Vivian Krause is asking some challenging questions about why certain U.S. funded charities in Canada don’t have to provide full historical disclosures:
Why did Prime Minister Justin Trudeau order his revenue minister to stop the Canada Revenue Agency from auditing politically active charities? Was it to protect his best friend and former principal secretary, Gerald Butts?
Those are just two of the many questions asked by Vivian Krause during a sold out Calgary Chamber of Commerce luncheon Wednesday at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel and during a scrum with reporters afterwards.
Mark Bonokoski at the Toronto Sun website has a story on Groper’s friends. And the Globe and Mail is excited that Big Chief Justin is giving one hundred and fifty million dollars to an indian tribe out west, to settle a one hundred year old claim on cows. Nothing to do with the election of course.
They’re only challenging if you’re paid to lie for the Libranos. For anybody else, they’re the easiest questions in the world.

I can appreciate that channelling the money of your foreign masters to activists is great politics. But how do I, as victim of oppression, get in on this gravy train?
Krause has done some investigation into these foreign masters, but she seems to get side-tracked with the american connection. Maybe the anti-americanism will play better in the eastern canadian media, so she is going for that angle??
However, the american money against Alberta/Sask oil is not the primary problem. The Saudis, in particular, are funneling a lot of money into the anti-alberta crusade, and also to liberal coffers. The russians are not far behind, followed by almost every other major player whose market share is threatened should America never again need oil from outside North America.
So, don’t get blinded by the american angle here, there is a much larger network in behind.
If you want to get in on the gravy train, start by looking where the saudi money is flowing….
It’s not just about America ever needing to import oil again. It’s about keeping Alberta from claiming non-North American oil demand in Asia and Europe. Canadian politicians that are colluding with foreign interests to prevent our accessing other markets is in my opinion acts of treason against the confederation.
Sorry Martin, this really has nothing to do with Canada other than it is us who have the oil. The aim, as it always has been with the left, it is to weaken and/or eventually destroy the US. This is why the american angle, i.e. it is the americans who want to shut us down, is so wrong.
Ten years ago the left thought they had it, they thought they’d be able to isolate the US, make its energy so damn expensive that the economy would collapse. The left even had a willing accomplice with obama as president. They thought they’d be able to shut off alberta oil, they’d worked hard to do so, from every angle. They succeeded.
But they didn’t count on fracking. That shocked the hell out of them. However, they still need to kill alberta. Fracking and alberta would gurantee the US doesn’t become dependent on non NA oil again.

I beg to differ Frenchie. It’s ok I get your side of the argument and it has some merit. BUT. If LNG exports from NA is looked at historically Canada actually had a lead on the U.S. if LNG Facilities got approved for the West Coast in 2012-2013 timeframe. That of course didn’t happen and the U.S. not only took the lead but have continued to build and expand LNG export capacity while Canada remains years away from realizing any LNG exports. So even if the crazy enviros are freely taking Canada’s Energy industry down they have had no effect on stopping the U.S. energy juggernaut that’s aggressively pursuing more export market share. I think that lack of effort on stopping expanding U.S. export capacity even during the Obama days is no accident and now Canadian oil and gas is “at the end of the line” making it dirt cheap to buy to the only market we’re connected to: the U.S. The U.S. benefits tremendously from Canada’s oil and gas remaining landlocked from selling growing production at high prices and buying Canadian production at a deep discount. Why wouldn’t such interests encourage permanently land locking Canadian oil and gas? It’s not just crazy enviros loving Canada’s FUBAR’d energy biz. Add Saudi and Russian money to the supporting cast too.
Another indication that only one viewpoint is allowed in Junior’s Canada. Pity.
This is actually an issue that I’d characterize as something that might actually make me go and vote this coming fall; does anybody know if Andrew Scheer has a position on this?
