Vegans would be exempt from compulsory workplace Covid vaccinations and employers risk legal action if they insist workers are double-jabbed, experts say. An estimated half a million Britons who do not consume animal products would not have to adhere to so-called “jabs for jobs” rules under employment laws, it has been claimed.
While the UK Government has introduced legislation stating care home staff must be jabbed. The Covid vaccine does not contain animal products, but all medications currently go through animal testing. Ethical veganism was ruled to be a protected characteristic at a tribunal last year. It means any employers would risk legal action if they order staff to be vaccinated.
Damn. We should just test vaccines on vegans then.

I personally will happily identify as a vegan to get exemption.
I guess governments will soon not be able to do anything draconian, as the longer and longer list of many the “special people with exceptions” grows, who must be “accommodated” and will get to do whatever they want, unlike normal people.
Justin, maybe, you have the right idea. Find some kind of “politically-correct” exception category and live free.

I’ve jokingly described myself as a “vegan once-removed”. Meaning that I only eat animals that follow a strictly vegan diet. “Vegan adjacent” also works. Maybe that’ll be close enough for the vaccine bureaucrats.
