  1. South Dakota had 84 new Covid cases today, and their economy is growing. For most of Canada, it’s a slow trip to mass bankruptcy. In the meantime, no haircuts for Manitobans!

    1. I’m getting my haircut this time. I went all shaggy dog during the first lockdown and not much better during the second. This time, my appointment was next week – now canceled by the third lockdown – but my barber, an independent businessman, will squeeze me in tomorrow before the lockdown and keep me looking mainly civilized until June. Keep grinning, Manitoba.

  2. They are screwing up big time. Instead of admitting it, the politicians and bureaucrats are doubling down. Typical socialist thinking.

They forget; We elected politicians and hired bureaucrats to serve the public, not to rule over us. That needs to be a bumper sticker.

    1. Might be easier to for a bumper sticker to say : Just Say No, Pass it on.

That’s all it would take. People just need to say no and continue with life.

      No To Masks.
      No To Vaccines.
      No to Social Distancing.
      No to shutting your shop.

Just basically NO to everything a COVID gov’t says.

      1. Been sayin that for sometime now, actually since the first lockdown. Do you really think Canadians are that brave or smart?

        1. Well, Trudeau got elected so I think that answers your question. So while the solution is very simple, the implementation not so much.

People wonder how the nazis got established, well it was the same thing. No-one stood up when they had a chance. We are morons, the history is clear and still we navel gaze and fight each other over who can get their vaccine first.

Just say No, so simple yet so far away…..

    1. Oh by all means let us breath. We need to breath for all intensive purposes.

  3. Apparently they want us to live forever in some sort of quasi-totalitarian hellscape.

    Don’t they realize it’s Manitoba and it’s already a quasi-mosquitotarian hellscape.

    1. At the Pearly Gates, if you deserve Hell but lived in Manitoba, it counts as time served………..

  4. At the beginning it was said:

    “We’re all in this together”

Unfortunately no one stopped to ask what “this” actually was.

Evidently “this” is the gulag that was formerly Canada.

This nightmare ends when the people rise against these tyrants or it continues as they reluctantly acquiesce to become North Venezuela.

  5. We are finding out what “just a little bit longer” really means and what it costs.

  6. Manitoba is proof that lockdiwns don’t work. Lockdowns only delay natural herd immunity and increase the likelihood of variants

    1. MJB, 100% correct. That is why lock downs are necessary to perpetrate the myth that we are all going to die unless we live in a police state.

      1. vowg, Do you mean perpetrate or perpetuate? Oh, and I’m sure you are aware that we are all going to die,… eventually, police state or not. Personally I refuse to kowtow, or participate, I think you’ve also stated you’ll refuse to participate, no matter how much they perpetrate or perpetuate!

Your sage comments are always a treat.

  7. As usual, no benefit if you are vaccinated. Back under the bed with the mask on.

  8. Is this more “messaging”/retribution from Sgt. Schultz Roussin? I did not realize there had been an anti-lockdown rally on Thursday.

They have flogged “flatten the curve”, “we’re all in this together”, and “if we can just get through the (next long weekend)” to an absolute well deserved death.

It is disturbing to see more and more reporting that those who have taken the injection are the ones spreading the disease and suggestions that it is an intentional built in consequence. I believe it was referred to as “occupational exposure” in an article posted by Phizer.

Finn is spot on, this medical tyranny will never end until we rise up against these megalomaniacs.
