    1. We already have that. It is called the House of Commons, the Senate, and in Ontario, the Legislative Assembly. Biggest bunch of babies in Canada and completely subsidized by the taxpayer. At least they aren’t wandering the streets and being run over in traffic.

    2. Why would we need a Nat Day care plan when their BS Lockdowns have de-facto done that…and those that lose their jobs are getting cerb..???

Whatever $$ is given will buy ea household 2 lbs of butter at the rate food prices are rising.

    1. Why would it not have historical value? Is there a precedent for this? The current US government is rotten to the core.

    1. Yup. It’s good to see that they captured the raw energy of the original in their performance.

  1. Even in Ontario, and as reported by the Red Star no less, Ontarians are “evenly divided” on the carbon tax:

    https://www.thestar.com/politics/provincial/2021/04/06/ontario-residents-evenly-divided-on-support-for-carbon-tax-poll-finds.html

Related, a poll that could use as much help as you can give:

I do wonder, given lockdowns and all the economic uncertainty, whether the Liberals might have gone too far with the carbon tax. Could the tired be turning?

For the record: I am a staunch – and I mean staunch – opponent of the carbon tax.

    1. Sorry, that should have been “could the tide be turning”.

“Tired” was probably in my mind because of my crazy work week!

    2. CO2 is readily dissolved in warm sea water. Chemistry 101, high skule. There’s 30,000 feet of it below the 10,000 feet of it exposed west of me, called the Rocky Mountains. They and their ilk extend “north to Alaska” and south to the very tip of South America. CO2 is visibly precipitating in warm seawater in the Bahamas. As I type. You can actually take pictures of the event. Lots of Biologists go there for a tan in winter to “study” the science of CO2 being dissolved in warm seawater. They’re called “reefs”. Another place is called The Great Barrier Reef of Australia, you know “down there”. The fishing and snorfling is supposed to be excellent, year round.

  2. Adolf’s CBC was excited last night about a muslim girl with a bag over her head, helping out during the China virus. Its a good thing we have the CBC to point out constantly that only muslim migrants help out in Canada.

  3. Prince Philip has died. I always liked his sense of humour, that quite often got him in trouble.

    1. Agreed. He was of a different era, and he had values no longer promoted these days. Harry and Meghan are of today’s era, and have today’s accepted values.

      1. He was an officer in the Royal Navy and served during WW II.

        1. He had a biting/superior sense of humour. He was a pay grade or two above Der Prince and Megan….well drifter would a be a gentleman’s description of her. Maybe.

sorry, totally irrelevant to my existence…
it would be like mourning the passing
of batman… or the little mermaid.

on the plus side, he didn’t marry and
      murder eight wives.

      just my two cents.

      1. Then you always have the option of passing by without comment, as is the usual protocol for posts that are “irrelevant” to your existence. Which of course, he wasn’t but we won’t belabour the point.

What exactly was the point of that?

since you asked… the royal family, any royal family,
imho, is a relic of the medieval world… that whole
‘ruling by divine right over all of us serfs’ deal.

i’d love to know what actual relevance they have
          to anyone’s contemporary existence.

are you also saying i’m not allowed to comment on
anything unless i go with the flow?

          sounds a little antifa-like.

    3. A CLASS Guy whom I had the privilege to meet, shake hands with and listen to a cpl WWII Stories. I was a Senior warrant Officer in the Air cadets (111 Squadron YVR), at the time…part of an Honour Guard at a Dinner where he was the main speaker. After his speech he took time to come and chat with us guys for about 15 min. VERY COOL I thought….and totally a class act.

      RIP Prince Philip….

  4. Blacklock reports that Adolf’s Heritage Minister wants political taunts against politicians, banned from the internet. In other words he wants anything negative about Adolf banned.

  5. All the Borrowing and Printing of Fiat Currency by Governments is starting to hurt the common people.
Ignore the Bullshit Fake Government Stats On Inflation. Food Fuel Housing are Ripping Higher. And people are being hurt by weak leaders constant printing and borrowing for pie in the sky shit that nobody needs. When you hear the Government say we are creating jobs. It means they are going to steal more in taxes and reward their friends.

    1. One can see that plainly at the pump, in the grocery store and god forbid you need a 2 X 4 X 8’…..$ $8.20 + tax in Calgary last week.

There is a crash coming…and will be started by a crash in Home Sales.
      Garanteed.

    1. I read that all the time too Nancy.
      Lifesite. Good stuff.

And the Pfizer article. No surprise there.
      THEY WANT US all DEAD.

    2. Nancy – my paranoia had me thinking what lf these vaccines actually make us susceptible to a virus to be introduced later? You wipe out basically everyone in North America. Your personal are not susceptible because they haven’t been vaccinated with a RNA altering vaccine. You walk in and take over without having to fire a shot. Lots of room and resources. Pretty dark but maybe I am not so paranoid. We never thought they would lock us in our homes, arrest you for playing hockey outside or fence of your church either.

      1. Yes. This is scarier than anything we’ve ever seen. Governments all over have declared war on its own citizens. What are we going to do? Please let us have the strength to stop the insanity.

WE scandal implicates California Governor Gavin Newsom….

“Newsom, who was Lt. Gov. at the time, became co-chair of WE Day California with his wife, Jennifer, from 2014 to 2016. Newsom even sent a letter to former California State Superintendent Tom Torlakson encouraging all school districts and administrators to attend the inaugural year.”

“According to state public finance records, a couple of weeks before Newsom spoke at WE Day 2015, records indicate Newsom made a behested payment – which according to the Fair Political Practices Commission means he requested Comcast to make a donation to the nonprofit for $242,500.”

“Since the (Kielburger) brothers appeared on Oprah in 2000, WE Charity claims 1,500 schools and school rooms have been built across the world with funds. But, the nonprofit has been unable to provide a list of each location to the Parliamentary committee. “Can’t tell us where those schools are, who the students are, who the teachers are,” said Poilievre. “How can we even prove they exist?” “

    1. In addition, Canada’s federal elections watchdog has opened an investigation into WE Canada Charity…..

“Canada’s elections watchdog has been making inquiries about whether WE Charity carried out activities that benefited the Liberal Party in violation of electoral laws, according to a researcher who said a senior investigator from the office recently interviewed her.
Vivian Krause, an independent researcher and blogger who testified about WE Charity at the House of Commons finance committee last July, told The Globe and Mail she was contacted in February by Louise Panneton, a senior investigator with the Office of the Commissioner of Canada Elections.”

Any bets that it’ll find something improper? Nah, I didn’t think so.
