  1. Hi Kate. I don’t have time to watch an over hour long piece that could be condensed into a few paragraphs. Please filter them.

    1. Absolutely. Kate, while at it, I have asked you before to please make sure Earth rotates slower so I get more nap time.

    2. This is a reader’s tip for readers who don’t have as much time to waste on the interweb as we would like: I can’t allow time for many of those long pieces so if they look interesting I wait for the comments to gives an indication of whether it’s going to be worth starting to watch. And I can always give up at any point if it isn’t turning out worthwhile to me.

    3. Something that would be useful would be to post along with a video link a two line description of what it is about. Sometimes people just post a video link on its own, or with an opinion comment that does not reveal the gist of the thing. YouTube videos to not carry links that provide clues.

  2. Yes Chris dear, but first you need to get into your PJ’s and finish the cookies and milk I put out for you.

    Mom

        1. Good ones. Haha

Yeah cant we just get the executive summary. Or maybe just post the comments?

The comments….yes so I dont have to actually think for myself.

  3. WUWT has been deplatformed,I guess in a week we will find out what the deal is,once Anthony has everything back onto the old service.
Sign of the cancel culture hard at work?

        1. sRg – Yeah you’re right.

For example icisil wrote; for the new Bronco “an optional dashboard Fuques-Givin meter is available. What great fun to smash the pedal to the floor to make it read zero”.

I started to Google “Fuques-Givin meter” until I read the reply from badEnglish:

“It took my brain an extra few milliseconds to get your joke; when I did, I did in fact laugh out loud! Why the delay? I processed ‘Fuques’ as “fooks”!

The same pronunciation error that I made.

  4. I find it a little odd that we are now down to the ballots being filled out and there has been almost no recent discussion on the CPC leadership candidates. Surely not everyone has assumed the west will separate and that will solve everything as appealing as it sounds.

      1. Since they look like losing the next election anyway, I’d like to see Lewis as leader, so the media will have to attack a black and female leader on behalf of PM Castreau’s party.

      2. Does anyone really think that within months or weeks, no matter who wins the CPC leadership, they won’t be diluting most of their bold conservative pronouncements and be back trying to out-left the other parties like they always have? What’s going to be any different this time? I know I gave up on them being truly conservative long ago.

        1. It will be another case of no hurt feelings otherwise the Electorate will not give assent. The snowball needs to roll downhill until the smash-up. At which point they will ask, like Hilary, ‘What Happened !’

        2. E X A C T L Y…..
They, like every other bent over Conservative cuck will do precisely what is required of them by the Laurentien Elites.

          Kiss My ring

          Capisce..??

          End of story
          WEXIT pls

  5. Bear with me. A victory by Biden and his VP surrogate might well be the only long game that Constitutionalist middle America can win. (I hesitate to say ‘conservative middle America’ because in the US you’re not a proper conservative unless you’re a Christian groupie, see CTH).
Unless the US hits rock bottom with economic and social chaos, with China using the collapse, where the centre cannot hold …. as promoted by Joe’s handlers, they will keep getting away with amazing Star Chamber social edicts in Govt Depts, Universities and Municipal Govt that no-one voted for and would never become law if put up in a referendum.
No-one is standing in the gap in the wall, certainly not Trump, who as always talks great stuff but seems to have no interest in the cultural marxist’s criminalisation of normal opinion that destroys lives and careers.

    1. Does not compute Bill.
As President Trump keeps repeating,he is not the target, those who support him are.
Politics always amazes and amuses, the current push polls are embarrassingly blatant,
Democrats Polling Ahead in every way…Which must be the narrative when planning to sell the public a little election fraud.
“Trump losing ground with old people, especially the dead”.
Meanwhile Trump is all that stands between our career parasites and open rebellion.
And China is a few more days of rain away from catastrophe,as we endure what is normally their rainy season.(July August)

Meanwhile the media and their uni-party tokens continue to make their contempt for the citizen obvious and even an expression of their virtue, interesting days indeed.
France had 6 revolutions before the citizens tired of feeding entitled nitwits to the blade.
Do you think the long suffering taxpayers will have such mercy?

  6. Edmonton Eskimos are dead. Long live the Edmonton Yes-Sir-May-I-Have-Anothers (err… apparently “Edmonton Empire” is the leading contender.) Rumours abound that the Trudeau Liberals were unwilling to give the CFL a bailout unless the name was changed.
They charge way too much for a seat anyways, which is why their crowds have dropped by 40% in the past two years.

    1. I have never understood why naming your team after an ethnic group is supposed to be insulting. I remember in the 60’s when the Louisiana State (LSU) defensive team called itself the Chinese Bandits. Being of Chinese descent I actually rather liked the name, at a time when the stereotype for Chinese was bookish wimps.
Do the teams named after white groups have to change their names too? I thought the Irish immigrants to Boston have come a long way from “No Irish Need Apply” to the “Boston Celtics.” Philadelphia 76’ers. New York Yankees. Texas Rangers. Milwaukee Brewers. Minnesota Vikings. San Francisco 49’ers. Green Bay Packers. Dallas Cowboys. New Orleans Saints. Montreal Canadiens. Vancouver Canucks. Michigan St. Spartans. USC Trojans. Oklahoma Sooners. Kansas Jayhawks. Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Tennessee Volunteers. Virginia Cavaliers. Not saying they are all white, but Texas Rangers and 49-ers and 76’ers and Yankees and Brewers and Cowboys and Saints (Catholicism being traditionally a European religion) are mostly, Some argue some of the names are racist towards non-whites. So the rule is: name your team after a white group and you are racist towards non-whites. Name your team after a non-white group and you are racist towards non-whites.

      1. The names are not insulting. In fact, they send positive messages to the various groups about their impact on the culture. This is just another attempt by the politically correct crowd to separate people and destroy tradition.
How about the Edmonton Bohunk’s. Since this term refers to a white ethnic group, I wonder if the pc crowd would object.

      2. “Racist toward non whites”. You got that right Old Bruin, only whitey can be racist right? The irony being that all these idiots demanding whitey capitulate ON EVERYTHING, they really are blind to the fact that their demands are ignorant and racist toward the cracker! Maybe whitey should start demanding “Reparations”, it would be fun to watch as they try to process that request, which is just as idiotic as their demands for reparations. No matter what names these sports teams choose, it’ll probably upset some group or another. The so called offensive team names are actually a salute to whatever group that are now offended.

I’m offended that they are so easily offended. It won’t be long before Scandinavia will be demanding the Minnesota Vikings change their name and pay reparations for offending Sweden. I’m from the UK, and the Vikings were brutal to the Anglo Saxons, so after
they get their compensation from the Vikings, they can pay it to the Anglo Saxons,. Of course the Vikings would no longer exist, as they would be broke. Come to think of it, the Romans were brutal to half the planet, so we could bankrupt Italy as well. OK, who are the next offenders and offendee’s? It’s gonna be a long list, would it be offensive to get someone to write it all down. /s

    2. Another reason for me to forever give up watching professional sports.

      1. Yes, sports franchises being politically correct is not going to keep or win fans. Sport is an innocent diversion from all the daily crap of work and politics. The fan base doesn’t want it shoved down their throat.

        1. The Roman emperors satisfied the masses with bread and circuses. Moving ahead some 2000 years, it appears that we won’t even have the latter any more.

    3. How about the Edmonton Blackies, in honour of our first black prime minister.

      1. Perhaps “The Edmonton Football Players.” I wonder what the Woke would make of that.

    4. “Edmonton Empire” – could anything be more uninspiring?

How about Edmonton Eagles with apologies to Philly. My personal favourites are Edmonton English or Edmonton Euros to stick it in their face. They really should be named the Edmonton Pussies. It’s those frigging useless white “liberals’ pushing the agenda despite Eskimos actually being proud of the name. They had something to be proud of instead of alcohol, drugs, and promiscuity.

    5. The cancel culture is real.

Once they’ve ferreted out the sports teams, cities states will be next.

      Sioux city, Seattle Indiana…..

      1. The will have all Indian names removed except in Alberta where they want all white names removed, in both cases because of racism.

  7. National Post reports that Blackie has given a Chinese government owned company, a six million dollar contract to provide security equipment at Canadian embassies.

    1. I used to think that PM Jolson was just an idiot. I do believe now that he is communist agent.

      1. He can be both. Even if he doesn’t believe he is the latter. He’s the kind of stupid that makes it easy to convince him that he’s too clever to be manipulated by you when you are manipulating him.

      2. I do believe now that he is communist agent.

He wouldn’t be the first leader of a western country suspected of that.

Australian PM Harold Holt mysteriously disappeared and, presumably, drowned during a scuba diving trip in 1967. However, there have been rumours that he was a Soviet agent and that his disappearance was a cover for him meeting a submarine waiting offshore.

        1. I am sure the Chinese donated a lot to get Justin elected and thst they continue to pull strings. I was thinking about that video clip about Trudeau being under house arrest. Seems crazy, but there did appear to be some sort of device on his ankle. So, I wondered who might have power to hold the Trudeau’s captive and decided it would be the Chinese. The house arrest still seems like a fantastical story, but Liberal connections to the Chinese government are entrenched (Chretien, Martin, Mo Strong — Strong was the puppet master ) A curious or even accountable media would be investigating. Come to think of it, I think Ezra’s new book covers this. Ezra does good research. I think I will buy a copy. Has anyone checked it out? It was briefly banned on Amazon, but back now.

          1. I have just finished it. Yes, worth a read.
I find Ezra’s style a bit off-putting since he repeats
so many “woke” attitudes (“The Libranos” was
even worse, with its fawning over JWR as a
woman/indigenous hero – she was not).
But his research is thorough and he is savage
when attacking Trudeau and his cabal.
Worth it just for the many links to news stories
going back months, putting it all together.
            What a dismal record!

            –Bad News

      3. “Communist agent”

How many millions have been paid to the Trudeau Slush Fund, also known as the Trudeau Foundation by Chinese controlled companies. Of course he is a paid communist agent, like his father.

  8. Blackie’s bought and paid for Globe and Mail reports that new mining and pipeline projects must promise to be carbon free by 2050 in order to be approved. I wonder if the Liberals received permission from China first, before announcing that. Well I guess we can kiss our resource sector goodbye.

  9. Well at least one columnist (Chris Selley) in the mainstream media has said what SDAers have been saying for so long:

“There is simply no culture of accountability in Ottawa — not for big stuff and not for small. When Trudeau headed off to Harrington Lake while advising everyone else to hide under the bed, it was considered gauche to complain. The National Post reported this week that Health Minister Patty Hajdu took four round trips in a government jet between Ottawa and Thunder Bay during the lockdown, and Treasury Board President Jean-Yves Duclos was chauffeured six times to and from Quebec City. Ho hum. Another nothingburger.”

    1. “Treasury Board President Jean-Yves Duclos was chauffeured six times to and from Quebec City.”

      But … but … but – $16 orange juice.

  10. “Is the best of the free life behind us”….a line from the Hags ‘ Are the Good Times Really Over for Good’.

    He pretty much nailed it.

  11. I really think it’s time to go the way of Yugoslavia without the bullets flying around . This once proud Dominion is nothing but a cesspool of sleaze and corruption . There is absolutely nothing to lose for Western Canadians to seek independence .

    1. Bill, there is nothing for any Canadian to lose by dumping what passes as a government in Canada.

  12. There have been no letters to the National Post newspaper published at all this week. What is going on?

    1. Letters is one of the best features. Maybe their letters editor is on holiday. Everything is cut to the bone. The Post used to have a full page of letters.

  13. Think your home is safe from Blackie? Think again. Blacklock reports that the feds are spending a quarter of a million dollars to research a home equity tax. And Great Leader spent big bucks on behavioural scientists to consult on its advertising campaign about washing your hands.

  14. On Friday the Department of Health and Social Care confirmed that there is no time limit for linking a positive test result for Covid-19 and a subsequent death, and stressed that the World Health Organisation does not define such a limit

Article is paywalled, but if you hit the stop button when it starts to load, the paywall will be blocked.

Might take a couple of tries.

  15. Just caught on the CTV website, The Liberals are stalling on the Ethics committee review of the “We” investigation! There is no end to this lying liberal graft and theft!!!

  16. Thought for everyone.
    1) CPC is a left wing liberal part. Haven’t seen anything called conservative in a long time. Waste of a Vote for them last election. It did not gain us anything at all.
    2) lets pee in the breakfast cereal of all parties, by not voting for the standard parties. Saskatchewan and Alberta gained nothing by voting for the CPC.
    3) Don’t know how to do it but there “needs” to be a way to organize a coalition of the votes to a conservative movement. One that we the people control, not one that has been bought out by cartel or special interest groups. And this movement has to be on the down low.
    4) If we can create a power block of electoral votes we the people can control how the politics is done in Canada.
    5) I am not talking about using just the 4 western provinces. All of Northern Ontario is not like Toronto or Ottawa. Northern Quebec is another place.
    6) Create a common place where they can communicate there ideas. Set up online meeting.
    7) And most importantly get the veterans involved in this. Somebody who know strategy, who can give us guidance on how to do this.
    8) This is how we take back Canada. If we don’t then we either become a Venezuela or become become part of the United States.
    9) in a interview a few years back, everyone was laughing a Trump for his remark about Canada one time belonging to United States and they lost it in the war of 1812. I did not laugh. If anything, the remark got me thinking. Why would he say such a thing. One thing that has been made abundantly clear over the last 3+ years is that Trump does not say anything with out intent. He is not a stupid man. I be that he wants Canada to fall down the rabbit hole. If we turn into a communist country, do you think that the United States would let that go unchallenged. An if he came in as a conquer, well then he would not owe any reparation to any Canadian who was left alive. That would explain a lot about how he has been treating Canada as a hole. Has he done or responded in any way the has not pissed in Trudy’s corn flakes.

    This is just my thoughts.

    1. Carscomp, We know the CPC is a centrist Liberal party; it is in fact, the alternative Liberal Party. You see, the Liberal and Conservative parties are Tweedledum and Tweedledee; the Harlem Globetrotters and Washington Generals.

Those who rule Canada (not, please note, govern) use the parties as fig leaves; the parties use the bureaucracy as fig leaves. It all works very nicely for members of the three tribes, an interminable national ruling coalition as it were. This is why nothing changes, sliding further in the globalist left direction. If the masses get fed up with one party, then the other party is invited to “run” the country.

But, note, their policies differ little. Who set their policies? Good-thinking elite dinner party guests; not you or I or any other of the masses.

The only way to end this is work for the PPC, a conservative and libertarian party. Forget leftist revolution changing the world, that has already happened and we are living with the result: an unaccountable nomenclatura doinjg things for themselves thankyouverymuch.

No, this revolution must be a Restoration of Western ethos: liberty, enterprise, justice and charity.

      1. Robert of Ottawa, PPC will not go anywhere in the west provinces. Just look at what happened in the last election. 0 seats. Not because Max didn’t try, but because when people see that he is from Quebec they won’t give him a chance. I have had this conversation with my friends. And because he is and campaigning from with in Quebec, they think of him as “one of the quebec’r people”. The other thing is the name he chose, is wrong. From the day i heard it, it sends the wrong message. the “Peoples Party of Canada” sounds socialist. Like China’s “People’s Republic of China”.

I have support the party till after the election. And i will still support it, because i believe in a change is needed. I have listened to his messaging, and it is good. Better than anyone else’s.

What i wish is for Max to run outside his comfort zone. Don’t run in the next election in Quebec. Show the people he is not tied to the province. Put distance between him and where he is expected to be, so the CPC and Liberal party can’t gang up on him. Move to a place where there is less people for them to influence with their lies. Where he can make personal connection to the people of the riding and they can tell the difference between a lie and him.

        1. Max is a quebek native son. He ran in a riding he won several times as a Conservative. His father once held the riding.

          He lost. He’s yesterday’s news.
If he cannot win in his own province he certainly cannot win elsewhere.

      2. The only problem is, the PPC is fairly liberal on social issues. And it is the social/cultural leftward drift of Canadian society that poses the greatest threat to what’s left of Canada. As bad as the economic/fiscal picture is, it’s actually the cultural rot that’s going to kill us first.

  17. Policing in Britain. Very interesting, maybe not always what you’d expect but certainly a correct diagnosis and treatment. Basically the elite have the lost confidence of the masses. Where have we heard that before? All over the Western world. The interesting thing, though, is that the elite these days is left of left, so the revolution, so long prayed and marched for, may turn out to bite them in the arse.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42shmoKwSSU

It may have been a long march through the institutions but let’s hope it will be a swift defenestration.

Note to any one reading this, that is a metaphorical defenestration and, besides, the defenestratees all survived.

  18. Conrad Black writes about the current state of academia at the National Post.

  19. Now Is the Time We Juxtapose The Sound Of Settle Science.

    London Ontario,
July 11, 2020 Dr. Chris Mackie (@Healthmac)Medical Officer of Health. “Public health policy should be based on data, not necessarily what is most popular. But I am curious: are you in favour of making masks mandatory in all indoor spaces in #ldnont and @CountyMiddlesex? (Data, BTW, says masks can be helpful, but keeping 2 m apart is more effective)”

July 14, 2020 – London’s top public health official has no immediate plans to make face masks mandatory in more public spaces…”We don’t have very many cases at all of coronavirus in our community right now, so the level of risk is very low,” Chris Mackie, medical officer of health at the Middlesex-London Health Unit, said Monday .Mackie says if #LdnOnt saw 5-10 cases for 2+ weeks, he may consider expanding the must-wear-a-mask policy to other businesses OR if there are outbreaks in other indoor settings (e.g. the grocery store).

  20. I was in Red Deer this afternoon and heard a rumour.
Apparently there are 8 people in ICU at the RD hospital and others on the floor.

They had to reopen a covid unit that they closed for lack of patients.

The source of all this activity? Hutterite colonies. There was a big funeral and word has it 1200 attended.
