Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I hope the article is correct and I hope it will discourage Aladdin from another gun grab. But at the same time … if the article is correct it also suggests that Canadian publik in general isn’t terminally ocularlly penetrated when it comes to guns, and that I find hard to believe. Still, will take the good news where I can find it.
P.S. The how to buy AR-15 in Alabama side story is Michael Moore type BS.
Today, I commented on the National Post online edition on the topic of Trudeau’s gun control proposals A few hours later, I checked back and my comment was gone. Normally, when a comment is deleted from a NP story, the writer simply has to go to his or her account on the list of comments, and any comment that has been deleted will by marked by a bold lettered headline that says, ”Comment Deleted.” That wasn’t the case today, the comment was simply gone. I also noticed some of the comments saying that ”hundreds of comments are gone.”
I really doubt the sincerity of the National Post when claiming it is a ”Conservative” paper. I see a lot of comments being deleted, and the NP does protect Trudeau.
A corrupt media complicit in accepting $600 million in graft to tell the hoi poloi what they “need to hear”.

Where’s Kate and what has happened to SDA?
We’re in the middle of the most important election campaign in Canadian history and this once proud conservative blog is on holidays.
Why don’t you go to Reader Tips and ask her directly.
Maybe you haven’t noticed but so is most of the country. Even the journos are complaining that this election sucks.
Larry don’t be a dick man!!!…kate has a life, and you can go to many different out lets to git yer fix
“My God, Gerry, I have no policies at all, and now this blackface thing. What am I gonna do?”
“Guns, my man. Go after the guns. And take more selfies. I dunno, promise some goodies. You don’t have to deliver.”
“That’s right. I don’t have to do anything, just show up.”
“Exactly. We’ll give you the speeches, just show up.”
” – But DON’T show-up for the debates! They’ll tear you a new one, remind all the viewers of your tax-fetish, love for Chinese dictators and terrorists and your Indian vacation, make you look like the clueless mumbling twit you actually are!”
Give me a call Mr. Trudeau when you start jailing gang bangers who murder people for life without parole , or, execute them. Canada does not have any gun problem we have a stupid people problem.
Yup, you just know you’re doing something right when John Tory has your back.
Jamie , he was the first on my mind when I read guns, the Kristian tory Tory
John Tory..?

Yep that MEAN ole AR-15. The Semi Auto Rifle that uses 5.56 cal ammo…’bout what a small automatic pistol would and does. Yet this is what is considered an Assault Rifle – A Total Croc of Liberal Bullshit. As per the vid I watched, If I use a 9 Iron and smash some guys head in – that would make that it an “Assault 9 Iron”. Better Ban those too huh..??
But a 30.06 or a .308, well gosh, those are also both Semi Automatice Rifles..but they would neverkill a human….right.?
Trouble is most Canadians have been conditioned – brainwashed on anything to do with weaponry – just look at our 50 year history of Mostly Liberal Govt vis a vis the Military.
Explains much. Nice to see a poll showing maybe the tide is turning.
The 5.56 is not to be taken lightly, Steakman – it’s the main battle rifle of a whole lot of countries, and you can read about the FBI firefight in Miami in 1986 to see how well several agents with .357 revolvers fared against one guy armed with a Ruger Mini-14 – the same rifle Marc Lepine used at the Polytechnique, lest we forget. The difference is much higher muzzle velocity than any pistol, high enough to cause hydrostatic shock – and because of the higher velocity, much higher muzzle energy as well.
And of course, all that notwithstanding, they’ve been used in ONE WHOLE CRIME in Canada! What did Bill Bliar say? – “I believe there’s no place for these particular weapons in our society”. Who died and made you the arbiter of Canadian society, Bill? And who CARES what you believe? Just like one of Dim Campbell’s favourite sayings (while fluttering her eyelashes, of course) – “Well, I don’t think…” Yeah Kim, we noticed – and that’s the problem.
smoke and mirrors?
show me where the mirrors are so I can shoot them all out.
