  1. Many of those jumps on that Olympic course were of the impossible variety with obstacles placed on uneven ground or water set beyond the jump. One horse refused to have anything to do with such a dangerous course and wouldn’t jump. Smart horse.

  3. This Sunday morning the establshment media are all abuzz about the Kaepernick tryout fiasco. At the last minute the long-haired fellow switched the locations for the tryout, from the Atlanta Falcons camp to some out-of-the-way high school. Some 25 NFL team-scouts showed up at the Falcons camp, but only 6 showed up at the high school. What happened was that Kaepernick had a long list of “preconditions” the NFL had to follow before Kaepernick would grace the tryout-field with his presence.

    What is more interesting, though, was one of the “preconditions “. NFL rules say that all single-player tryouts must be private. But Kaepernick insisted that a NIKE ad team be allowed to photo-shoot a commercial of him trying out. A reminder of how “woke” NIKE truly is, and why the wretched corporation should be boycotted.

    1. When my kids were young, and would not listen at times. In the news were articles about NIKE sweatshops. I would always tell them I knew a man with a NIKE sweat shop in his basement and that is where they were going to end up working 18-20 hrs a day. Bent over a NIKE running shoe in bad light and half starved and making shoes. Naw I would never do that but they weren’t so sure.

  4. Blackie’s CBC is excited this morning about Ron Maclean’s explanation of the firing of Cherry. Maclean is wonderful. And the CBC interviewed people in downtown Toronto to support that view, because what people in diverse Toronto think is all that matters. Blackie’s propaganda network is also excited about Trump losing another governor’s election in the States. The CBC reminds us that Trump is Hitler. And its the transgender issue at the Sunday Toronto Star. Major story on a man from California who married a woman at the Walpole Indian Reserve in Ontario. He works full time promoting dead indian languages at taxpayer expense. He and his wife explain how he has gone through transgender surgery to become a woman at taxpayer expense. Editorial that Harper and Ford has caused the gun violence in diverse Toronto. We need a nation wide handgun ban. Star is excited that a Nazi rock in space has been renamed. Various Trudeau is wonderful stories, the Liberal Party is wonderful, Canadians are racist bastards.

  5. Blackie’s CTV is excited that a former Liberal cabinet minister and Montreal mayor, has stated that western provinces are just jealous of Quebec’s dominance in the Canadian federation. Blackie’s CTV is also excited that after Great Leader successfully trashed Scheer about abortion, abortion groups are expecting their hero to expand abortion services in Canada. What a great feel good story this Winter Solstice Holiday Season. And of course the usual Trump is Hitler coverage on Blackie’s private news network.

    1. I heard from a good source OJ that the NAZI Kenney is going begin castrating Frenchmen. He has an elaborate plan with something to do with Maple Syrup and a wild hog trap. And angry NAZI Albertan cowboys and burdizzo’s. Maybe it will become a popular sport at the NFR or Calgary Stampede. NAZI’s everywhere in Alberta this AM.   6. Ron MacLean’s speech last night was a bunch of verbal methane sprinkled with fecal chunks. The man couldn’t speak clearly to get his neck out of a noose.

    1. B., MacLan’s “speech” on Saturday evening is being hammered on social media. Not that the CBC and other corporate cartel members would mention the huge backlash against him.

      His weasel words fell flat as he tried to obfuscate and explain his boorish behavior.

      “Don Cherry is my friend,” he profused. Ya sure he is ron. You dont qualify as a friend.

      For decades you put words in DC’s mouth. Explained to Canadians what it is Cherry is articulating but in his time of greatest need you couldn’t find it in yourself to proffer up a simple explanation of two (2) words.

      Canadians have long suspected that you were the quintessential cbc liberal. Someone nobody could trust to do the right thing and stand by a ‘best friend’ who stood by you in the past. You just provided proof…in spades

        1. Speaking of moving a body, Don Cherry’s instructions for his own funeral probably include asking McLean to be a pallbearer. If that is so, the Coach, being loyal to his friend, probably won’t change those instructions.

      2. On Ezra Levant’s show last Thursday, he said that Don Cherry bailed out and saved MacLean’s bacon not once but twice with the CBC brass. He didn’t, however, say what that was about though.

  7. Ron MacLean is the ideal example of what passes for a modern day Canadian. Whatever has to be said to get you thru to the next handout/payday. Sorry but if I am Don Cherry I won’t be answering the phone when his name pops up on the screen. The whole thing suggests to me that MacLean did a calculation that told him that riding on Cherry’s coat tails was coming to an end in any event as Don passes 85 years old. No future with Don so best to throw him under the bus.

    The honorable thing to have been done was a sign off broadcast with Cherry present. But that would have been potentially to embarrassing as who knows what Cherry might say. At a minimum they could have shown how much the man had done not just for vets but also for the game. I have always admired the people in hockey but this episode has seriously brought my respect down. My only hope is that many NHL players past and present will not participate in shows with the likes of MacLean and those that support him.

    1. It is all irrelevant. The teenager was 17 and legal.

      Plus I thought it was UK policy to prostitute 13 year olds and jail people who complain about the justice system doing nothing about it. Silly me, that only applies to Pakistani pimps.

    It appears that he was trading messages with a 13-year-old girl in the middle of the night — perfectly OK in Pakistan but apparently a no-no in Britain. The good doctor is happily practicing in New Brunswick these days, but there could be a possibility that he could lose his valued licence here. But then again there’s always downtown Toronto that would be happy to use his services.

      Best performance I’ve seen was on her husbands’ show “Spectacle” where she was interviewed by Elton John. It wouldn’t have been fair for Elvis to interview his own wife. Any reason to get Elton on. I miss Spectacle, that was a good show.

Idiots could come up with is nodding yes and smiling while the former Montreal mayor insulted the west and said Frogville receives hardly any equalization from Alberta.So was I wrong?

  13. And now Blackie’s Political Scrum on the CBC. This morning the Unifor journalists explained that the Conservatives need to be more like the Liberals, who are wonderful. They need to find a leader who will embrace homosexual sex, abortion, global warming scams, and give free stuff to Toronto. Trudeau is more wonderful now than he was even before the election, because he is so subdued and wise. The Bloc leader is wonderful because he opposes pipelines and wants to fight global warming. Apparently its a lot warmer in Quebec than it is in Ontario right now. NDP leader is wonderful, but he should not be too pushy towards Trudeau, who is wonderful. Jason Kenney is evil.

    1. Francophones? The only thing he said about francophones was that they all wore visors 20 years ago. Someone did a count and they were way above everyone else as a percentage. All he did was point out that the French dressed like girls, for the time. Any connotations were in the head of the listener.

He cannot stand comparison to any good person, anywhere, and needs to promote depravity everywhere so he can convince himself he isn’t evil or that it doesn’t matter. There is no good thought or deed any person has or does, no matter how trivial, that does not stand as a rebuke to Soros’ degenerate moral character.

    We who did not live through what he saw as a teenager under the Nazis cannot know how we would have measured up to the moral challenge it presented, but Soros did, so he knows people who did the right thing though they knew they would suffer for that, worse than most. and he knows what he did instead.

    She has that Liberal sense of entitlement, loves flying, and loves to spend money. She’s a natural fit for team Trudeau.

    Plus it would piss off Albertans, but play well to the Toronto crowd.

  22. Best suggestion I heard this weekend is to fire Babcock and replace him with Don Cherry as coach of the Maple Leafs. The media would have to attend a press conference every day and let Don do his thing. Start of every presser: Can you people in the back hear me?
