Pollspotting

Update: My apologies, I didn’t realize you had to have a Twitter account to vote on this. I’ll leave it up for those who do.

      1. My policy is to have as little to do with any and all governments as possible …. and have NOTHING to do with the cesspool known as Twitter.

  1. There was once an ancient covenant between the rulers and the ruled, and that was that the rulers would protect the ruled from invasion. The west’s leaders have broken that covenant, are are no longer legitimate rulers, now they are looters, along with their BLM Antifa Moslem Feminist, etc troopers.

  2. When I became registered as a professional engineer more than 40 years ago, one had to demonstrate that one had the educational qualifications to practice. One could write a series of exams in a number of subjects, but the failure rate back then was quite high and it often took several years to complete.

The quickest and easiest way was to earn a university degree from an accredited institution. Foreign applicants frequently had difficulty with that as the curricula they studied might not have met the standards required by the provincial association. (I’m sure there are similar standards for other professions such as medicine.)

Those who fell short would be required to make up for whatever deficiency they had by either writing one of the aforementioned exams or taking courses at university.

But, that was then. In between time, a lot of people outside of the profession thought that was “unfair”, figuring that all degrees are equal everywhere. (Yeah, right.) I think you can figure out the rest.

With respect to permanent residency for foreign students, there is often a financial incentive to acquire it. Tuition can be cheaper if one becomes a landed immigrant. I know of one foreign grad student who did it for just that reason.

Still, this push for permanent residency for foreign students or, for that matter, foreign contractors or professionals, can be summed up in two words: cheap labour.

  3. Why don’t they want to go home? Compared to the frozen north of Canada the rest of the world is paradise.

    SARC/Off

  4. It never ceases to amaze me the number of foreigners who want to get in on the inequality, capitalist exploitation and systemic racism we have in this country. Funny that.

    1. Then … as soon as they get here, they work tirelessly to recreate the shit-hole they came from.

Similar to all the Californians who move to Texas then continue to vote for democrats.

If the foreign students get homesick they should stick their head in a bucket of excrement for a half hour to remind them of the what they are missing. Then leave.

  5. I always thought of it as a form of foreign aid, they took their education back home and helped their home countries.

  6. Why would they want Permanent Residency in a “Systematic Racist” country like Canada?

Canada should eliminate welfare for all immigration until newly arrive immigrants have lived and paid into the Canadian system for a minimum of 5 years. That will cut some wheat from the chaff.

No Chain migration for a minimum of 10 years, and all post-retirement “family” must fund their own stay including Health Care, through insurance, family whatever.

  7. As of 8:30 am here in Ontario No 77.9% Yes 13.3% I don’t know 8.8%
If you don’t know why bother voting at all?

  8. When our ancestors built our universities many, many years ago, it’s doubtful they intended to have them become overrun with Asians and subcontinentals. Go to school in your own country.
