    1. Yeah, it’s the typical CBC’s crowing with delight at Alberta’s misfortunes. As long as we keep voting for a right-wing provincial government, we’ll always be seen as semi-literate bumpkins, hillbillies, and hayseeds.

That sentiment was made abundantly clear when I started grad studies at UBC more than 40 years ago, moving to Lotusland from Calgary.

    2. Two things, Kenney is an absolute disappointment, Gerson is a d/c, but I love the ‘short-man bluster’ line.

    3. If one signed to comment on the idiot, one would say.
You, whoever you are, are an freeloading asshole that knows not whereof you’re speaking of.
Not being signed just mean that the idiot would have to read it here, which no doubt he will.

There is so much nonsense in that article that it hurts the eyes to read it.

One fault with Kenney is that he put other peoples money in free enterprise hence making it unfree.

    4. I feel like the CBC as a ‘minimum twattery’ requirement for opinion columns like this. Most of the article is just tepid casting of shade at Kenney, some of it deserved, which the author seems to think somehow justifies his stupid political preferences (it doesn’t). The other 10% is economic illiteraty.

EDIT: retort to Gerson: no Jen, it’s not going well. Confederation is bad that’s why I’m a separatist.

    1. Oh…my…God. The article defends the carrier, as does his union, because he and some Chinese colleagues were offended by the paper criticizing the ChiCom government. World turned upside down. FIRE the stupid bastards, people who want to work need jobs!

Here’s the email of the writer supporting censorship: alsalloum@postmedia.com.

    1. Ward – That is cool. I wonder who made that happen and if Google is aware of it. Or maybe it was Google that did it.

    2. LMA.O..!! Antifa.com indeed.
Heres hoping someone will pull something like that for say the WWF or the PMO…both pointing at Rockefeller or Rothschilds.

  1. With Biden cancelling Keystone XL, banning fracking on federal lands, and putting a hold on new oil and gas leases, I’m betting the US will soon be dependent on Middle East oil again.

Look for Biden to appoint an oil czar to manage the transition to Saudi oil. The czar be announced as having vast oil and gas experience. The nominee?

    Hunter Biden

Don’t forget all contracts to have 10% for the big guy.

    1. Russia is a big winner too. Funny that given how they colluded to elect the Bad Orange Man.

  3. I Watched Biden’s Inauguration First-Hand by Katie Hopkins
    https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2021/01/i-watched-bidens-inauguration-first-hand-katie-hopkins/

    – “This should be an historical moment for the country. Instead it feels like an illusion, fabricated for the TV, right down to the made-for-TV flags and columns of light on the mall.”
    – “D.C. now feels like one giant stage built entirely for a drama of the Democrats’ own creation. I’d argue the troops are being used as bit-part actors, for crowd scenes and effect.”
    – “Republicans, particularly white Republicans, are now tarnished with the label ‘domestic terrorists’ and are all policed as such.”
    – “And yet on Black Lives Matter Plaza, just a block or two from the White House, BLM protesters seem to enjoy special privileges. The entry point to this place remains relatively open and welcoming, their music system gives the place a party feel, and there are no National Guards visible here.”
    – “It is emotion that makes these events matter. And there is none to be had here. This is a sterilized inauguration in a city sanitized by a garrison of troops. All you can feel is numb.”
    – “I meet a woman who has traveled from Texas to be here because of her love for Biden,,, She can’t believe she is all alone and that the city is so deserted.”

  4. The Liberal Party’s Globe and Mail has stories this morning that we should stop complaining about the delays in vaccine delivery and stop worrying about the fossil fuel industry. Trudeau is doing a wonderful job regarding both issues.

  5. I was at that “worlds fair” in NY. I spent a rather boring day there, drank some beer and came home.

  6. Barbara Kay, over at the National Post, has a lengthy piece, worth reading, about the Jessica Mulroney affair from last summer. SDAers may recall that Ms. Mulroney TV show, wife of Ben Mulroney, was cancelled by a BLM mob, and BellMedia, after being accused by a BLM thingy for supposed “racism”. I have no like of Ben Mulroney or his corrupt father Brian. but Ms. Kay in the pice stresses that the corporate media mob — in siding with Black Lives Matter — refused to even interview Ms. Mulroney, to get her side of the story:
    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/barbara-kay-text-messages-exonerate-jessica-mulroney-after-she-was-cancelled-last-summer

Reminds one of the Indian rail blockades of last spring. The corporate media were so one sided, they never bothered to interview to construction workers working on the BC pipeline project, to get their side of the story. And BellMedia stinks.

Btw, husband Ben Mulroney should have immediately resigned at his morning talk-gig at CTV, over what happened. Talk about not standing up for his wife!

    1. That was very telling about the dismal state of race relations in Canada. I believe the BLM mentality is making things worse. Also, while in the exchange, Jessica understands the situation as an altercation/misunderstanding between two individuals, Sasha insists on framing it in a larger context of race relations, where the current reality is that whites must grovel. Personally, I don’t expect that will improve race relations over the long term. Barbara Kay is one of the few journalists not afraid of the mob.

  7. Too bad Canada doesn’t have a parliament to question Adolf about the GG resignation. That’s the trouble when you have a dictatorship.

    1. Given the embarrassment over the Rt. Hon. Payette’s resignation, I for once tuned into CBC’s news channel to watch the chagrined faces on the Ceeb hosts. What was even funnier was watching Liberal-water carriers David Herle and Peter Donolo trick-skate through Rosemary Barton’s softball questions.

Btw, David Herle is one grey hairball.

While “Days and Nights in Wuhan” may benefit from strong state support, Ai’s “Coronation” has been rejected by festivals, theatres and streaming services including Amazon and Netflix, he said. He attributes the censorship to fears over offending the ruling party, which controls what movies can be shown in China and what Chinese films can be displayed abroad.

“I don’t care about the film festivals,” Ai said in a virtual news conference Friday, hosted by the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan. “But they are a platform, they should present meaningful films. That’s their duty. If there’s a failure of this duty, then I feel ashamed of them.”

  9. I was there at the World’s Fair. It was great. I still have good memories of the Ford, GM, and Traveler’s Insurance pavilions.
Ford had a neat ride using Galaxy convertables if I remember correctly, and the first Mustang.
GM’s interior was the inside of a giant V8 engine with moving pistons. They had smiley faces painted on them. Traveler’s had an exhibition on the evolution of man, and gave away booklets with an accompanying record, which I still have.
The natural gas Association had a house where everything was powered by gas, even the lighting.
I returned a few years ago to visit one of the Maker Faires held there. The globe is still there along with a couple of other buildings. But I couldn’t remember where everything else was located. It has been 50 some years, however.

  10. Good news for laid off pipeline workers. You can have an exciting career as one of Adolf’s civil servants. Adolf is creating another agency, this time to manage water or something.

    1. Will protesters be blockading those pipelines as well? After all, they need something to do now that Keystone’s been scuttled, right?

  11. Here is an anecdote from way-back-when, about what Monte Solberg was like as a person. It was at a Manning Conference, where I and my copy editor were running a booth for our conservative newsletter. The copy editor brought along her 19-year-old daughter to help, a tall skinny thing fresh out of high school, confused about what she wanted to do with her life.

It was lunchtime on a Saturday and the three of us were eating at our booth (one good thing about the Manning conferences was that we were fed well). Up came Monte Solberg, in jeans and work shirt, with his lunch plate, and sat down to talk with the three of us. He at the time was federal Minister of Social Development.

The conversation turned on the 19-year-old’s vocational future, and Mr. Solberg spent the next 40-45 minutes talking to her about what career possibilities she had — asking about her interests and so forth — well beyond when the next session was to start. I was struck how unpretentious Mr. Solberg was, as a federal cabinet ministers, givihg his time to help one young person. He was, and is, a class human being.

Awk! A gremlin attacked this post — 8t is supposed to appear beneath Paul Harvey’s and P O’s post on Monte above.

  12. Blackie’s CBC reports on indians blockading the reconstruction of a Parks Canada dam in the Kawarthas Ontario. The project is to make needed repairs to the dam. The indians blockading the dam site insist they should have been consulted first. However Parks Canada explains the band is not recognized by the federal government. I wonder if the police will arrest them like they do to other demonstrators that break the China virus lockdown?

  13. Like reading this guy: Vernan Coleman
    https://www.vernoncoleman.com/theywanttokill.htm
“They managed to murder huge numbers in the care homes and they have killed vast numbers of the sick by closing down hospitals for absolutely no good reason.”

“But I think their biggest weapon is food.”

For example: “The price of the world’s most important staple food – rice – has risen by 70%. “

    1. I think Vernan Coleman is great. He knows a lot and is right on many things. I trust his judgement, given his broad life experience, but I regret that he does not bother to include footnotes/references in his books which weakens his impact.

  14. Well here is a story you won’t see in the Liberal Party’s Toronto Star. Blacklock reports on the first audit report of Blackie’s Public Health Agency. Its a damning report that there is little expertise at the agency that Peking Tam and China Patty control. Lots of mismanagement and waste. Confusion at the agency, and the head honcho quit, stating I need a break.

    1. John, I tried to search for a link to the actual audit, and so far the corrupt federal government has not posted it online. I do not know how Blacklock’s got a hold of it. It figures that our corrupt federal government is hiding the document.

  15. Anyone here subscribe to the PM’s official email?
I do to keep up with whats going on in his addled brain.
Just received the latest-Lengthy, so I won’t post in its entirety.
    Here’s a sample of it.

  16. He’s barely left office and already PBS has begun to slice and dice Trump. Tuesday evening, Frontline will be showing just how awful he was and, to quote what’s on the KSPS page for that show, “how Trump sowed division, violence, and insurrection”. Funny, those words exactly described what his predecessor did, but , then, Barry and Mike were heaven-sent, weren’t they?

I won’t be watching, of course. No wonder I stopped supporting PBS.

Yes, I still sneak a peek at that channel, but only if there’s something that might be worth watching, but that might be once every few weeks. It’s become nothing but anti-conservative programming and tepid, unoriginal British murder mysteries.

  17. This KDW article is so good I have to post it again: “Witless Ape Rides Helicopter”

“And, while we’re at it, maybe turning your party over to Generalissimo Walter Mitty, his hideous scheming spawn, and the studio audience from Hee-Haw was not just absolutely aces as a political strategy.

Think on it, Cletus. I know this whole thing still sounds like your idea of a good time — how’s that working out for you?”

  18. It would be nice to have politicians, Prime Ministers in particular, who could show us respect when questioned on issues at hand with straight answers.
Trudeau was not doing that today. He takes no responsibility for his choice of Payette for GG.

  19. Adolf at his presser today was disappointed at the Keystone decision, but he explained that he and Canadians have much in common with Pervert Joe. We all want to fight global warming and strengthen diversity.

    1. much in common with Pervert Joe

So, because I breathe oxygen and have hemoglobin in my blood vessels, I have a kinship of sorts with Chou Bai-Den? Try again, mate.

    1. Replying to myself to add:

The RCMP look like a very bad bunch, according to our CBC.
Maybe it is time to get them out of Saskatchewan as well.

“”Like the Catholic Church, they just move them to another parish. I have a list [of RCMP officers] who have been found guilty up to 15 times. Those people have been promoted.”

“”The level of violence and sexual assault that was reported was shocking. Indeed, over 130 claimants disclosed penetrative sexual assaults,” Bastarache’s report says.”

“”I think that it’s quite easy to identify some of them because, as I said, when they’re found guilty of harassment, they’re moved around,” he said.

“It’s easy to see who has been changed three or four times and has been in trouble three or four times … These aren’t a few bad apples. These are hundreds of bad apples.”

    2. Looks like the RCMPs information collecting is more acurate than pollsters..
      The swine are getting nervous.
Having failed to serve or protect the taxpaying citizens, they now want to prevent any competition.
Only room for one band of thieves at a time?

  20. When our dunce PM lectures us we shouldn’t fly even within Canda why in the hell is the NHL able to zig zag back and forth all the time to play their little fun games????? Yeah all in it together.

  21. Our country and society is broken beyond repair because the people have become stupid beyond education and redemption.

  22. SO it appears it appears Zinc /HCQ ,Rapid tests and and the vaccine roll out were doxed or delayed to defeat Trump. If it is true 400 thousand people died in the US , not to mention the rest of the world of covid this is a massive genocide. People need to be held accountable. I am not naïve enough to believe it will happen.

  23. Shoddy COVID “Science” on asymptomatic spread (from Livestream #63)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7tJh7D4w-U&feature=emb_rel_end
    ————————————————————————————————————————————-
L- Bret and Heather, (perhaps the most successful couple on social media) analyze 3 studies that claim to support the asymptomatic spread of Covid-19, but clearly don’t. Then they explain why such junk science profits the authour, just as fake news does for the MSM.
All this in only 11 minutes and 26 seconds.

    1. He violated one of the Zeroth Commandments: “Thou shalt not say hurty things about Prinz Dummkopf”.

(Another Zeroth Commandment is: “Thou shalt not be born white.”)

  24. Rex Murphy at the National Post trashes the Keystone decision, Pervert Joe, and Blackie.
