  1. Liberals /Democrats.
    Same disease.

If the RCMP is investigating Trudeau Liberal corruption in WeGate, maybe Stephen Harper or Andy Scheer should be worried .

  2. The Swamp is attacking conservative initiatives like the NRA and border wall. It is more important than ever to support the organizations they are trying to crash. Barr should have had the Marxist attorneys laying these charges in his office at 8:00 AM to explain themselves.

  3. Miles Guo and Raheem Kassam better look out. I hope War Room Pandemic keeps broadcasting.

  4. Well I guess it depends on how one feels about Bannon, great to listen to in interviews and smart as a whip but always seemed, I dunno… sketchy. But yeah, super coincidental especially when one considers the U.S. attorney leading the charge is U.S. attorney Audrey Strauss who replaced that crooked pos Geoffrey Berman when he was fired by Trump.
Oh, and Strauss is a registered Democrat, so there’s that.
Oh, and James Comey’s daughter is a DA at SDNY.
Nice little club they’ve got going there. Deep State? Naaaa, that’s crazy talk.

  5. So obviously using the machinery of government for political gain. The sick part is the left can’t see anything wrong with that. The case will be dismissed in what – 2 years?

    1. Regardless of outcome, the process is the punishment. Bannon will be broke. Lawyers will be happy. The politicized leviathan state claims another body.

  6. The Southern District of New York is the Lawfare Headquarters of the deep state against the President. Obviously.

  7. They’ve been investigating Brian Kolfage and the fund the wall group, which includes Bannon, for a year.

Whether or not there is substance to the charges, the timing is designed to inflict maximum damage.

Funny though how the SDNY can never find anything wrong with the Clinton foundation.

    1. https://www.charitywatch.org/charities/clinton-foundation

Charity watch grades the Clinton Foundation an A- … and CLAIM … 75% of their collected donations go to programs and projects.

So far, from my reading of the “Bannon Charges” … actually Brian Kolfage, a triple amputee who started the independent wall funding campaign … “siphoned-off” $350k for his personal “lavish lifestyle”. $350k. $350k/$25M = 1%. So the Build the Wall charity spent 99% of their funds on the Wall project.

Someone please explain to me HOW a charity that spends 99% of its collections on a charitable purpose is dragged into JAIL … while the Clinton Foundation spends (reportedly) 75% of its donations on projects rates an A- … and who can claim the Clintons don’t live a “lavish lifestyle” … including their daughter who is paid a Queenly sum to “manage” the charity? Ohhhh yeah … the SDNY charges that the Build the Wall charity promised to spend 100% of donations on the project.

Expenses. That’s the entire case. The government will need to prove that legitimate expenses by those operating the charity were actually spent on a … “Lavish Lifestyle”. I thought this term was only used on Manafort, and all his fancy shoes and suits? Triple amputee, Kolfage doesn’t need a lot of shoes.

From the SDNY’s own description of the charges … this reads like a shameless political persecution. The Deep State is desperate.

  8. People have noticed the complete lack of campaigning by the Dementocrats. This is because they know the media are doing the campaigning and they are going to cheat.

  9. Setting up the media narrative to claim any arrests of the real criminals is just political revenge. Bonus points for the timing before the RNC but I don’t think they would waste this move on small potatoes like that.

  10. Meanwhile…John, oh, excuse me, “Bull”… Durham likely got up just minutes ago, reclining in his favorite chair, pj’s on and a cup of coffee, and reading about this now. Taking some much needed time off after landing that big fish Clinesmith.

    1. I do not think that is the case. Durham has Clinesmith who is a little fish in a big pond but who has knowledge of the operation way above his pay scale and is disposable. He will talk. The Bannon arrest is their deflection response. They have lost Flynn and Manafort. Must be desperate times in SDNY.

  11. People have short memories. Obama and gang used IRS to target GOP donors and supporters in general. With AOC and her ilk in control what do you will happen.

  12. It was a political hit.

Trump’s camp has immediately spun it to his saying early on the private wall couldn’t be built.

So basically, they fed right into Trump’s narrative (not to mention the fact that he fired Bannon years ago…I really didn’t understand why, but maybe now I do, I’m guessing Trump saw him as a liability early on).

  13. This is what happens when leftism is allowed to metastisize in positions of power. We’re all to familiar with this crap here in canaduh.

One of many reasons to severely restrict the size of government.

  14. America, like Canada is totally screwed. The inability to stand up for your freedom will insure that you are a slave, black or white makes no difference.

  15. Does Steve Bannon live in one of the 8 counties covered by SDNY (New York, Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and Sullivan). Does the charity Build the wall operated in any of those 8 counties?

  16. I don’t know… If you read Andy McCarthy’s article on this in National Review (https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/08/the-bannon-indictment/), it looks like a pretty damning indictment. Part of the problem is that the defendants pledged that 100% of the collected monies would go towards wall construction, then routed those funds through a series of other organizations that enabled them to receive a portion of those funds themselves.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether the charges hold up. And although Trump has been associated with Bannon in the past, those ties have become pretty tenuous in recent times. I don’t think this case will affect the ongoing campaign in the least.

  17. Bannon surprises me.
A great intellect but apparently not smart enough to remain squeaky clean above all chance of money charges, when he must know the DoJ Democrat operatives would be looking at him for an opportunity to prosecute.
Dumb as nine chickens. If there are fraudulent invoices he better have no knowledge or he’s gone.

  18. This is sounding, oh, so Putin’s Russia style that it is totally boring. Don’t they have a shred of imagination?
The Russians have coined a word for this kind of senseless persecution: the nightmaring of someone.
They accused Trump of having being installed by Putin. It sounds like Putin actually installed the democrats.
