          House yesterday impeached their President: this is the charge.
          Senate to try the charges: convict or not (2/3rds required to convict).

          3 US Presidents have been impeached: Johnson, Clinton, Trump.
          First two were not convicted and so remained President, but they were both impeached.

      2. The house can’t impeach, they can only vote for impeachment, whereafter it goes to the senate (or Supreme Court) for trial and final vote.

    Rush is all impeachment today, Pelosi isn’t forwarding the impeachment papers to the Senate, and isn’t naming managers for this… because she hasn’t heard they’ll give it “her due consideration”.

    1. No, if there is an impeachment, then all the Democrat candidates have to stop campaigning for 4 to 8 weeks while the senate holds a trial, and Trumps team gets to subpoena anyone he wants as a defence witness, and question them under oath about anything related.

      Impeachment is a poison pill for the Dems.

      I don’t even feel bad about this brigading, as we can be sure that all the left thinking people are alerted about these polls when they go up. It seems that leftists usually get off to a big early lead and then watch it disappear as normal people find the polls.

      1. Mitch McConnell’s rules.
        There doesn’t have to be a trial.
        He can read the charges, and go straight to a vote.
        He can dismiss the charges.
        or,
        Mitch can have a trial, it can last as long as Mitch wants it to. I think that’s 6 days a week and these are not 8 hour days, and all Senators must be present each day.

        I’d actually prefer whichever outcome that pisses Pelosi off most.
        Read the charges and dismiss them, or drag the trial out for 4-8 months of calling everyone they can think of to testify.

        Including the Biden’s, Hunter Biden’s wife, and his x-girlfrend the stripper, because “they may know something”.
        Including all the Democrat people that have worked for Ukrainian gas companies in the past 5 years.

        My opinion is that dismissing the bogus charges would be be what brings Pelosi closest to having an aneurysm or stoke.

    2. I just voted no, and the poll disappeared. Left the page and came back the question was there. Checked to see who was winning and it disappeared again. I would say they are not allowing the no votes. It is another rigged poll.

  13. Interesting that there are so many “NO”. Like the CBC and Global, CTV has runs daily negative stories about Trump for years. Usually Global will have 2 per night on their 6 O’clock “news”.

    1. Last night CTV reported on the Impeachment and you’d think Nancy herself wrote the script and edited the video. The casual watcher would think 95% of Americans wanted Trump out. Then they interviewed two experts, both profs from the U of Toronto.

    Any scintilla of credibility the Dems may have had wrt impeachment evaporated when they started calling for Trump’s impeachment five minutes after he was elected.
