I used to like David Drum. He is completely out to lunch in his assessment of Trump. I am not sure if he just lost his ability to analyse fairly, or if he has a personal vendetta against Trump. I feel like both sides are feeling each other out at this point and trying to assess what portions of the military and the police might be inclined to take their side in any showdown. The globalists have managed to conceal their real agenda to the extent that many don’t realize they are actually a revolutionary movement trying to overthrow the established order. Some in the media have been persuaded that it’s the other way round, that they are the established order and Trump is trying to overthrow them. That may be de facto the case but in historical terms it is not valid. But the final stages of this will come soon, and it will get messy. Trump won’t just resign Nixon style, he will fight back. And he will have a lot of heavily armed citizens on his side if he does. The question is, will the U.S. armed forces take sides and on what basis?
This could be a ways off yet, if Trump wins in 2020, it could come to pass around 2022-23 when the question will shift to, who if anyone can extend Trump’s agenda? (and it will be significant how much of the promises made will be kept by then). If Trump loses in 2020 then I foresee big trouble in 2021 if any portions of the military decide to make a stand to prevent socialist collapse of the U.S. economy which could become a very real possibility the way some of the leading candidates are talking. They are lunatics who are quite ready to shut down the economy to force people into a socialist system, and I can’t see liberty-loving Americans sitting back and taking that as readily as Canadians have done. I tried to fight back but you find you are fighting in a vacuum and a lot of big talkers just disappear into the night because they are all talk, no action.

I used to like David Drum. He is completely out to lunch in his assessment of Trump. I am not sure if he just lost his ability to analyse fairly, or if he has a personal vendetta against Trump. Mind you, in the US, if you want work as a journalist, you are required to hate Trump. Maybe that’s it. There is no excuse for the CBC not giving a balanced analysis, but increasingly, it’s expected.
Trump’s “treason” is against the deep state, not the American constitution.
My only beef with Trump is that he isn’t going fast enough and may run out of time before doing what no other electable person could even contemplate doing. If Trump loses in 2020, America is basically finished. If he survives to serve a second term, the same problem is just shifted ahead to 2024.
Sooner or later there is going to be a full-scale confrontation between the remaining patriots loyal to the constitution, and the forces of the deep state. I feel like both sides are feeling each other out at this point and trying to assess what portions of the military and the police might be inclined to take their side in any showdown. The globalists have managed to conceal their real agenda to the extent that many don’t realize they are actually a revolutionary movement trying to overthrow the established order. Some in the media have been persuaded that it’s the other way round, that they are the established order and Trump is trying to overthrow them. That may be de facto the case but in historical terms it is not valid. But the final stages of this will come soon, and it will get messy. Trump won’t just resign Nixon style, he will fight back. And he will have a lot of heavily armed citizens on his side if he does. The question is, will the U.S. armed forces take sides and on what basis?
This could be a ways off yet, if Trump wins in 2020, it could come to pass around 2022-23 when the question will shift to, who if anyone can extend Trump’s agenda? (and it will be significant how much of the promises made will be kept by then). If Trump loses in 2020 then I foresee big trouble in 2021 if any portions of the military decide to make a stand to prevent socialist collapse of the U.S. economy which could become a very real possibility the way some of the leading candidates are talking. They are lunatics who are quite ready to shut down the economy to force people into a socialist system, and I can’t see liberty-loving Americans sitting back and taking that as readily as Canadians have done. I tried to fight back but you find you are fighting in a vacuum and a lot of big talkers just disappear into the night because they are all talk, no action.
