Rather than admit that failures are a feature, not a bug, of centrally planned systems, some Saskatchewan doctors are talking about putting their careers on the line for socialized medicine.

She says she’s heard from a lot of other people in her profession who share her frustration over ignored recommendations from doctors.

Would those “recommendations” involve near-permanent dictatorial powers for medical professionals to manage vast sectors of the economy for which they have neither understanding nor expertise? Only someone with a god-complex would be surprised that such measures garner at least some pushback.

CBC would have obviously cut out anything about any physician who is unhappy about the effects of the mandates and adverse effects of the vaccine or seeing nurses and colleagues with decades of experience being fired because they refused the experimental mRNA treatment. Let’s not forget that many doctors are shut down and can’t speak because if they do, their licenses are suspended. I have personal knowledge of a cardiologist who literally had black shirts and a 2:00am bust down his door of thugs from the Health Department who suspended his license for talking to the press about his doubts about the vaccine. He eventually got it back but only with a gag order so he couldn’t even speak to his wife about it. He has since retired. CBC, Canada’s propaganda unit of Big Pharma, is certainly not going to interview or quote any of them.

  2. Considering the number of missed diagnosis and cancelled treatments causing death because many in the the medical professions were, and many still are, afraid of covid and won’t see you, there won’t be much of a drop in service if they do leave.

  3. So shes frustrated.Is she frustrated that doctors are not allowed to prescribe known effective drugs like Hydrochloroquin or ivermectin. Not really.
    Health care workers in BC had until today to get vaxed or get fired. The head of ones doctors group said there are about 500 doctors who refused. His solution.Fire them. Ya that’s really gonna work well in a province that is short of doctors to start with. When asked where those doctors patients were gonna go he said “crickets.

    I had to see a surgeon for upcoming surgery.The receptionist said park in the lot and wait for me to phone you to come into the office.Oh, and bring your own pen to fill out paperwork. She then gave me a clipboard with paperwork to fill out.
    When I finished she took the clipboard (with covid germs and all) from me with her bare hands. Luckily she didn’t touch my pen.

    1. Now now having once lived in Saskanowhere I assure you Regina area is not representative of Saskatchewan anymore than Toronto is representative of Canada. You only have to drive twenty minutes north out of Regina to get into the Qu’appelle Valley which is one of the prettiest spots you’ll ever see. It’s also about taste. I hate mountains. Banff left me claustrophobic and wishing for open sky.

    Read it to the bitter end and have no clue on what it is that the good Doc chick wants but is not getting which causes her to want to leave the province that she loves so much. What is the expert medical advice the province is ignoring?

    All we know is that she may be leaving for some reason.

    1. Exactly. It has something to do with higher ups not listening. But what is it they are not listening about? Could about the harm of mandates? Or maybe this doc wants to be able to prescribe ivermectin but can’t. Or maybe she doesn’t think vaccinating kids is a good idea. Now she might think the problem is she thinks we need more lockdowns and more jabs but you’d think if that was her issue she’d SAY that specifically so CBC could quote her.

  8. PFFT, Sask Health Authority, Sask Health Department, etal, etc a massive joke. Here a Doc making noise, fact is, it’s the “machine” , the beauracracy, the cubicle folks. Nothing to do with providing “care” it’s about process, policy, papers, studies, etc. Front line and care to tax payer, nada. It’s a massive leech, with no accountability. They evolv e and survive any and all governments. No consequence, no risk to the “group” think, they always survive and prosper/feed without consequence. It the socialist way. Sad but true. It’s top loaded, face to face service of payer (taxpayer) is least concern. Feed the machine, only goal of the model. Peon is sidebar and statistic.   9. I wonder if these doctors and nurses will feel guilty about all of the people they killed by ruthlessly suppressing information on ivermectin and belittling anyone who brought it up. In a year or two when they stop censoring the studies on ivermectin effectiveness against covid there are going to be a lot of people with a lot of explaining to do. No doubt the CBC’s crack team of reporters will be right there getting that story.

    1. I’m going to repeat myself. The ordinary doctors are peons in the big socialist machine and they get punished severely if they even mention it. One of my friends asked his doctor for ivermectin. The doctor had a fit and said no way am I going there. He then pointed to the feedstore just down the street in town and said “Remember, you weigh a lot less than a horse.” A lot of them know what is going on but they’re just as trapped as the rest of us.

      1. Yes, but in our healthcare system Doctors have quite a bit of power. And they are also filthy rich for the most part and can easily change jurisdictions and get a job anywhere they want. The world is screaming for people like them to take a stand and tell these twats at the top of the big socialist machine to fuck off. Not to mention their vaunted code of ethics. If it turns out that studies that showed effectiveness of anti virals were suppressed and or covered up or ignored, the trials that come are going to make Nuremberg look like a Night Court.

    It’s reassuring to learn I’m not the only one who questions turning over the running of the economy to the same kind of thinking that set up our Soviet style Health Care those many years ago. The Fabian socialists from GB who set up our scheme drove out any doctors with free market ideas with the best ones escaping to the US where they prospered very well, thank-you very much. Our loss their gain. The scheme remains similar today to the one we’ve always used and hey it has helped give the socialists their tried and true fear and smear medi-scare campaign themes for winning elections throughout the years, vilifying anyone who would dare to suggest we uncross one tee or undot one i of the entire sorry exercise.

  15. Covid has proven free health care is extremely inadequate. We need the freedom to choose providers. Just like funding following students. Competition is good for the system. I know quite a few people who have had their surgeries put off, specialist appointments and tests, babies delivered at home. Many tragedies faced alone without the love and support of family members unable to be with hospitalized patients. And yes I blame the hair on fire, helter skelter rules that differ from one hospital to the next. Where is the science? Where is the common sense? Covid has proven that no amount of money is EVER going to fix the fundamental problems that are at the root of the (un)health care system. The biggest problem is management, unions, colleges that can’t seem to figure out the simplest (but costliest and most inefficient) of problems like freeing up ambulances and handing off the duty of care. It took how many years just to get nurses and nurse practitioners in our doctor’s offices to fill prescriptions. Can they not figure out how to start some obvious tests in emergency while the attending physician is busy elsewhere? Sometimes I think they are in no hurry because they are worried there will just be more. And one last thing; this business about mental health (ANOTHER Government ministry ???) is a bunch of hooey coming from O’Toole, Trudeau and the rest. There was a serious shortage of mental health professionals and treatment programs BEFORE Covid and I’m sure it’s not going to change anytime soon.

  16. LLAB, this mirrors my feelings. I would add that this is first and foremost a failure of leadership. Ideally politicians are elected primarily to properly direct bureaucrats in wisely using available resources. What we’ve had the last few decades in a hellbent race to squander what ever resources we have, while enabling the feckless to enrich themselves. We have been distracted by lockdowns and fearmongering while the pillaging intensifies. ASo at this point one has to ask, Is there a reasonable way to stop this?
