      1. I’m reminded of a scene early in the Burt Lancaster film The Crimson Pirate.

        Captain Vallo (Lancaster) is wondering what to do with an aristocratic captive. A senior member of the crew, Mr. Bellows (played by Torin Thatcher), suggests that the captive be hanged after being tried. When another crew member yells out, “He’s guilty!”, Bellows continues with, “So much for the trial.”

  8. Ingrates. How dare they not idolize he who single-handedly, tirelessly, and ceaselessly is battling the evil of Covid, struggling to keep all of us safe…..

  10. If it was a 1:45 long documentary about Faucci’s trial and conviction, I would definitely watch it. Heck, even if it was only a documentary about why Faucci *should* be tried and convicted I might watch it. We’re not going to see either of those produced by NetFlix though.

  13. Over on glibertarians.com, one of the commenters has proposed the RTI (Rotten Tomato Index), which corrects for the nonsense of the professional reviewers thusly:
    “Pro” reviewers: 91%
    Average Jane/Joe: 2%
    Corrected RTI: Avg – Pro = 2 – 91 = -89

    Thus, the movie Fauci scores an overall RTI of -89 out of a theoretical minimum value of -100, which means the average person should simply run screaming from any attempt to view the movie.

  16. Over at Instapundit, they posted a still shot from the documentary. It shows Fauci working in his home office. The stand out item in the room is a “flattering” portrait of himself overlooking the room. Who does that? It’s gauche. Just like a former president throwing a big birthday party for himself.

    They really are self-oriented.
