  1. So the feds have shut down all flights from India and Pakistan after how many came through with Covid passengers? At least that’s what they said…But it’s only DIRECT flights. One can still fly from Delhi to Paris and on to Montreal and Toronto, for example. Many other routes, I’m sure. The level of incompetence and misdirection (lying) is stunning, even for the Turd.

      2. Interestingly the Saturn V was the only rocket that never blew up. I still like to replay videos of its launches.

      4. What have you been smoking? The Falcon 9 has had something in the order of 114 successful launches to date with only two failures (one of which launched but didn’t reach the intended orbit). And no, SpaceX isn’t funded by the taxpayer, it’s a private (and profitable) company).

        Keep in mind that the company is developing a brand new booster. Each one is built and tested to see if the design works properly. Yes, they fail, but that’s because the designers didn’t get things right. Failure is a way of pointing out that something needs to be improved and, by analyzing the mishap, the whole process is improved.

        That’s the way things were done 60 years ago when flying rockets was still new and subject to things often going wrong. Sometimes those failures are deliberate to see under what circumstances they occur and what the limits are. Those same limits are used to define mission rules. Sometimes those failures are the only way to see what works and what doesn’t.

        The tests and failures of the Falcon 9 and Dragon spacecraft, and the incorporation of what was learned from them, gave the crew that flew the first manned mission nearly a year ago every confidence that they were going to come back safely.

        My Doc said to take 2000 IU/ day supplement because there’s more in some foods and natural sunshine, so that’s plenty. Remember vitamins A,D,E and K are not water soluble.

  20. Apologies if you’ve already seen this, but I think this fellow is bang on. Chilling, but bang on. This is not only an indictment on the pandemic-related fiascos, but actually an explanation for all of what we consider idiotic public policy on a number of fronts that SDA has been bemoaning for decades.

    I really, really, really hope he’s incorrect, though the evidence seems to support him. Overwhelmingly so.
