Dick head Kenney worked hard at it but he finally managed to make everyone hate him. He attacked his conservative base to please the communists. What an asshole. Kenney should take a flight to Kelowna and give us hope.

Well, I am not privy to the inside joke about getting to Kelowna, but I will say this.
I escaped Edmonton in 2014, after spending too many years there, and I am glad to be in Kelowna now, compared to the 30 plus years in Edmonchuk.
I did like Ralph for some of those years, and I love my Alberta wife, but we got our asses over the mountains in the era of Stelmach, and Redford, and the rest of the lesser fools.
It all went downhill on the flats.

One of the Globe columnists had a column about two weeks ago, indicating that Kenney seems to have alienated everyone. I guess he has. But I don’t think the problem is primarily Kenney. I think Alberta is one of the real fault-lines in Canada: right vs. left. Much of Canada is die-hard leftist. Conservatives are pretty marginalized elsewhere (I would say even in Ontario, even though Conservatives are currently governing.) In Alberta, there are strong Conservatives and also a lot of leftists. How is anyone supposed to govern? If NDP gets in, they will pretty quickly be hated also.

I see a lot of armchair premiers dissing the Wildrose but they are on the rise and looking for people just like you to represent Alberta and Albertans in the next election. Don’t lie down and watch the ndp get power. Look at what Notley did when she got the reins of power. A constant lap dance on Trudeau with anti pipeline, pro “green” power with lip work added. Trudeau and the bag licking federal NDP will have us in the dark and starving by this time next year. They are after the middle class and they are winning with the economy breaking regulations and evil carbon taxes. Next will be pensions, home equity, savings accounts, all accessed by getting rid of paper money and tracked by the “vaccine” “Passport”. Wildrose is proposing a new country independent of Canada. It is a tough road but with a rainbow at the end if we persevere. With the liberal/ndp coalition now in power, the road will be rough also, but it will end at a cliff or an impassable swamp.

It had to have been rural Alberta (me and mine) that got us to the 62%. No surprise Edmonton is full of lefty government/union members and Calgary isn’t much further behind.
Replacing Nenshi with Nen-she is not particularly hopeful. And considering how poor the turnout was, I’m quite worried we are going to have one heck of a fight on our hands if we don’t get it together. I for one am willing to give Kenney the benefit of the doubt know how much pressure he has been from the opposition and media to be the bad guy. And did he ever give them that, plus Trudeau and every other politician he has taken the heat off of this year. As much as some hate Kenney, I hate Notley more. And I sure would not have wanted her and her union goons in charge since Covid started.
