    1. I guess it’s all relative, but I thought Stephen Harper was pretty honest. He was not dipping into the till and helping himself to cash for himself and his friends. Canada rejected him, however, (in my view largely because he was not a typical retail politician doing phoney photo ops), but rather he was a serious policy person who worked to make Canada a better place. Unlike Trudeau, he was his own person and not a lackey of the globalist UN.

  10. Interesting dynamic in that press conference. Trump is playing with them. Technically, there were a number of items he said that are actionable in Civil Court as defamation…if they aren’t true. But, as we all know, they are true. So, Comey/Schiff/Pelosi etc. are in a tough position. Do they file a Civil Suit and force Trump to back up his accusations? Nope, they can’t afford the discovery inclusive of a vast wealth of documentation that Barr has yet to make public.

  11. I missed his actual talk. Hopefully, will get back to it later. In the mean time, I am wondering if anyone sees this as a genuine turning point? Like others, my support for Trump hinges on my believe that he is working to get rid of the deep corruption in US politics. Little has happened yet to give me hope. I am guessing that Trump has been too preoccupied with putting out fires, and there are a lot of people blocking serious action. But serious clean-up needs to start right now. Does anyone think it will?

    2. CBC’s coverage of Trump is completely unbalanced. I only watch them at the gym and don’t have audio,so rely on the streaming ticker at the bottom to catch the drift. So today, it was that the “Republican majority” acquitted Trump. I do not recall their highlighting that it was a “Democrat” majority that impeached him. Katie Simpson is the worst.
