  1. I gave up my NG subscription when it was nothing but climate change gloom and doom.

    1. “I gave up my NG subscription when it was nothing but climate change gloom and doom.”

Yup. Years and years ago. And not be outdone, Canadian Geographic at least matches it on the Sickening Scale.

Natural Catastrophic Magazine: species extinctions, droughts, floods, and pestilence – all brought on by you and me.

How soon do you figure Her Phony Wokeness will be turning over her position to one of those poh li’ll chilluns who gotta walk all night an’ burn down buildin’s juss to stay warm?

      1. Exactly, Jamie.

I gave up NG and CG 25 years ago. I could see then where it was going.

The only thing bad about cancelling back then is that I can’t cancel it now!

        1. And I thought I was the only one who cancelled his subscriptions because of the twaddle they were peddling.

      2. Remember when the same magazines, back in the 70s, were warning us of the coming Ice Age? It was supposed to come down like a hammer by 2000, tops.

    2. I quit my NG subscription about 20 years ago. Aside from all the political correctness it was peddling, the other articles were boring.

  2. There’s a reason I’ve been calling it the National Barfographic for the last twenty years (after I cancelled my subscription).

      1. I would have been equally happy with white titties but I was pretty sure that wasn’t happening.

      2. Buddy –
        And way too much Whiteness.

I stopped reading when it was down to 12 pages & 4 of those were advertising.

  3. Maybe that is an attempt at a display of self-deprecation. Our elites are not above such things.

But don’t you dare hint that you know something they don’t about anything important.

    C. S. Lewis wrote that the first thing a Christian must learn is that he is proud; if he thinks he is not proud, he is very proud indeed.

Our masters swear they are not bigots. They are, of course—everybody knows this—the most bigoted people on earth.

Ask anybody who takes his Christian or Jewish faith seriously.

  4. “Race Card – White, privileged, with much to learn”

She should give all her money to a small African tribe and hand her mansions over to little brown illegal aliens to live – if she really felt that way.

By the way, why should anyone listen to this white privileged NAZI, she should be fired and replaced with a black lesbian clinically diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, then we might listen. Otherwise piss off……

    1. LOL.
      It’s a grand performance.
Bending over for the Woke Twits.
She is doing all of this precisely to keep her mansions and her “privileged” highly-paid gig.
It would literally be life-threatening to her to NOT proclaim her privilege.
We’ve seen this all before…. The noble-classes of medieval Europe bent down to the various popes and anti-popes and paid their indulgences in order to retain their entitlements.

  5. Isn’t that the magazine that had all those photos of female African natives nude above the waist in the sixties. I hear it has gone downhill since then and is just another rag shilling for the green hysteria pimps. This white privileged female should atone for those sins by picturing herself in an equivalent manner until she has learned enough.

  6. When I was in my late teens, I was excited to receive a NG subscription. I kept that for years, as it was always full of interesting articles. Sometime in the late 90’s, early 2000’s, an overtly liberal tone crept into more and more articles. It reached a point where I was reading fewer and fewer articles, either because they could not pique my interest or they were simply too overtly political. When the issue about gender hit, a couple years ago, I cancelled. What’s the point of a science mag that’s unscientific?
When we moved, a few years back, I gave our nieces and nephews the issues from the years that each was born, complete with the slip covers. The ones I kept still account for about eight feet of shelf space in my bookcase.

  7. There’s nothing she CAN learn. Except that she’s ‘white’, ‘privileged, and should quit her job … give up her pension, give up all her assets, and her home … in order to be ‘ONE’ with all BIPOC’s … Right? Anything less is just talk.

OK wokists … you go first.

  8. First thought I had when I saw this was “That’s not what she really thinks. She’s a female version of Justin Trudeau.”

          1. She needs something between her lips to ground her back to reality.
            Not my idea , but a friend’s.

          2. It would take a brave man to touch it, … even with a stolen equipment.

  9. Looks like she really mastered that smug lib too.

I have an old National Geographic from like 1965, with the cover story being about the US Navy, with great color pics of jets, aircraft carriers, bombs and other cool sheet. Can you imagine a cover story like that today?

      1. Some could argue that this is a stereotypically punchable look. Of course I disagree with that.

  10. Whenever a leftist talks about “a conversation” it usually means them browbeating you in a “struggle session” reminiscent of the chinese Cultural Revolution. Well they’re welcome to try, but one thing I WON’T do is pay them for the privilege.

    1. Like bipartisan.
To them bi partisan means that you have to be bi and they are going to be partisan.

  11. Race Card: Owner Of Work Boots And Many Economics Books.

    ‘BTW I can’t be a global warming denier, I’m a Sagittarius.’

If these dopey cows are so eager to tell us that they have much to learn then why can’t they ever admit the possibility that they are wrong about anything?
They virtue signal by humble bragging about how much they have to learn, but don’t make the mistake of trying to teach them anything outside of their Marxist religion, you filthy racist global warming denier.

  12. She strikes me as a ‘Kerry-esque” type. What she does is very important and is so needed to right the worlds wrongs. Her wealth and privilege is not about white privilege, because she understands the BIPOC situation and can do so much more from where she is, than if she gave it all to those who are struggling. Same as Kerry, needing his private plane and wealth to also right the wrongs of this evil world. We are so blessed that there are such giving and tolerant individuals that sacrifice for us this way eh. /s Yeah, I don’t buy Heinz foods stuff or Nat Geo either, so I’m damned and gonna go to Hell.

  13. Anytime I meet someone that brags about being White and Privileged I always ask them why they don’t give up their job for someone else who isn’t White or Privileged and I never get an answer…

It’s just a piece of Flair they wear to make themselves feel better.

  14. What’s hilarious to me is that Susan Goldberg and company think that including a “Race Card” statement will -increase- their subscriptions.

Roll hard Left and go down in flames, National Geographic. Got my popcorn right here for watching the sudden stop at the bottom. Extra style points for the splatter and depth of the crater.

  15. I stopped subscribing to National Geographic years ago when they stopped publishing pictures of unclad indigenous women. I could tell right there that they were on the downhill slide.

  16. National Geographic. As a child , I loved them. As an adult, I hate them. And I gave up my childish ways…

    1. Indeed, NG was my all-in for science, and kindled a lifelong fascination with REAL science.

My mom gifted a subscription in 1990, think I kept it going for 5 years, until the science wasnt science anymore.

Loved the space race coverage in the 70s, just fascinating then. No time for political science though

  17. “on the downhill slide”

That was pretty much my impression of those women…..:) IYKWIMAITYD.

  18. So if she was black, unprivileged and with nothing to learn she’d be Oprah?

  19. Soo, what you’re saying is that you’re a yuge cvnt, something we knew already.

  20. Where are her pronouns? Or is pronouns last week’s virtue-signaling thing?

  21. A historical side note possibly of interest. The first time that National Geographic took on an environmental issue was this article on sea turtles written by a relatively obscure husband (writer/naturalist) and wife (marine biologist) team, Jack Rudloe and Dr. Anne Rudloe on how sea turtles were on the brink of extinction and the efforts to save them. National Geographic discovered from the world wide attention they got for this one article that there was intense public interest in environmental activism for certain select species like sea turtles. They could make big bucks on it. They then proceeded to chase that interest right down the climate change rabbit hole in search of those big bucks. If they’d stuck to real environmental activism, like the turtle story, they might still be worth reading.

  22. You can add Scientific American to the list of WOKE pseudo science magazines. I read it for 40 years, then quit about 10 years ago.

    1. Similar situation here. I started reading it in the early 1970s, but got busy a number of years ago. I’ve got stacks of unread issues and I finally let my subscription lapse last year.

Oddly enough, SA never even tried to convince me to continue. I guess it didn’t value my business all that time.

  23. This is a cool trend. I am going to print on my business card: Race Card – Slavic , don’t give a fuck

  24. Last National Geo I ever bought was a special edition”The Science of Global Warming”..Off the magazine rack.
I still have it here somewhere..
    Guess what was not included…
If you guessed any science at all,you would be right.

  25. Imagine the shit you’d learn if you handed your job over to a visible minority.

  26. What phoney humility. You just know Susan doesn’t really think she became Editor in Chief if National Geographic as a gift bestowed upon her for her whiteness, but rather because she is the smartest, ass-kickingest, pointy-breasted bitch you lesser rubes have ever seen.
    Kneel!

  27. Has she learned yet that she is stupid or is that on her to do list. AFAF

  28. You`ll notice in this case, as in many others, that the person claiming to be white isn`t.

What do you think the odds are that Ms. Goldberg has said in a past tweet that she isn`t white?

  29. “P.S. Please don’t fire me, wreck my mansion, or take away my pension, K?
    Thanks, Susan”
