Think prohibition. It means underground and unregulated bars, raves, restaurants, gyms and a growing black market in fake vaccine passports and fake vaccine injections. OTOH, the entire vaccine passport program might be a colossally expensive flop like Canada’s rifle registry.
Implementing and maintaining a domestic passport system are two very different scenarios . For instance, if the vaccinated have to keep getting boosters then more of them will stop and therefore join the ranks of the unvaccinated until the system collapses. There’s also the possibility of more civil unrest leading to populism or political opportunism. Perhaps a slow fade of covid19 into irrelevance as the disease runs its course and burns out?
As I’ve said before, it’s probably time to relocate out of big cities until this mass mania goes away. Especially if you’re a non-conformist, libertarian or conservative.
