    1. The statement in the tweet above was from a different school, Holton-Arms. It and four other expensive private schools, Sidwell Friends, St. Albans, Georgetown Day, and the National Cathedral School, are mentioned in the article. A lot of kids of DC’s elite attend those places.

And yes, the Obama daughters did go to Sidwell. So did Chelsea Clinton and the Gore kids. One big reason, besides the curriculum, is that the school is used to having VIP students up to and including presidents’ kids and the security measures surrounding them.

Barron Trump didn’t go to any of the above schools; Melania sent him to Episcopal Day School in Bethesda.

  1. Because gravity differs depending on which color or sexual persuasion you are. (Yes, that was sarcasm). Physics is difficult enough dealing with reality that it should not spend time dealing with fantasy.

    1. “Because gravity differs depending on which sexual persuasion you are. ”

It depends if they’re wearing loafers. Certain sexual persuasions and loafers interfere with the effects of gravity.

    2. Back in the day, WHAT YOU DON’T SEE, YOU IGNORE and wonders of wonders, no internet with this vast amount of information and facts. Those laws have ignored centrifugal force and torque energy and classed every else not in these laws pseudoscience.
They still can’t figure out why water vapor defies Newtons Laws.
Different processes travel at different velocities which is simple mathematics that our educators actually forgotten and hence hating mathematics to keep everyone ignorant to questioning our experts.
You should have the tools to question and figure things out yourself and not some expert who push crap theories that your not qualified or they don’t have the data that you can question.

  2. Speaking of sacrificing children for ideological blindnss check this story out.
    https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-girl-17-in-hospital-with-coronavirus-is-targeted-by-anti-vaxxers-after-urging-young-people-to-have-jab-12395753

Three days after getting the jab she nearly died but it can’t possibly be the jab. She must have gotten COVID just before the jab.
What is scary about this is that Pfizer eliminated hundreds of people who got very very sick shortly after the jab from their study by using the excuse they must have caught COVID just before getting the jab. What is particularly striking about this in my mind is that healthy 17 years olds just don’t get that sick with COVID.

There are none so blind as will not see.

    1. No matter what benefits may or may not accrue two weeks after the injection, for those two weeks after it acts as a immunodepressant, rendering you more liable to infection and severe disease symptoms, not less.

I also note that the girl is a sea mammal.

  3. In my sons high school graduation was a retarded kid. Apparently that’s the grade 12 standard for Alberta. I grew up in the time when 1/3 of the kids quit before graduation and half the remaining kids were in the loser program.

    1. That’s not unusual. We had special education students in our high school grad 50 years ago.

    1. Pi=3.14159 is another error to use at it is opened ended calculation.
Adding rotation, the calculations distorted and need consistent adjustments
Ops, was I supposed to see that?

  4. Touchy feely engineering sounds like a Daniel Libeskind or Frank Gehry monstrosity. No doubts of wether the building will stand up.

    1. I’m actually a Gehry fan. True … his deconstructivist folding and curving flying wings of stainless steel has gotten a bit repetitive and banal. However! The Disney Concert Hall is one of the Greatest Buildings ever in the History of mankind. Yep. I admire it THAT much. OTOH … Renzo Piano is a talentless hack… and his signature canopy roofs supported on slender columns is one step away from strip-mall architecture. His only decent work is the New York Times building

  5. And Newton wept… as did Fermi, Feynman, Bohr, Planck, Maxwell, the Curies, Einstein, Tesla, Faraday, Raman, Oppenheimer, Heisenberg, Schroedinger, Gauss, Chandra Bose, Chandrasekhar, Kelvin, Dirac, Hertz and all the rest, all the way back to Archimedes. Of course, according to modern idio- er, “educators”, we can ignore their contributions to human knowledge because they’re all dead white males (except for Marie Curie, and at least a half dozen from India, but Asians have white privilege, too, apparently, so we can ignore their contributions, too). Stunningly, the people behind this kind of stupidity are running the US (and Canada, too) and still somehow think they can send people to Mars. Using the new “woke” physics, they’ll be lucky if they can get out the front door in the morning.

    1. Agreed. I will be doing everything possible to get my grandson into a Catholic school in Orange County. Not even conservative Orange Co. is immune from the leftist indoctrination.

  6. For years pundits have always scolded us with “Don’t worry, the kids are alright” and I kind of thought, well ok, maybe it’s just me. No! It isn’t me and no, they’re not alright.
Actually, it’s worse than I thought.

  7. Drama teacher, bong snowboarder, quantum mechanics know-it-all, moister feminista, trust fund kid, blackfacebooker, triple ethics abuser-yup, yup, yup
Budget balancer, Economics enthusiast, we’re-all-in-it-together, doing what’s best for Canadians-nope,nope,nope

  8. When the curriculum of a hard science is softened to include this sort of social science nonsense … then! … suddenly the inept students can earn a passing grade. Suddenly! A ‘C-‘ dolt like Al Gore can claim mastery of science. This is nothing more than grade inflation. Allowing IDIOTS to “look good on paper”. Think someone like Antony Blinken.

    1. It reminds me of my final years at Armpit College.

Soon after it adopted the student-as-customer rubbish, it seemed that every department needed to have much of their overall curricula devoted to team-building. Worse was when the instructors got the kiddies to do it in public, sometimes blocking corridors when doing so.

As for actual course content, well, who really cared? The bright ones would learn it in less time and help along those less adept.
