L- Interesting and who was the U.K. Prime Minister and who was Home Secretary who signed off on that ? Would her initials T.M., be involved ? Or was it a case of “Yes, Minister !” bureaucrat going rogue as in the F.B.I. ? Or both?

The new Home Secretary, Priti Patel, an ‘Iron Lady’ in her own right, would likely want to send such person to the Tower of London.
What a shame Patel is doing damn all about the illegal asylum seekers coming across the English Channel,apart from having them picked up and given immigrant status and all the rights that entails.

And that’s one of the main keys.
There is an interesting subsidiary line of enquiry here. When Papa flew back to the US, he was *immediately* sidelined into customs inspection, but IIRC, it was *FBI* agents who tore through his suitcase, *looking for the money*. As he had signed his customs declaration that he was NOT carrying more than $10,000 cash into the country.
This was just as much a perjury trap as the interrogation of LTG. Flynn.
So: Who were those agents? And who *told* them to brace Papa at the airport? And how would that person have known about the money?
The agents at the airport may have known nothing beyond ‘we got a tip’, but the person who ordered them to go, had to have known a lot more… Or someone up that chain knew.
So who in the FBI knew what? and how? Some heavy questions along this line could provide some interesting answers regarding other threads in this, as it is highly unlikely that the FBI was involved at that point. I would bet on the slimy fingers of Brennan, with some assistance of a slush fund at the Pentagon, to provide the money. (Remember that Halper’s funding was through the DoD.)
D C, it wasn’t the FBI, it was meuller/Weismann that tried to set Papa up. Sundance at CTH laid that out some time ago
