Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle

Outsourcing their children is most popular among wealthy liberals, that seems to have stayed true for years now.
A French Canadian guy I used to know went to a US Ivy League school and invited his roommate to have Christmas with his family in Quebec because his roommate’s parents were going on vacation instead of celebrating.
The roommate didn’t even speak French, but he enjoyed the family atmosphere so much that the next year he asked if he could join them for Christmas again.
It just seemed so sad that it was worthy of mention.
Philanthropist, that is one of the saddest things I have read all day.
People don’t realise that forcing certain arrangements on people were designed to split apart the family.
It does provide insights into how they think. Someone that starved for love and feelings of family would be willing to do or say almost anything to make others like them. It’s a breeding grounds for anti-family and anti-society thinking (can’t think of the term at the moment – edit, is sociopath or psychopath closer?).
all commericals right now feature a white woman with a black husband . and once in a while a white woman and an oriental man, or two blacks ,
all this in a 3.5 % black canaduh
demographic appropriation from the USA , which in itself is only 12.5 % black
I find it more confusing when the multi racial/cultural parents have children of another racial/cultural background and not a single one of them is white. You would be hard pressed to find an Asian/Indian, gay/trans couple with a mix of black, hispanic and muslim children. The pot is so mixed in media now that we have no idea what flavour it actually is.
Before that, the advertisements were depicting large families with no fathers.
As for the study, it reinforces why I use “yuppie” as a derogatory term.
Agree, the commercials have gone to the ‘dark side’!
Checked out Horwath’s kid lately?
