  1. Laura must take extra pleasure in this story. Remember she took on the NBA’s biggest star after he took shots at Pres Trump and she told him to “shut up and dribble”. That blew up into a huge story and she ended up apologizing, likely forced and Lebron and other stars (and a couple of coaches) got on their high horse and swore they’d NEVER shut up about social injustices.
    Liars!

  2. “But the ChiComs have shown everybody what they really are. They are dictatorial. They will shut down all disent and they will do it with violence if they have to. And that is what they really are, despite comments by Biden and Bloomberg. These guys are out there saying they’re not dictators. Remember what Bloomberg said in the sound bite we had last week? That the president of China has to serve his constituents, or he won’t survive? Some of the most outrageous ignorance I’ve ever heard.”

  3. Jason Whitlock says it’s all about NIKE … and other … shoe/apparel contracts. Selling out American-style Honk Kong Freedom and Liberty … for Communist China “market penetration”. The Globalist corporations MUST be STOPPED from ruining America in pursuit of maximum profit. China will HANG every one of these NBA whores with the shoelaces NIKE sells to China.

  4. Steve Kerr, outspoken and fearless social justice warrier, when asked to comment on one the most brutal totalitarian regimes to ever exist … drops the ball.

Kerr can forever look back and know that when his courage was truly tested, he didn’t have it.

  5. “To know who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize !” attributed to Voltaire

Hollywood, Entertainment sports, the American cultural industries, whose members in previous generations defended liberty serving in World Wars, in the Korean War and the Cold War. Now they bow in supplication to the foreign tyrants of the Communist Party of China?

And this for 30 pieces of silver… pathetic.

Those who bow to China, only increase it’s growing appetite for regional hegemony by way using military and trade intimidation.
If or when, Hong Kong’s Common-Law British tradition is crushed, the financial implications will increase political instability within China.
From there predictions become foggy, hopefully not foreshadowing the fog of war.

  6. Basketball and China seem like a perfect fit — they both have their own form of March Madness.

  7. China is fascist, not communist. Not only is the government making specifically nationalist statements to back serious abuse of human rights, suppressing minority cultural and racial groups and favouring Han Chinese, but their economy now closely matches the fascist/ Nazi policies of control by heavy regulation of all business not directly government-owned.

  8. Of course they are. The Chinese have money. Money stolen from ordinary Americans who used to be able to afford to attend basketball games.

  9. nba?
    communists?
do a search on the travels of one dennis rodman.
who apparently went on to enjoy a long period of bankruptcy or some such.

p.s. I have never seen a single pro basketball game. not even a single inning, period, quarter or whatever its called.

  10. The NBA is stabig itself in the foot their looking just looking to get added to the boycott list
