The 38 million of us huddling along the American border for warmth are about to be set free from our frozen chains. The brutal winters will be a thing of the past, vast areas of the country will now be habitable and suitable for farming. The northern tundra will transform into temperate meadows and new forest. The great lakes will be ice-free and open to navigation year round. The northwest passage will become a practical maritime navigation route, creating new ports, and cities to serve them. Snowbirds from Frobisher Bay and Yellowknife will winter in Vancouver and Halifax for their tropical fix, keeping tourist dollars at home.

Yes, the poles warming may cause some glaciers to start melting. But it would not be a catastrophic sudden rise of the seas by meters as the warmists portray, it will be a gradual process. Surely there is much we can do to alleviate the problem, even as the Dutch have taught us.
