      If there was at least one, he/she would have gone to Ottawa and arrested the PM for multiple indictable offenses that he has committed since taking the office.

I tried to be a card carrying member and voted on nominating committees and every freaking time I was disappointed in the end result. I actually voted against Mulroney.     1. Thank you Kenji for bringing that to my attention. I have not paid close attention to the anti-warmist websites for a while, since I have satisfied myself that the lies of the warmists have been completely exposed. I see WUWT has ventured into other political issues. Good for them.
      Wow, she really is a beautiful young lady with a mind very much her own. She came to North America at the same age I did, 13. The difference is, I was educated in essentially the British system, whereas she was indoctrinated by the Chicom. It is incredible that she went through that and still believes what she does. She made it abundantly clear that, for her, there is no confusing traditional Chinese values with the totalitarian Communist ideology now rampant, which is an alien ideology imported from German intellectuals via Russia.
      Among other things, the Chicom has dragged traditionally respected Chinese names through the mud. As the young lady said, the Confucius Institute is now an organ of propaganda. Some twenty years ago, as I recall, they built pottery factories in the town famous a thousand years ago for pottery and especially porcelain (think Delft). And to be sure, the pottery bearing its mark were indeed made in that town. But they were crap. And several years later, you didn’t hear about it any more. All they did was ruin the brand.

    2. Ed, I was responding to a post at the NP regarding that article and found that censorship is alive and well at the NP. A poster said that he was not locked down in Ontario, that he could go for a walk, go shopping for food, go to Walmart, and the drug store, and buy beer etc. I asked if could he go to a movie, his favourite restaurant, his favourite pub, visit his kids, hug his grandkids, go to Church, walk in the park, have friends over for BBQ, well, guess what my post was unacceptable it was deleted immediately. I guess the meaning of freedom has changed in this country, if so I want no part of it. Those of you who do then just bow down and take it.

      Recently the Gob & Mash started the “Free Account to read” things, and I thank them as I now move on faster in the morning as I don’t read anything there except headlines and market stats. I do miss a couple of the columnist but not enough to give them any personal info. I could set up a fake, but there really is not enough there to warrant the effort.

      But to continue to read and peruse all these other Lib Advert media and not lose your mind, just kudos for the ability and willingness to share snippets. Though you could save typing and time by just saying “Shree”, we already know it is stupid.

    If it’s significantly hospital acquired, maybe it will burn out quickly when we start treating it properly. China threw everybody with symptoms together, mixing flu sufferers with COVID victims, guaranteeing a high death rate. Italy spread the disease in hospitals because they didn’t know any better. NYC made it illegal to test incoming patients to nursing homes for COVID. Prisons are another place of course, which is a real problem.

    Maybe it will burn out after all once PPE becomes cheap and abundant.

What makes his vid particularly interesting is how he singles out one Terry Guillon — the former head of the Parliamentary Press Gallery — as the PMO person assisting in choosing questions from his former Press Gallery — during Hizzhonor’s daily briefings (this latter tidbit comes by way of Glen McGregor of CTV News).

Also MPs will be allowed to choose employers in their ridings for government benefits whether they need the money or not. What a great way for Liberal MPs to give money to their friends. And the Coast Guard spent over four hundred thousand dollars to haul two rescue boats through the Panama Canal, as Coast Guard employees would not sleep on the boats as there were no sleeping quarters. The bid for hauling the boats was not put out to tender.

  36. And now for something really important.

    I just returned from yet another trip to my house in NE B. C. For the past two days, I saw that a pair of sparrows were building a nest inside the birdhouse I have on a spruce in my back yard. Both of them were busy carrying stuff inside.

    Maybe when I go back, there’ll be the sounds of young nestlings coming from inside….

    1. I repurposed 2 strawberry planters into bird baths for my yard. When I recently cleaned them out some chickadees showed up and had a drink and splashed around in the clean water — they seemed happy!

      Haven’t noticed if they are making use of the 2 birdhouses yet. They love the hulled sunflower seeds in the bird feeder, so do the deer who gallop in from Fish Creek Provincial Park!
