    1. The Cone of Silence must be maintained.

      She’s a scapegoat.

She’s also a liar when she said that she didn’t know how significant the story was. If everyone at the station is talking about it, making copies of it, it’s creating a buzz for the whole day and she doesn’t do some research into who Epstein was, she is crying crocodile tears.

Or she is a midwit who lost her job as a producer because she can’t tell what good reporting is and not a clue on what to do with it.

    2. I’ll take her at her word. She was probably just doing her job. She doesn’t strike me as someone on a mission.

Her bosses tho are on a mission and the small minds are both sending a message to staff and covering their ass.

Minions pay the price. If this story continues to have legs then those above might get caught up. Not likely those at the top

    1. Clicking the link to that Twitter and you’ll see the comment, “Looks like someone drilled a tad too deep” suggesting they were re-drilling the holes for the goalpost mounts and broke into a source of dirty (rusty?) water under the ice.

      1. Probably drilled into the cooling lines. The ice plant super-cools a fluid (in much simpler days, a saturated salt water) to a temperature below freezing, then pumps it out around the base of the rink. The water around the lines freezes, then stays frozen because of the super-cooled refrigerant. The result – constantly freezing from below, melting on top (where the temperature is above zero).

A goalie post hole drilled into one of the cooling lines would result in the picture, and cause a risk of the rest of the ice thawing (because it’s no longer cooled from below).

      1. – Answering on Jeff’s behalf (I don’t even know him) – that’s your business, why?

    1. “You might eventually need civil disobedience and you would have to appeal to the international community.”

The international community? Who, the Chinese?

No. You appeal to the one man who can give Alberta her freedom and destroy the French Canadian mafia state once and for all—Donald John Trump.

Tell him that if he sends troops north to secure Canada’s oil for the United States, not one Albertan will greet them as anything but liberators.

He will understand already that Justin will be unable to resist North American unification. I doubt even Justin will care to be the last to die for overpriced cheese and French on cereal boxes. Few Canadians in uniform will be.

The international community will write strongly worded letters condemning the occupation of Canada. The globalist press will go berserk for a few days. Trump will tell them to get over it and that will be that.

      1. As an American, I would support this. We could carve up a couple provinces into like ten states, and then have a conservative lock on the Senate for a century.

        1. Sorry Sid but 63% of Canadians vote the socialist line and are almost as stupid as CA voters. Politically not much of a gain for a country already being overwhelmed by socialism.

      2. Oh yes! The Strongly worded letters – I am quaking in my boots!
But seriously, I totally agree with “A Canadian” – it is time for Alberta and Saskatchewan to look south. Alberta’s first immigrants were from the States and it has been said, that people from Minnesota moved to Saskatchewan because Minnesota was not cold enough!
And I read the clip posted by “Jeff”. Quebec has been a “pimple on Canada’s bum” for the last 50 years with all of their blackmail threats to leave Confederation. I truly think that Alberta and Saskatchewan will be the first to go after some ineffectual bargaining with the Laurentian Elite.

        1. And the probelm with all of that is you will never get more than maybe ~30% or less agreeing to join with the US.

Lets build that FIREWALL. If for no other reason, than those 4 pillars become Pillars WE OWN…not those Eastern Bastards in Uppity – Lowlife Canada and in doing so we regain some measure of control over OUR Monies….and Destiny.

    2. I’ve said on this blog for years, it’s not the politics that are wrong in Canada it’s the philosophy.

You can’t fix it by electing another party that is exactly like the one you just threw out.

L- So buyers in the U.S. and China are interested, some proxy buyers and the old evil of absentee, foreign
landowners will run the prairie farms. Rumours abound that has already begun on a smaller scale.
Canada, as a post-nation state will be achieved.

The family farm is the last cohesive community keeping us
from becoming the chaotic, crime ridden, 3rd world, which parts of our major cities have become.

      Brilliant!

  2. “Here’s an update on the cause of vaping illnesses and deaths. It looks to be a good source, as it’s by someone in the vape biz and they were just as concerned as everyone else. Nothing like having your business destroyed over something you are not doing.

It seems we got it worked out correctly here, except for identifying the exact harmful additive. This update identifies the harmful additive.

    1. New York State Governor Cuomo (Fredo Cuomo’s brother) is going hard against all vaping, including nicotine vaping. Even though the research and science is showing that the problem is CANNABIS vaping.

Why? Cuomo and New York State are addicted to that sweet, sweet Cigarette tax money. Those suckers are paying $10 a pack in taxes. Lose that money, and there is a big hole in their budget. They are even willing to kill fat black men to keep their monopoly. It isn’t public safety, it is tax revenue, and give-aways to keep getting reelected.

How many other state governors will follow the same reasoning to protect their cigarette tax funding?

  3. The Democrat impeachment Inquiry has every Female under-secretary to a hold-over Ambassador clustering in a Witch group think…. They own the policy…..It is their policy, how dare Trump want to go in another direction…They have heard from each other & they know everything…

They are the SAME Witches from the 16th Century, brewing up Pelosi’s evil fraudulent concoction..

When it fits you own it:

  4. Blackie’s CBC had a heartwarming interview with a university professor in Winnipeg, who stated that there should be major cutbacks in the number of police in the city. She explained that people should not be arrested for pissing in the street, selling and using drugs in the street, etc. People just need more free stuff.

    1. I do not understand the mindset of people who only consider personal rights with no regards for the equal importance of personal responsibility. In fact, there seems to be no public discourse on the topic at all. It is the concepts of personal responsibility and honor that make a lawful and respectful society and stronger families. Two things the left increasingly demonstrates they don’t seem to want.

We are raising entire free stuff generations who are told they are entitled to their rights. And then in turn, they demonstrate that personal responsibilities are only for others. Career street people and Antifa losers are two primo examples of this mindset. Leftists in general tend to display this same stunted view of the world.

Eliminating sensible laws to falsely lower crime statistics is as liberal as it gets.

  5. Blackie’s media reported a job loss of 1800 jobs for Oct. What they didn’t mention was that Canada lost over sixteen thousand full time jobs, that were offset by increases in part time jobs and the public sector.

    1. OJ, jump that number up to over 28 thousand and you are getting close. Statscan math and real math are two completely different things.

  6. Blackie’s CBC interviewed people in downtown Toronto about Remembrance Day. Because only the views of people in downtown Toronto matter. One old socialist woman stated that the ceremonies glorified war. And people wonder why Toronto voted Liberal. Meanwhile over fifty unions will be demonstrating in Toronto this Remembrance Day weekend about evil Doug Ford.

    1. This report is much the same in the USA and all grain growing areas globally in both Hemispheres. And NASA says next solar cycle will be the coldest in 200 years. Yet all we hear is Global Warming Horseshit. I guess when the UN calls for Food Aid to Africa, they should be told to FO. Expect food inflation globally and food riots and turmoil. And Trudeau will ship grains to them just like Pierre kept Communist China alive in their famine under Chairman Mao. Sold China grains on credit and wrote it all off against the Canadian Taxpayer.

      1. Another one Nancy. Chinese Hyperinflation in food. Because of pork shortages. Ah what the heck do we care if 1.4B Chinese have empty bellies.
This is how empires fall. This is why we had the French Revolution and the Guillotine was invented. Read history. When Marie made the famous quote. “Let Them Eat Cake” she was not referring to German Black Forest Cake.
Cake in her day in France referred to the sweepings off the Millers floor. France was in the grip of the Maunder Minimum and had severe grain shortages and crop failures.
        https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/pork-hyperinflation-sends-chinese-consumer-prices-soaring-most-7-years

          1. I ain’t buying that Nancy. I will find my older source. And get back to you. Don’t hold your breath my filing system is chaos. But anyway the French Revolution one of the root causes was hungry folks. And arrogant Elite ad high taxes.

The chicoms might be thinking ‘yellow cake’……

Ok ok I’m house bound today. To miserable to be out there or I’m just pea hearted…

I’m thinking about putting on the chefs apron and cooking up something. Maybe

          1. I am thinking about slow cooking a big old slab of corned beef, and boiling up some cabbage. Or maybe my famous North Carolina BBQ Ribs. Hmmmm. Or a big old smoked brisket smoked all day at low temp.

  7. Just talked to my friend, neighbor figures he has about 350,000$ laying out on the ground covered in snow.Combining in the spring it looks like.

    1. Problem is smaller harvest and low quality. Cost of production this year will bankrupt a lot of family farms.

    2. Their examples are Obama, JFK and Laurier.

It is still not clear Barack Hussein was ever a Christian at all.

Jack and Wilfrid adhered to the Church of Rome because that’s what their tribes do. They knew, or should have known, that since late antiquity the Church of Rome has been a racket and a safe space for homosexual and pedophile predators. They played along because to do otherwise would cost votes. Their professed faith didn’t affect how they did their jobs because they didn’t actually believe in much of it.

Not even the Roman hierarchy do when it counts (one day we’ll find out how much the Church has paid for abortions of the children of clergy in Canada alone).

Andy, poor fool, appears to actually believe in the sanctity of innocent human life.

The median voter has never been a Christian anywhere in the Dominion except in the rural West. Rural Alberta voted for Bible Bill because he was a Christian. In Calgary and Edmonton, all people wanted was that $25 a month.

My old neighbor heard that speech from Bible Bill from the back of a wagon when he was a kid.

  8. Here is a great gift idea for your friends and relatives in Toronto. You can get a “Trudeau Is My Canadian Boyfriend” calendar at Amazon.

What the hell does catherine dorions think? A serious person doesn’t dress like that.

If only she knew…she’s an embarrassment to herself.

        1. Personally I’ve never heard of her until now. She may not appeal nor be acceptable to our individual tastes in what we think politicians should be, however you won’t believe her resumé, nor her lifestyle. She is actually quite accomplished.

As a published author she defends polyamory, which she herself practices. The rest of what she wrote is in the link provided. It reads like something out of a Playboy or Penthouse promotional.

While she grew up in Quebec City her ancestry is deeply rooted in North America and France. In the South Western suburb of greater Montreal there is a town named Dorion which amalgamated with Vaudreuil aka Vaudreuil-Dorion.

(She’s all legs — the lucky girl!!)

          https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_Dorion

          1. Polyamory. The best way for a man to die. Shot in the back by a jealous husband as you try to scramble over your paramours balcony.
            There is a story here.

    1. When DIRTY COPS abound in the highest echelons of the FBI (and 17 Intelligence Agencies) … it is quite understandable that a nearby Baltimore PD would include some DIRTY COPS. Comey, et.al. have given tacit permission for all other cops to ABUSE their POWER.

      1. Baltimore’s problems predate even the existence of the FBI. Local cops were far worse far before top cops were.

  9. Jeff I read the interview right up till Dave suggested there was some mileage to be made by starting a new federal party.
Does “Reform” ring a bell? Or Socerd, CCF or NDP. Why would be spend a dime repeating history?
The divide in this country is east/west! Please understand this.

  10. You see, Donald Trump cannot exercise executive privilege or action because DeMarxists and such sycophants don’t think he should be in office. Therefore his opinions are lies and others’ opinions of his opinions are evidence of impeachable crimes.

Read it and weep for the American body politic as the administrative state coup frames POTUS – or laugh at the “evidence.”

“A recent WaPo piece exposes the rot behind the impeachment press.” Scratch a Dem, find a conniving power lusting liar.

“Trump is correct that the public does not support this Democrat farce. And as noted above, there is no incriminating information. The transcript is what it is, and the ugly people swirling around have been forced to concede that the transcript is fundamentally accurate, that Trump never mentioned a quid pro quo, and that to the extent they made contrary claims, they have no first hand or even second hand knowledge (something true for whistleblower Ciaramella too).”

When it comes to the following three paragraphs, I’ve already discussed what Sondland said. Neither his testimony nor his declaration reveal a quid pro quo. Instead, he was engaged in a weaselly attempt to ingratiate himself with the Democrats, without going so far as to tell a lie. It means nothing, and any spin the WaPo reporters put on it to the contrary is a lie.”

    1. “Neither his testimony nor his declaration reveal a quid pro quo.”

They and the other evidence quite definitively do.
