The observational study, published by medRxiv, found that antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine, along with zinc, could increase the coronavirus survival rate by as much as nearly 200% if distributed at higher doses to ventilated patients with a severe version of the illness.
“We found that when the cumulative doses of two drugs, HCQ and AZM, were above a certain level, patients had a survival rate 2.9 times the other patients,” the study’s conclusion states.
And when did they figure this out?
Saint Barnabas Medical Center is a 557-bed, teaching medical center in Livingston, New Jersey. Using the hospital’s discharge coding data, we identified 255 Covid patients, who were admitted by May 1, 2020 and required invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV). Ethical approval for the study was granted by the hospital’s Institutional Review Board.
Apparently observational studies don’t count. Or so we’re being told.

Please, please, please don’t ever stop posting studies like these as “evidence” in support of your views on the various aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Your inability to discern high- vs low-quality scientific research is, all by itself, a far more effective and efficient means of discrediting your arguments than anything one could write as a rebuttal here in the comments section.

This is where our “leaders” are vulnerable to Class Action lawsuits.
They knew long ago that Ivermectin, HCQ, Vitamin D etc all helped suppress and control COVID and it would have kept people out of the hospital eliminating the lock downs, masks, distancing.
Had those drugs been promoted the first lockdown would have only been the only one as little was known.
Thousands of businesses destroyed, thousands of dead, all avoidable.
The politicians and bureaucrats pushing an agenda should cost them their careers and whatever assets they have, if not out right sent to prison for life.
