Trudeau and Freeland keep lecturing our American friends and others on gender issues, climate change etc.

That’s one reason NAFTA renegotiations were difficult.

Can’t we let other countries manage their internal affairs and have a foreign policy grounded on CANADA’S INTERESTS?

“I’m very concerned with the situation around the backsliding of women’s rights that we’re seeing,” said @JustinTrudeau
. He said issue of abortion will come up in discussion with @VP Mike Pence tomorrow, but focus will be mostly on NAFTA

    1. It would seem the bloodlust continues. 60 million babies killed in America since R v W and climbing, Canada is as usual at 10 % of that. Sick societies that want to kill their future generations.

    2. How anyone can be surprised that team Sockmonkey still can’t get a grasp on the foreign affairs file, especially after that raving success of the visit to India is baffling.
All I can say is, thats just what they do.
Ready to use a meeting about promoting trade to lecture the US (our ally) on social policy, again.
The apple did not fall far from the tree.

  2. Holy shit !!

That’s all I got. I’ve never seen anything like that … up close and CRAZY! However … if one of their Subaru Outbacks went fully airborne and dumped upside down 3-1/2 miles away … then … I would give their video some “likes”

      1. It appears to me that there is a BIG difference between yahoos who chase storms for Instagram “likes” vs legitimate researchers who chase storms for experimental purposes, gathering data, for legitimate scientific research. This bunch sounded a bit like the former … whooping it up as they chased a funnel that could have consumed them had it decided to change direction. I don’t wish ill on anyone … but if you jump off high buildings, cliff edges, waterfalls, et.al. then you should calculate the cost … and what could possibly go wrong … and KILL you.

    1. So, all you folk who live in such “interesting” locales, I have a question:

Is it mere coincidence that a lot of the footage of these beasties (the tornadoes, that is), depicts them traveling along or very close to roads, as opposed to randomly wandering all over the place. Most of this activity seems to happen in “Summer”.

Roads, especially the bitumen-surfaced ones, absorb a lot of sunlight and re-radiate updraft-causing heat in Summer.

      Is there a connection?

      1. Probably it is coincidence, since a chaser can’t chase if there isn’t a road; and most roads in the USA are paved. I’ve seen what an F5/EF5 can do. Those can strip a tree of leaves and its bark and the ground of grass or pavement. This year is a lot like 1974 was, by the way, weather wise.

Tornadoes, in particular, need strong convection, which means cold air lifting warmer air as well as cold air aloft and strong wind sheer that changes direction with height above the ground. That’s the opposite of hurricanes, which need an existing low pressure area near the surface or middle levels, water at depth of at least 77F/25C temperature, a high pressure area above it and little wind sheer.

Scheer (at 7:12 of his immigration speech): “Sadly… a record high number of Canadians believe that immigration should be reduced.”

“Some have even made rash promises to reduce” immigration (at 16:54)

    Only

    1. Andrew, you do know that their koran says they are to kill un-believers such as you and I.

    1. I firmly believe that President Teflon Donald Trump will use Mueller’s press briefing to his advantage.

  4. COMMENT: Hi Marty

I agree with Trump. Assembling in the U S is not sufficient. We need the supply chain parts (eg manufacturing ) in the US. What do we do when we get in a war with say China – do we submit an order to china for parts to assemble a ship? Does not fly.

Kyle Bass and Bannon have come out speaking about the duty american companies have to our country. They use our legal system, tax system, to date favorable non tariffs and other incentives — where is the pay back to us? The days when our country was simply for sale and being sold out by politicians is gone – or we won’t have much of a country left. We have lost about half of our manufacturing jobs since nafta.

It needs to stop. Too bad if countries whine and cry that we can no longer be taken advantage of.

We have been used and abused for a long time…people are sick of it.

    thanks for the blog

    1. I’m currently reading Deep South by Paul Theroux. One of his constant themes is all the money America sends to African countries while 3rd world poverty is on full display throughout Mississippi, Arkansas etc. The jobs went south or across the ocean. He also mentions the Clinton Foundation and how it too ignores the American backyard.
I’m no socialist but if people are living in sheds with no running water you don’t send billions to strangers.

  5. The end of liberalism

Pat Buchanan explains why liberalism is dying now that it has set itself against nationalism:

    http://www.unz.com/pbuchanan/is-the-liberal-hour-ending-in-the-west/

Liberalism appears to be losing its appeal. A majority in the world’s largest democracy, India, consciously used their democratic right to vote — to advance sectarian and nationalist ends.

Why is liberalism fading away, and nationalism ascendant?

The former is an idea that appeals to the intellect; the latter, rooted in love of family, faith, tribe and nation, is of the heart. In its potency to motivate men, liberalism is to nationalism what near beer is to Bombay gin.

To be a proud Pole, Hungarian, Italian or Scotsman has a greater grip on men’s love, loyalty and allegiance than to be a citizen of Europe.

“Whoever speaks of Europe is wrong,” said Bismarck. Europe is but “a geographical expression.”

Identity politics, people identifying themselves by their ethnicity, nationality, race, culture and faith, appears to be the world’s future.

And good riddance too. Good riddance to liberalism, to conservatism, and to all the abstract ideologies that accomplish nothing more than to rationalize and imperialize evil. Nationalism, ideally Christian nationalism, is the optimal way forward for men of every nation.

Meanwhile, the liberal imperialists are attempting to criminalize love of one’s country… in the soldiery.

    Freegold in the IGWT Report

A FEW MONTHS AGO,I was contacted by Nikolaus Jilch, a journalist with Die Presse, who also writes for the In Gold We Trust Report put out by Incrementum, an asset management firm based in Liechtenstein. The “IGWT Report” is published once a year at the end of May, in German and English. And this year, for the first time, it’s available in Chinese as well.

Niko said that for years now they’ve wanted to include a chapter on Freegold, “but always shied away because the topic is so broad.” But for this year’s report, he said they came up with an idea—to ask me if I would do an interview.

I agreed, and over the course of about four months, he sent me three batches of question covering a broad range of topics, and I took my time answering them. I suppose you could call it my longest post ever at 43 pages.

They just released it today, and you can download my full interview at the following link:

    https://ingoldwetrust.report/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/IGWT_2019_SPECIAL_Freegold_EN.pdf

    1. There are always competing views on one hand you have Gold Bugs on the other FreeGold.

The above post from FOFOA explains freegold,

Who is right has yet to be determined completely but the possible outcome of the answer may soon be upon us all so knowing the difference is important if you want to have insurance against the eventual fall (Reset) of the US dollar.

Remember how much Gold does Canada have which is zero and what about your portfolio?

      1. If your question is how much gold does the government of Canada have. Pretty much zero. The over 1000M Tonnes of the Citizens of Canada’s gold held in trust by the Bank of Canada was sold off by the Liberals under Chretien and Martin mostly for 250/oz. The money from the sale never showed on the Gov. of Canada books or the Bank of Canada accounts. Perhaps a massive adscam. The Cons did not seem concerned as they are part of the UNIPARTY.

      2. I have never understood the rational behind the gold bugs – or FreeGold. There always seems to be a requirement for hyperinflation of the US dollar – which is always just around the corner. Yet, here we are with US interest rates around 2-2.5%. Meanwhile, if you owned gold (a store of value), you’ve both lost money and missed out on a 10 year bull market. I would be a buyer of gold today, only because the bull market is getting too long and there has to be a correction soon. But that is based on a market correction. After that I would sell my gold and go back into the stock market. The gold bugs and freegold believers are waiting for a crash of the US dollar. It that actually happened the price of gold would probably crash as well, because the world would be ending.

        1. You have life insurance

          You have house insurance

          You have car insurance

You have Short Term and Long Term insurance

What fiat currency insurance do you have?

According to a study of 775 fiat currencies by DollarDaze.org, there is no historical precedence for a fiat currency that has succeeded in holding its value. Twenty percent failed through hyperinflation, 21% were destroyed by war, 12% destroyed by independence, 24% were monetarily reformed, and 23% are still in circulation approaching one of the other outcomes.

          Read more here

          https://georgewashington2.blogspot.com/2011/08/average-life-expectancy-for-fiat.html?m=1

          1. I especially liked David Stanley’s comment that the US Fed notes will end in 2012 to be replaced by a Petrol dollar and if you don’t believe this you are seriously misinformed. All written back in 2011.

As for fiat currency insurance – any physical asset like a house, or even the ability to work hard is insurance against fiat currency. You are only vulnerable if you live off your money, can’t make anymore and the government either devalues your money (by printing more in massive amounts) or gives you nothing for you holding onto it – which is what is happening now. I find it hard to see how storing gold will solve the latter problem and the former problem just isn’t happening (with the US dollar). In fact if you had held any investment in USD since 1930 you would be massively rich (and very old).

        2. I have been a conservative for a long time, and as a young economist in Ottawa I embraced gold by buying only Golddust mutual fund for my RRSP. This was during the late 1980s and early 1990s, and I too missed the boat on the general rise in stocks. Not anymore. I see the pro-gold ads on TV and shake my head.

        3. That catch here is that value is an opinion that only exists in the minds of the people that hold it. So anything and nothing is a “store of value” outside of minds ;P. What matters is the relative supply and demand of things versus the relative supply and demand for money. NB that what currently circulates as money doesn’t have to be money. Money is the commodity everyone accepts in order to trade. It can be any physical thing (even accounting entries). Given that value resides in minds and is subject to both the wisdom and folly of crowds; its value is *never* fixed nor permanent.

  7. JP, the woman obviously does not understand that under Islamic law she is his property and will have sex whenever he demands it.

  8. Great Leader is finally able to get out of boring Ottawa. After he pisses off Pence today, he will be burning jet fuel to Montreal tonight for some sort of homosexual event. Our traveling man is back on the road again.

    1. What is there for Pence to discuss with Trudeau anyway?

      “No collusion.

“If you were waiting for the President to be overthrown, you’ll wait a long, long time.

“May I suggest repenting, resigning, cashing out that trust fund and giving the proceeds to the truly needy, and devoting the rest of your time on earth to spreading the Word of Him who made you and me.

“Failing that, take the trade deal, consider yourself lucky to get it and tell your friends at the Chinese embassy that God’s kingdom is very near—and what China has in store for it will make the fate of Sodom look like a day at the beach.

“While you’re at it, tell Mrs. Freeland that she would have been better off aborted herself, because her very conception was an abomination. It is the Six Million who should have died in bed surrounded by grandchildren, not her accursed grandfather.”

  9. 3 white women sue ‘totalitarian’ diversity-obsessed NYC school system for discrimination

Three white New York City school administrators are suing the Department of Education, claiming they were demoted and replaced with less-qualified but racially-diverse colleagues as part of a crusade against “toxic whiteness.”
Subjected to a diversity-focused witch hunt featuring persistent race-based shaming and verbal abuse, as well as groundless demotions and professional harassment despite decades of excellent work, Lois Herrera, Jaye Murray, and Laura Feijoo are seeking a total of $90 million from Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza and the city for compensatory damages, loss of earning capacity, and emotional pain and suffering.

“Under Carranza’s leadership, [the Department of Education] has swiftly and irrevocably silenced, sidelined and punished plaintiffs and other Caucasian female DOE employees on the basis of their race, gender and unwillingness to accept their other colleagues’ hateful stereotypes about them,” the suit, filed on Tuesday in New York state Supreme Court, reads.

    1. 155 days straight with snow on the ground caused by glowball warming. That’s why I bought a wood stove in January and built a wood shed last weekend to store dry fuel.
Governments spend too much money on non-essential social engineering cowsplat and that’s why infrastucture teeters, but glowball warming takes the blame … and then its put on the lap of the citizenry with higher taxes and service rate increases.
When you put your faith in the government to problem-solve you abdicate personal responsibility.

  11. How Calgary City Council and Mayor screw people. This is the same attitude everywhere by Municipal Governments. Provincial governments need to assert control over Municipal Governments and kick Ottawa out, a lot of debt has been incurred by Ottawa offering matching funding scams to halfwit Municipal Governments in order to buy votes for Federal Parties. Sticking local taxpayers and business with massive debt for half baked schemes. Much of it for half baked environmental scams.

  13. I was recently (Last Sunday), denied a B1 Temp Work Visa entry into the US to go work on a 3-4 week Inspection-Surveillance gig in Wisconsin. Not only denied, but fingerprinted – mugshot and read the riot act should I again seek entry under a B1 Temp work Visa..!! 5 yrs Barred from entry should I try under same cricmstances – Liftetime Barred if I went down under a pleasure visa (B2), and they found me working…w/possible jail time no less.

Many thanks to that 2 bit trust fund gender bent POS NAZI ASSHOLE – JUSTIN TRUDEAU and his BS Social Justice Crusade & Ignorant comments about a sitting US President.

    1. I had a similar experience when I applied for a NEXUS card. US immigration claimed I had been working illegally in the US for a Canadian company with US operations. They claimed I needed an L1 instead of B1 visa, even though my gig was temporary (4 months half-time) and even though they happily accepted me at the airport with a B1 (and I answered all questions accurately). I haven’t been to the US since and we go out of our way to NOT vacation there.

    2. Steakman and Steve from Rockwood,
This is absolutely awful. I’m shocked and sorry that this is happening.
Canadians have always been hired in the US. We are their brethren and they’ve always treated Canadians like family. They are desperate for workers, at present, in Trump’s rocking economy. I bet your employer down there was dismayed and disappointed, on such short notice, to have to look for someone else with your experience. Hope he can do something to get your situation reversed.

      Good luck.

Trudeau’s carbon tax will have zero impact on the climate. It’s just another giant scheme to redistribute wealth and buy votes.

Which makes these “reminders” sent to 7M households Liberal political ads paid by taxpayers.

      1. Doesn’t this just tell us that certain topics are trendy? We already knew that. The other thing to note is that the media just constantly imitates other media. No one thinks for themselves.

  15. Great quote from Scott Adams that will tickle the funny bone of political junkies everywhere at 11:37
“There was a man set who set himself on fire near the White House yesterday. That man’s name was Bob Mueller.”
Scott also opined the entire day consisted of fake news. All of it, 100%. Fake news takes ever more share in the 24/7 news cycle.
Pretty good show overall with some interesting insights from someone who has more sympathy for progressive imperatives.

  16. Lottery players may have noticed big changes to the Lotto Max game. It has bigger jackpots. More draws. More prizes.

But missing from the ad campaigns promoting the lottery is the fact that an extra number has been added, worsening the odds for the main jackpot by some 5 million to one.

Incredibly, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Lotto Max players actually wanted this change according to a survey conducted by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation.

We wanted to see this survey, and ask the OLG why they are still publishing the old (and now fake) odds regarding Lotto Max jackpots.

But instead of coming clean, this open and transparent and “socially responsible” crown corporation called security!

      1. Yes you do, Catherine. You need to admit a woman’s place is in the home, and to leave running the country to men.

The last thing Canadians need is to be dictated to by a drunken alley-cat.

Your children? Your son will learn to hate the bleeding sight of you, if he doesn’t already.

      1. They did the video in French as a trial balloon and if you read the twitter comments well Barbie is getting bbq

Also when Climate Barbie sent out that tweet on Saturday it was at 6:36 PM Newfoundland time so she was at the bar early.

        1. I take great comfort in knowing that I’ll likely never cross paths with her at a Mensa gathering as she clearly wouldn’t qualify for membership.

      2. Why is that 50% of the population are women, but when it comes to voting most of the winners are men and nobody is paying attention to global warming. You would think that half the politicians would be women and that 50% of the population had stopped buying SUVs and trucks.

  17. Our disgusting girly boy prime minister is burning jet fuel to a homosexual event in Montreal tonight. He had a successful day pissing off the Vice President over abortion. Because when you want to talk trade, you have to bring up abortion. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the election coming up, and Great Leader wanting to smear the Conservatives. I sure hope they dredge up that old Liberal favourite, “Soldiers Marching In The Streets”.

    1. so you ran to your safe place here

      LMAO

Also where did I ever mention I was against nuclear power?

UN article was to prove that they never mentioned Fukushima!

      You were put on notice?

You sound and act as like a liberal

    1. That’s obscene. Who is paying this money? Hopefully it’s mostly the drug dealers.
