How awful it reminds me of the horrible violence captured in the movie about South Africa, Farmlands ( mentioned on another thread). Is the US headed in the same direction? Horrors.
As an aside … I drove the wife to a Doctor Appt. in Emeryville … a block from this shopping center … earlier this week. The Medical building sits above a high security parking garage, that requires you to call the office to get buzzed in. Only patients with appointments get into the garage. Same with exiting. You cannot exit the parking garage without calling to the Dr. Office or Security. There is no automatic exit sensor. You’re trapped inside … until you’re allowed to exit.
I’ve been through the Amtrak station nearby a few times. Didn’t strike me as a particularly dangerous neighborhood.
Are the “misunderstood yoofs” wandering over from Oakland to “culturally enrich” the local leftoids ?
