One part of the question that we can firmly answer now though: Kids are being disproportionately harmed. As of last count, there has been 252,734 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canadians under the age of 19. That accounts for 19% of all cases. Yet, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada, there have only been 11 individuals in that age group to die with the virus. And, as public health officials have made clear, COVID-19 was not in fact the cause of death in some of those cases.
In other words, our kids are thankfully not at serious risk of COVID-19. As many pediatricians have noted, COVID-19 is less severe than influenza when it comes to our children.

Strong heathy kids without other comorbidities will never die and most likely not even get sick from CV-19.
But the nightmares the kids have about killing grandma and grandpa are very real. Our many seniors neighbours are greatly bemoaning the fact they are unable to see their grandkids because the kids are scared to death that if they come within 6 feet of granny and she gets sick and dies it is all their fault.
That right there is the mind games that the youngsters are dealing with. The fear of dieing and the fear of killing!
The young children are going to kill the grandparents and the parents of these children are the greatest perpetrators of this culture of fear. The guilt factor is sky-high, and who can blame them? The Media, the medical system and the Skool Systems are all singing from the same page, brought to you by Fauci, Tam and every provincial health ministers in this Nation.
All the seniors have gotten the Filthy Jab, pretending that they are now safe from death. Lunatics, all of them.

Last October, I wanted to go to Calgary to help my healthy, 82-year old aunt stock up with food and supplies for winter. We chatted and she was okay with me coming out but in the end, I decided not to go. If she had caught dread COVID, and died, her sisters, along with the rest of the family, would have blamed me and I’d never be forgiven. I am the only one in my family not living in fear of Wu Flu and I still can’t get over how fear has gripped everyone. Not only is everyone afraid of dying or killing, they are afraid of living.
I know exactly what you mean. This winter I parked at the post office. I looked over and noticed one of the two elderly ladies parked beside me was having trouble getting out of her car because of the ice. I helped her out of her car and walked with her to the sidewalk. When I got back in my car I realized I hadn’t put on a mask and felt guilty. I had on gloves and I am quite sure that the virus can’t survive -20C weather…but I still genuinely felt bad, about helping someone.
A few weeks ago, while I was standing in line at the LCBO, a man came out of the store carrying his bottles in a box. He tripped and fell and it was surreal to watch people hesitate about going to help him up. They were asking him if he was okay (he was) but they didn’t want to get too close. Before I could reach him, an employee came out of the store to assist. Strange times.
A few months ago, I was standing in line at the AMA. I claimed an exemption and wasn’t wearing a mask.
It didn’t take long for a Kevin to come along and start openly and loudly harassing me. When I told him I was exempt, he ordered me to stay at home.
The staff didn’t blink an eye. Yet, a few minutes earlier, when someone started hassling me and I responded in a “socially unacceptable” manner, I was threatened with expulsion for not being “respectful” of other people. Never mind that I wasn’t the one who started it.
That’s when I decided I will never go to AMA in person again. Evidently, being a long-time member means nothing to that place.
Not strange at all.
Just as in the former Soviet Union, people have become so distrustful of one another that they swallow all moral and human impulses and live paranoid and unsympathetic lives.
In Canada, that can happen very quickly.

Just this morning got kicked out of 2 of the 5 businesses i went in to because I refused to wear the face diaper.
Told them they have lost my business. They were just fine with that as there was a lineup outside with everyone diapered up!! I was furious and saddened by the sheeple bleeting before the slaughter.
And, worse, those businesses probably received a lot of your custom over the years, didn’t they?
I guess times must be good if they can afford to alienate people like that. I dealt with a certain establishment for years but, when I squawked about wearing a face diaper, the staff member in question not only became belligerent (a nice way to treat a “valued customer”, isn’t it) but reported it to her boss.
Dragon Lady tracked me down a few minutes later and gave me a public dressing-down in front of everyone within earshot, threatening to have me banned from the premises for good. (Yup, there’s nothing like “naming and shaming” for building customer loyalty, right?) She also became belligerent when I didn’t turn into a grovelling blob of jelly because I not only couldn’t figure out what she was blathering about, I know I didn’t do anything wrong.
The matter I was at that place continued for a few more sessions in order for things to be properly completed. In my subsequent visits, there were copies of that place’s “zero tolerance” manifesto plastered all over the place.
One of the clauses went on about making staff feel “uncomfortable”, though that was never defined. Ah, so I guess I hurt somebody’s feelings with my objections.
I’d been dealing with that place for several years, so maybe it’s time to take my trade some place else. My money evidently meant nothing to that outfit.
Hubby and I were at Farm Boy this weekend and he noticed a couple not wearing masks. I don’t know how they made it through the front door and no one around them was objecting. I was curious to know how they managed that but, you know, it was NONE OF MY BUSINESS!!!!!
It’s the same with the “vaccines.” Strangers ask if you’ve had the shot. Since when did my health decisions become your business?!

This is what I don’t understand: Why can they admit this about kids, but not adults or the elderly. I’m convinced that a significant majority of deaths attributed to covid are not actually from covid. But how would you ever prove that.

Probably is, if you look at the “success” stories of Australia and Viet Name, etc., where there is YUGE mask useage AND a “curious” uptick in, ahem, “non-COVID” respiratory illnesses.
The next vaccine that was expected to gain approval in the US is from Novavax, and it is what is called a protein subunit vaccine.
This means that instead of the vaccine instructing your body’s immune system to make the spike protein (which increasingly sounds uncontrollable and dangerous), they found a way to manufacture the protein and it is given (but not the rest of the virus) as part of the vaccine itself.
I wonder if they will have the side effects as the others because they are also introducing the spike protein into your body, or if it will be safer because their vaccine is introducing a limited amount of spike protein which doesn’t increase (as opposed to these mRNA and viral vector vaccines getting your body to make the protein, with increasing evidence it makes more and in more parts of the body than expected).
If there’s anything I hope to be wrong about, it’s the damage that is being done to kids and young adults. Negative educational outcomes from school closures, less healthy due to lack of exercise from restrictions on organized sports, new neuroses due to constant fear based reporting, increased mental illness due to social isolation, etc. I really hope I’m wrong about the vaccines and these vaccines don’t create unnecessary fatalities or life altering short and long term health problems for our youth Too soon to tell, unfortunately.
I hope that young people will realize the truth behind the warning that a government big enough to give you everything you want…is also powerful enough to take everything away from you. Your livelihood, your freedom and what all of us were led to believe were Canadian’s untouchable constitutional rights. All lost for a disease with a 99.4% survival rate and virtually a 100% survival rate for the young. An almost unbelievable over-reaction.
What I notice the most, is anxiety has increased. Also, my daughter gave me an art poetry picture thing, with her picture on glued on it. She is masked in that picture. It just ain’t normal.
I wonder how much of this general anxiety will be permanently internalized by younger children. Mine are older and, like me, they enjoy math and science. Giving them the numbers as the demographic data on deaths was released seems to have prevented anxiety altogether. I’m sure peer pressure and social media has had some impact but their general attitude can be summed up as frustrated and annoyed. We didn’t restrict their socializing at all and, except for three weeks, the schools here were completely open and in-person for the entire 20/21 school year.

Dr.Bridle is one of the people I’ve been following. The use of the spike protein is more and more looking like the main problem with the mRNA/DNA vaccines. There’s definitely a logical case to be made for waiting until there’s more data on the vaccines. I think vaccine cautious is a better description than vaccine hesitant when it comes to the genetic based vaccines (the anti-vax label is just ridiculous).
This whole drama reminds me of a morbid discussion we had in our chemistry lab years and years ago. The thought experiment was that you know that some cataclysmic event was going to occur but you can’t stop it. Should you announce it to the public or not? I argued on the side of ,yes, you should let people know so they can talk to or be with friends and family. The other side was arguing no because it would cause a panic.
My point is : if the medical and political class becomes aware that the current covid vaccines have serious defects causing death and disability now and in the future *and* they’ve already vaccinated a large percentage of the people….would they tell us about the cataclysmic event soon to unfold?
“Vaccine cautious” is a good term for the so-far unvaccinated, though to be complete many of the people who HAVE taken the shots should be called “vaccine naive”.
The cautious can be accepting of the concept of vaccination enough trust the process as a valid tool when managed correctly, while understanding that there are many historical examples where vaccines have caused problems (something the naive don’t seem to want to face).
These aren’t whole virus vaccines so no one expects a repeat of what happened with the early polio vaccines (though this news about the spike protein is starting to bring that worry up again). However, what happened with a vaccine like the 2009 swine flu vaccine Pandemrix (another example of a rushed vaccine) is very relevant to what they gave done with Covid.
Basically, even if you work under the assumption that the people at Pfizer, Moderna, J +J , etc. are completely noble in their goals, and they created a vaccine that fulfills the basic function of protecting someone against a future Covid infection, they can’t because of the rushed timeline know one important thing. Do the antibodies we created to attack the Covid viruses spike protein also attack anything else in the human body we don’t want them to?
Only time will tell with that. With Pandemrix the answer was that the flu vaccine antibodies also attacked something called a hypocretin that was in the part of the brain that controls wakefulness, and gave some of the younger people who took the vaccine Narcolepsy. They only gave that vaccine for a few months, but it took ten years to figure out the mechanism of what had happened.
Yes, I agree with most of what you wrote. It’s why these vaccines (with current knowledge) are a firm “No, thank you” for me but a “Oh, hell no” for my kids.

It is known that children 15 years old and younger hardly ever get COVID, that it normally resembles a mild cold for only a few days, and then goes away (forever). But that is inconvenient, you want to frighten people, and threatening their children will do it. So, in an attempt to threaten the children with COVID, they simply redefined “children” as anyone 19 years old or younger. This despite the fact that 18 years old and older can legally vote, drive, hold a job, own a house, and many other things, and are considered adults.
Remember this whenever you see such news articles, if they say 19 years old, they are liars and the whole news article should be considered a lie, as should the reporter, the editor, and the newspaper or magazine or news program.
Note also the article under “more”, children, outdoors, with masks on, Contact tracing has shown that you are twenty times more likely to be struck by lightning than catch COVID outdoors. It has also shown that masks do nothing (at least 25 different careful tests have shown this). So why are these children wearing them outdoors?
