    2. How many people actually voted for him is the real question. Voter fraud in inner-city precincts has been the cornerstone of Democrat strategy since at least John Kennedy “won” the 1960 election through late “votes”counted in cook county Illinois. ( other criminality, like burning down polling places in Republican strongholds, has also been used)

      Everyone knew those so-called votes were fraudulent including Richard Nixon but he had the decency to concede because he felt contesting the election would tear the country apart.( If you remember the media’s name for president Nixon was tricky dick, which shows you their bias.)

      1. The more I have read about President Nixon, the more I realize that he was a very decent man who fell on his sword in order to avoid shame to the ones who committed the crimes in his name.
        Sadly, the quality of ALL of the world’s politicians has fallen significantly since his time in office.

  3. There is no such thing as a super spreader event. I don’t care if it is Obama or a baseball game, the flu is not now nor ever going to kill everyone. Those who are afraid to die are afraid to live, now get out of my way and let me live the last few years of my life in peace. Stupid, fearful people are destroying our freedom and our lives.

I been urging my friends in the US to find a Rich Red Neck bitter clinger who just does not give one sweet F*ck to go to the southern border and send thousands of infected illegal immigrants by the busloads to Obama’s. Just think Obama could have his own burning man festival, maybe even his own Woodstock.. Martha’s Vinyard would be overwhelmed, the flowers and shrubs would be trampled there would be piss and shit in all the flowerbed, garbage everywhere. All his Liberal neighbours put upon and pissed off. Breeding under their windows and on their doorsteps. Even a plague of rats could follow them in, venereal disease and crotch crickets everywhere.

  5. Well, the birthday bash has been drastically reduced in scale, with the blame being laid on Covid.

    I have an idea, the blame can be laid on the hubris of thinking they could throw such a large party, even with people being required to test negative for WuFlu before attending and hiring a doctor as a consultant, without the optics looking terrible. They had to know this was going to make the news but they didn’t think it was going to be a problem?

    From what I’ve read, it was going to be a nightmare to successfully pull off.

  8. While I grew to dislike O’Bummer, here’s something to think about: what would the U. S. have been better off had either McCain or Romney won?

  12. Self-important narcissist. Nearly 700 invitees? Think about that number for a moment. Then think about the occasion: a 60th birthday party.

    In the USA, is reaching 60 years old really a significant event? Unless one is beset with serious medical challenges, I propose no – it isn’t.

    For readers here over 60 years old, how many folks attended your 60th celebration?

    Just curious…

    1. I gave up on celebrating birthdays, let alone having parties, decades ago. I observed my 60th all by myself. I had a drink or two and then went to bed.

    2. Personally, I wasn’t surprised that they would try to throw a party this large. He and Michelle thrive on being able to fly around the world and give speeches and sign books and hang out with celebrities and bask in the adulation given to them, and they haven’t been able to do so for a year and a half now. Plus when he turned the big 5-0 they had the White House to party in.

      Although I understand that planning for events of this magnitude starts way in advance, I agree that a party that large for a 60th birthday does seem a bit off. I have to think they were thinking the vaccines were going to be the cure-all, so this was going to be a joint birthday/we’re free from Covid party.

  13. The older I get, the less I’m interested in celebrating my accelerating approach to my end.
    As a child wants to “be a grown up”, the excitement is overblown out of childish zeal. As young adults we celebrated…..all the time if we could, not just birthdays, cuz it was now legal to drink and get laid, and have a good time. As we grew older, the sobriety of true adulthood settled in, and we knuckled down to just making a living. Basically, working, to pay the bills and eat, to get through the month to…..pay the bills and eat, to get through the month to…..

    Now retired, and armed with sober (most of the time) second thought, and concern for the direction of the country and the world, we as humanity, face an uncertain future. Yeah, I know the reality is that we have always faced an uncertain future, we just realize it more than ever now. I have no particular delight, and am not looking forward to approaching my death, but also know it is inevitable, but I’m sure as shit not planning to celebrate that fact any more!
