conservative.

  8. The new governor is a former Wall Streeter.

The new lieutenant governor is a Jamaican woman from New York who pretended the “election” of Barack Hussein Obama was a good thing in her victory speech.

Consider that the globalists conceded so readily because Virginians have been conned.

    1. The only thing that can help is if the credit issuers say no more money for Canada, and the currency market traders stop buying Canadian currency.
Then he runs out of other peoples money.
      Then he is screwed.
Because a dictatorship is no different from organized crime in that when the thugs can’t be paid, they force the boss into retirement.

  9. Not completely on topic…..but related.
Putin says that Western democracies are destroying themselves. He adds that Russia has been there, trying to follow the equity “dogma” of Marx and Engel, and that he hopes Russia will never go back.
Let’s hope the US is waking up. Even if Canada collapses, I doubt most Canucks will ever change course – they will just feel more superior to those Evil Americans.
If the covid “emergency” ever runs out, there are the Race and Climate emergencies waiting in the wings to make our governments pretend they are useful and our fellow plebes to feel rescued.
