  1. So then, the autopilot will perform just as poorly as the azzwipe-drivers who purchase these expensive virtue signaling techno-marvels. Good to know.

  2. Slaughter Pilot….

I look forward to the video where his wheels go whompy.

    1. The flashing lights are orange, not red. It is not uncommon for buses waiting to pick up students at our nearby school to be parked for a fair time with yellow flashing lights. If other vehicles couldn’t pass, the street would be totally blocked a couple of times a day, regardless of the needs of those living across from the school.
On the other hand, when the flashing lights are RED, passing is strictly prohibited.
I agree, though, that letting the car do its thing near a school bus is really dumb.

  3. If only individuals could be trained to direct the movements of these autopilot vehicles, the factor of an intelligent human intervention could perhaps improve their performance. I hope engineers will look into this perhaps overly imaginative suggestion. /s

    1. I’m more interested in seeing an autopilot vehicle that can pass a driver’s test ride-along without fore-programming of the exact route.

When they can pass the drivers test, then I’ll be willing to share the road with them.
