  1. Count me as the FIRST heretic of “The New Religion” read: The New Pollution …

And my County is attempting to SHAME ME back into wearing a mask … where I will now be scoffed-at as an “unbeliever” for NOT “voluntarily” wearing a mask to assuage my vaccinated guilt. How dare I not make the unvaccinated feeeeeel better about themselves (hint: BIPOC’s are the largest group of unvaccinateds). To NOT wear a mask is to flaunt my white privilege … Right?

Yeah … the new Mind Pollution is killing us all with its secondhand stupidity

    1. Went Stampeding yesterday as family member had been gifted with infield seats to the rodeo and had to work so I got to go. It was fantastic!! Even on the fairgrounds, there were few masks in sight, though the warm day brought out the crowds. All the nay-sayers are saying it will be a super-spreader event but, judging from the average age of the crowds (a lot of families with young’uns), any such spreading won’t be accompanied by serious complications. I was happily unmasked, and breathed better for it.

      1. Yeah, by a rough estimate, about 80% of the people in the province are cheerfully going about their lives unburdened by face-diapers now.

  2. Neil made a lot of fascinating documentaries of Scotland and the UK – it was TV actually worth watching. Sad to see him needing to devote his talents to this kind of commentary, defending a way of life that seems to be slipping away.

  3. It’s refreshing to hear of a Scot’s accent who isn’t a Labor or SNP loving socialist.
I’d thought since Thatcher was PM, that all the good had left Scotland a century prior.

  4. This was a a compliance test, we failed miserably by being compliant easily. They censored us for our own protection and we let them. We surrendered our freedom as if it didn’t exist, getting it back will be far more difficult than resisting at the beginning.

  5. Freedom is not given to you by the government. Until you understand this you will not be free.
Sometimes acting as a free person is not easy, but if you truly value it you must exercise it, especially when to not (comply) may seem easier.

  6. In my church it’s well-known that I didn’t get the vaccine, and won’t. I guess I’m the only one, or the only one so bold as to be honest. So of course some lady in the congregation freaked last time I was there ’cause I didn’t have a mask on. I was maybe 25 feet from her at all times, but that didn’t seem to matter. The pastor, bless her dear heart, suggested I wear a mask as — you got it — an act of compassion and solidarity with those scared of COVID.

I told the pastor that I’d be back when people came to their senses. You see, no amount of scientific data or discussion is applicable here, this is all about fear. Fear of death — which I’m told some old-time churches used to talk about?
