Mission accomplished. I think from this point on, the real results will be released without alteration. This was, mainly, an effort to take away the victory lap Sanders would have had, and the momentum that would come with it. Initially, it was an effort to soften the blow on Biden, who until yesterday was still the DNC anointed one. Biden was still polling in the lead in New Hampshire, so they hoped to pick up momentum there. He’s a bit behind in South Carolina, but within reach. And, the super Tuesday listing on the primary had him polling ahead of Sanders with the exception of California (but he was only about 40 behind on delegates in that state).
But, the results were so bad in Iowa, that the DNC is now rethinking their chosen one. I’m guessing they switch to Bloomberg now.
Orson, Bin Biden was only needed to try and impeach Trump, with out Joke running they could not have claimed election interference , not that that fiasco is over, Joke’s use is also over, he’s now toast, and BerKnee is now their take down target, as Trump will mangel that commy if he wins, and the dims know it
Sounds like a “Sundance” theory over at Conservative Treehouse to me….who gets a little too cute IMO. Biden is the only viable candidate of that group because he’s the only one who understands that you can do all kinds of way Left things once in office. But, before that you have to pretend to represent as many people as possible (which means being vague, non-committal and highly aloof). Warren, Sanders, and the rest think you can actually dump your idiotic ideology on everyone and they will accepted it without a problem.
Want to know the real reason Biden got trounced in Iowa. It’s right there in black and white. The turnout was absolutely horrible for the Dem primary. Think about it…why didn’t they show up? This is a highly charged election. Well, here’s your answer. The ones that didn’t show up aren’t voting Democrat this time around so they didn’t bother showing up to vote in the primary. They already made their choice and he’s sitting in the Oval office presently. Those are the true Democrats who see these jackasses spouting how they are going to give a bunch of lazy, non-productive snowflakes free college. The closest thing to their way of thinking is Joe Biden. But, given the choice between old Joe and a guy with a great track record who just negotiated a nice Corn deal, a multi-billion dollar farming deal with China (which truly effects states like….oh, Iowa)….or Old Joe…they’re going with the guy that wins…and wins.
When the puppet handlers started to see this happening (and believe me, the internal polls are showing this in spades) they decided they needed a safety net in the event that Biden had a poor showing early. Enter Mike Bloomberg. Take a real close look at Bloomberg’s campaign ads (which are deluging the air waves right now…and outright lying about Trump’s record while challenging him as someone with financial gravitas). Bloomberg is the fallback candidate. Only he walks the same line that the inexperienced politicians are walking, and it’s the only thing holding him back right now. If he’s shut up about wanting to take your guns and harking on the climate change nonsense, he’s move to the front in no time.
Simple fact. Biden is the only candidate in that whole group who understands that you have to go after the moderates as well as the far left idiots. He sucks at it, which is why a lot of people in Iowa stayed home. A lot of them will be voting Trump…and don’t for a second think that the Dem strategist don’t know this…and it scares the crap out of them.
actually Orson, I am a pretty good analyst an read people well, but I find sundance at CTH to be a damn good analyst, and yes I was parroting his analysis
I agree that he has great analytical skills, and obviously has some solid contacts as well. I’m basically in awe of his organizational skills. But, sometimes I think he doesn’t see the forest for the trees or just sees a forest that isn’t actually there.
BTW, another piece that supports what I said above… There is one other candidate that kind of falls into the category of understanding the necessity to hold back on what “you really want to do.” That would be Tulsi Gabbard. Remarkably, despite polling better than Bloomberg, she wasn’t invited to the CNN debate, but Bloomberg was. The DNC called in a favor, IMO. Clinton, comically, tried to claim she was a Russian asset. In short, getting her out of the picture was important because she bit into Biden’s demographic. Also, her results in Iowa were outright pitiful. Same reason Joe’s were. Her focus included mostly those that are arguably moderates in the Dem party…and those folks didn’t show up to vote…no reason to.
