Islam is fundamentally incompatible with the western value of separation of church and state, as Islam is all encompassing.

I noted the veiled reference to support for Jewish hate, with the “not moving the embassy to Jerusalem”. Having read enough of the Koran to realize how disgusting the islamic religion truly is, I for one, would not want to be part of a conservative party that supports such evil. Admittedly, when conservatives called a couple of months back asking for money and support, I advised them that I would donate and support them when they decided to act as a true conservative party. Having witnessed O’Toole reneging on a number of stated policies just days before the last election, such as the firearms issue and climate change for example, unless they have a complete reformation of their entire party, I doubt I will ever support them again. The same with islam, if they don’t have a complete reformation of the entire religion (doubtful) I don’t think I can ever be supportive and open to accepting them as people worthy of being included in a group that I can respect, admire, and look up too!

I think that the Conservative party has ceased to function as conservative in most senses of the term. It is now only a question of what will replace it and when — A slightly right-of center party? An amalgamation of a right-of-center party and the CPC? Western separation and start over? I would like to see a way to speed the process up, and further support for the current CPC is not it.
