2. I have only been to Chicago twice in my life and both times were great. In September 1974, the design students from U of Manitoba went to Minneapolis and Chicago to view all of the wonderful architecture. And then in 1979, I attended NeoCon, the big commercial Interior Design show through a supplier sponsored trip (subsidized). The city was amazing then, but from viewing pictures now, the city has definitely gone “downhill”.
