Over 4 out of 5 people have been vaxxed, and yet 4 out of five people hospitalized are unvaxxed. Do you want to bring back restrictions on bars and restaurants and mask mandates to keep people who have refused the vaccine out of hospitals?

How many of the people you call unvaxxed are actually partially vaxxed? Until they start recording that status as a separate category like a lot of the European countries do, the vaxxed versus unvaxxed arguments are meaningless.

Talked to a friend that is a nurse about COVID today.
Her Father had the Chinese Coronavirus in the Fall of 2020. She said it was bad, hospitalized and in the ICU for a spell. He got vaccinated in March 2021. No side effects from the 2 Moderna shots. He caught the COVID (AGAIN!!!) this month. Very Mild, aches and pains, lethargy, no respiratory issues.
This plague is going to be with us for a while, whether we want it to, or not. It sounds like it keeps coming for the elderly again and again. Do what you can reasonably do to protect yourself. Vitamins C & D, Zinc, Get Healthy. I am going to continue my diet, and get down to a healthy weight. This same diet that I messed up and gained it all back last Winter.
Exercise until you feel really fit. Enjoying feeling fit is the key to keeping your weight down. If you are fit enough for vigorous exercise it only takes a couple of hours to fix an overindulgence.
Last night I ate too much apple crisp and ice cream. Today I will buck, split and stack fire wood and all will be well again.
Hence proof the vax passports have nothing to do with our health and are nothing but a coercion tool to get more people vaxxed, and then possibly expand into a digital ID and social credit system.

These vaxxed people gettinng Covid and doing rather well: how many due to the vaccine vs how many had Covid before, and taking the vaccine was incidental and irrelevant.

Funny – I ran into Andrew Forrest (or at least, Anaconda Nickel) in the 90’s. I was working with a natural gas utility that was looking for expansion opportunities. Anaconda (via McQuarrie Bank) proposed that we build a big chunk of the civil infrastructure for their mine at Murrin-Murrin: gas supply (pipeline of I can’t remember how many miles), water treatment plant (for industrial and domestic supply), acid plant, electric power generation, maybe some other stuff. I said we could be interested, if we earned a nickel miner’s return: I suggested 25% plus participation: McQuarrie’s proposal was that we earn a typical ‘regulated utility’ return of 9% or so, since we would just provide utility services. I pointed out that there was no rate base without the mine – so we were taking nickel mining risk.
The McQuarrie guy couldn’t seem to grasp that concept – he suggested that since we could lever-up our Anaconda investment, it should be worth more to me than the 9% return he had put on the table. I suggested that he could fuck himself, and that was pretty-much the end of the discussion.
I took away two lessons: 1) Andrew Forrest is an opportunist and a first-rate chancer (I thought it so appropriate that he almost went bankrupt – imagine my surprise that he be the ~richest man in Australia, but this is the country that gave us Alan Bond), and 2) NEVER believe a word from anyone at McQuarrie
General dynamics just cancelled their vaxx mandate too but I’m sure it’s just about options as well. Word on the street here in BC is that the mandate for health care workers isn’t going over so well.
Well, had to say Sayonora to the owner of a restaurant I frequent. Come Sept.22 it’ll be virtually impossible to eat there and elsewhere. Oh well.
