        1. As you can see, the minimum skill set needed to become PM is being a drama teacher.
          Harper being elected, no matter what his perceived skills were (a “trained” economist who worked as a lobbyist) does not mean he actually had high-level skills. He did have reasonable mic skills and perfect hair.
          So the arguement that Harper was an idiot can be defended.
          However, that Harper was a Globalist and part of the Bilderberger Cabal. That cannot be disputed.

          The whole point of electing a conservative government is for them to appoint conservative people to responsible positions. The assholes Harper appointed to the Supreme Court overturned almost every law he passed. I suspect he accepted recommended appointments and did not seek out his own. In other words an idiot.

  9. It’s not a miracle. The Privy Council has seen the writing on the wall; the west is going, with pipelines currently having primacy in that sphere.

    This is either a simple delaying action, or they may actually believe it will change western minds.

    The west is leaving, I am 65% certain on that front. What I don’t know, is if it happens in my lifetime. I also know, the longer it is delayed, the more opportunity the teacher’s union has to indoctrinate the next generations of voters.

    Changed my mind; if we aren’t out within the next couple years, it’s not happening in our lifetime, and perhaps never.

    This delaying action may be a winning strategy after all. I mean, look at how many immediately went to “good news, everyone”

  12. I wouldn’t get too excited. The anti- pipeline types have no intention of following any law passed by anyone. If we don’t have a government willing to strongly enforce edicts, then they are useless. We don’t have that type of government and it is starting to appear that as Canada is currently configured, we never will.

  14. It will happen. History will not be stopped. In the end, the West will become harder and harder to govern from Ottawa and Toronto. When ordinarybfolks start using cryptos to buy and sell, when they build internet networks that sideline the Federal finance system, when people begin a local, Western currency, when Westerners cease cooperating with the CRA, etc, etc.

    The fatal assumption the left makes is that they can basically dominate the political indefinitely, but the right will continue to behave as they currently are. I mean, if you thought that the right would just shrug, and agree to be enslaved by the left and their permanent feudal underclass constituency, but continue to agree to current tax levels, declining services, and increasing discrimination, and NOT eventually decide that there is nothing in this for them, and begin to sabotage the system on multiple fronts, then I have a bridge in NY to sell you.
