It’s worse than that. I suggest that what Democrats – leftists, socialists, collectivists – REALLY want is their free labour (i.e., their slaves) back.

Slavery has been ubiquitous throughout human history. In other words, it’s normative human behaviour.
To NOT have slavery as part of a society is the exception. That the U.S. actually banned slavery for about 60 years is mind-boggling, not because it was the U.S., but because slavery is normative human behaviour.
Once Marx’ income tax was introduced into the U.S., slavery was reinstituted but this time in a different form. It wasn’t just one people. It was virtually everyone except the oligarchic class in Washington, DC.
The oligarchy in Washington, DC, likes its slaves. It doesn’t care whom they are. That’s why they like open borders because they can bring in millions of people from all over the world to be their slaves.
By the way, that’s why Democrats and leftists like “birthright” citizenship in the U.S. because it attracts people throughout the world to their plantation like fish to a worm on a fishing hook.
For the oligarchs in Washington, DC, things will get back to their normal of being slave-owners once Donald Trump is gone.
I have noted that in all socialist countries the permanent underclass is the bulk of the population. The police and military enjoy some perks, and the ‘government’ are all fat and rich and … oddly …. have somehow lost their compassion for the little guy and their concern for a cleaner planet .. etc.
What blows me away is how every-so-often a populace actually buys into this abomination of humanity.

A slightly different emphasis on a syllable, or two if one wants to be ornery , plus Paul Martin the Younger was Son of Paul Martin Sr.; one time Liberal Cabinet Minister and a Candidate for Prime Minister.
Anyways the information supplied by the future Professor of the Brock University, as best I can remember is the % of the approximately One Blllion Chinese Citizens who would immediately emigrate was Thrity (30) Percent. The Population of Canada at the time was around Thirty (30) Million making the number of Chinese Immigrant at Three Hundred (300) million or ten times Canada’s Citizens. The USA immigration problem has many bad objectives….YES Democrats want Illegal Aliens as captive slaves…The Republican Corporations want cheap labor ( Selling Price is NOT set by labor costs, they get the MAX of what ever the consumer will pay)…The Corporations/Farmers pocket the savings….
The LAWs of Congress(ICE) have not been enforced. The taking of DNA samples provides a multitude of simple identification verification…The old methods are labor intensive / costly & prone to error

2.DNA testing provides Application verification & tracking….Family Parentage

I think part of this is a psychological and indeed practical dependence of the Democrats on having an underclass as a source of votes and meaning.
Without an underclass to cater to and to vote for them they’ll lose their mission of being the good guys for somebody, and they’ll have to strengthen their appeal with regular Americans. It’s not in their (blue) blood.
